No worries, Porthos... the conversations don't seem to have gotten too carried away for the most part so hopefully it won't be a big deal to sort through it.

More reasonsing on why Word of Recall wasn't used.

Vampires can make a Move Action or a Standard Action while in sunlight under The Giant's interpetation of the rules.

The latter one I suspect is going to come up again and again given how much it is used as a counter-argument to the Word of Recall option.

    INDEX UPDATED

It should be completely up to date now. I included most of the suggestions, except for a handful that I thought were redundant, inappropriate, or just irrelevant.

It occurred to me that i don't know which thread these comments are from, and that I would like to read the rest of the thread to get the context in which these comments are made. How do I do that?

    EDIT: Thanks guys!

Since ThePhantasm is usually using [POST][/POST] tags, simply clicking on the link will bring it into context for you.

I think I posted it and it was rejected. I remember posting something from the Nale's wand discussion and the ThePhantasm said it was redundant because of the quote about the wand already in the OP.

Actually I think you are referring to a different Giant quote:

I'm a bit confused on what exactly the Giant is supposedly saying in the quote martianmister linked to. Is he saying that Nale is smarter than Sabine always? Or just that he is smarter in this particular situation? It doesn't seem like a blanket statement about their intelligence.

I wanted to voice my opinion on this, but couldn't figure out a good way to phrase it, and I think you've managed to do it for me. I wholly agree that that statement seems ambiguous on overall intelligence vs. situational intelligence.

I think this is probably more suited for the Class and Level Geekery thread anyway. Smacks of triva to me more than anything else.

Agreed. I think it's just a normal statement pointing out once again that the characters aren't omniscient and can make mistakes and forget things. I don't think it needs to be included.

I don't think it's good enough for C&LG, even, since it probably refers to situational intelligence, not Intelligence. It's basically saying "Sabine's opinion was wrong one time."
    I don't think it's worth including here.

Yeah, I read the strip like four times and had no idea.

I thought it might have been a signal, but it could also have been another bit of private gloating about how Malack didn't have a clue what was coming (like "my most hated enemies are about to die while I watch"), and drinking the potion or throwing the staff was the signal.

Just a useful FYI, you can use this Google query to identify recent posts by The Giant.

You used to be able to go to Rich's profile to find his posts (via this link) but it appears that that search feature has been disabled, probably in order to keep costs down.

    You are a genius.
A game is a fictional construct created for the sake of the players, not the other way around. If you have a question "How do I keep X from happening at my table," and you feel that the out-of-game answer "Talk the the other people at your table" won't help, then the in-game answers "Remove mechanics A, B, and/or C, impose mechanics L, M, and/or N" will not help either.

Well, that's certainly deserving of inclusion than "Rich corrected a minor artistic error after it was pointed out to him, exactly as he has done several times in the past".
