A thread or so ago, someone mentioned they had confirmed that Saints Row 3's character builder demo was capable of putting together members of the Mane 6. So, having downloaded 'Initiation Station' and having a few hours to fill, I gave it a shot myself.

Worth noting, they weren't intended to look like freakish mutants.

Thanqol, sanity is a standardize reference point for mentality which can accurately be declared unanimous across the entire human species. The first thing you have to come to terms with once you exceed humanity is that technically, you are not insane. The farther your standard gets from the normal human condition, the less sanity applies to you. Which really doesn't help your case when you tryto explain to somepony that no, you aren't a power mad wizard. You're just operating from a different perspective.

The real important art is that the farther away fro Sanity you get, the more important your sense of humanity becomes. Being functionally unsane is easy, if you are careful. Look at Bleakbane.

But sanity in the end is a crutch. It's correct for 95% of people 95% of the time. The other 5% have to play along, because everyone thinks they are that special 5%. You've moved beyond needing sanity as a stricture, and for that I commend you. I myself am bumping into the bars of my cage and it's, if you'll pardon the expression, maddening.

It is, then,high praise indeed that I can say Best Night Ever - in essense, Prince Blueblood does Groundhog day - is an very well done story, and well worth a read.



I also do have to say, that there does appear to be more sanity than ponysanity around here of late - heck, I'm starting to look like the crazy one, me, the former designated (comparatively) sane person... Ponythread seems almost... quiet.

If I were particulary paranoid, I might suspect you all to be planning some anti-Lich scheme behind my back, haha!

Only seen the first two parts so far but I liked those.

there is Silent Ponyville...good even if you know nothing of the Silent Hill game itself...and the side stories of that(Too shy for a rainbow & Rainbow's Surprise---Fluttershy/Rainbow Dash) the silent ponyville bits are fairly dark...you dont absolutely need to read them to read the flutterdash bits

I completely and utterly recommend The Worst Bakers in Equestria.

Basically, some ponies are cursed with incredibly bad cooking skills. Reality Warping bad. Every year, a contest is held in which these ponies must cook in front of a crowd. Throw Luna, Rainbow Dash, Ditzy Doo, Trixie, a plot to take over Equestria and the greatest intermission in the history of anything and you get my second/third favourite Fanfiction of all time.

Better Living through Science and Ponies is a Portal 2/Pony Crossover. Due to a portal malfunction, GLaDOS, Chell and Aperture Science labs are transported to Equestria. It's better than I make it sound. It gets my third/forth favourite Fanfic award.

You know, I've heard that before, but that's actually never been true for me. I've always found most potato chips to be rather bland. If it's not something like a flavored version of Pringles, I usually do stop after trying just one. [/tangent]
