What's she wanna talk'bout?
She stretches and yawns.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Motel]

"Nothing in particular, I think. I happened to mention you, she asked a few questions about you, and then after we'd talked for a while, I asked if she wanted to meet you, since she'd shown an interest. She said she did, so I came back to get you."

[Beans]

((Will deadtime soonish, so she'll go tomorrow.))
She nods.
'Kay then.
She snuggles closer, smiling.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Motel]

Talina is easily distracted from the fact that they should get going by the snuggles, and thus simply tries to pull Nycca close, stroking her wings and smiling.

[Beans]

[Motel]
Nycca yawns.
We can see her after I sleeeeep some more.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Motel]

Talina laughs softly.

"Okay, dear. Do you want me to stick around, or let her know that you'll be a bit?"

[Beans]

[Motel]
You're not going anywhere, missy.
She holds her, giggling sleepily.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Motel]

Talina laughs again, and says "Alright.", before trying to kiss Nycca.

[Beans]

[Motel]
And she deadtimes!

[Lady Serpentine]

[Motel]

Talina smiles at the bat fey, and drifts off to sleep after a while.

[FireFox]

[Ally]

Karyana nods.

"Alright. I'm just worried about you, okay? Something has to have caused the disconnect."

Ally nods and then, after a minute of contemplation, shakes her head and sighs. Whatever it is, I don't want to think about it right now.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, and creates a couch next to them.

"Then it can wait."

[FireFox]

Ally is a little startled at the couch's sudden appearance. So, uh, what do you want to do?

[Lady Serpentine]

The vampire shrugs.

"It's up to you."

[FireFox]

I don't know what to do. Ally shrugs and plops down on the couch.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana sits down next to her.

"Well, if you want, I could show you around?"

[FireFox]

The thief looks around at the forest. It looks like Ash's place. Very pretty, but too... nature for me. I like my bustling cities.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana smiles at the thief.

"Well, it's not exactly bustling most of the time, but there is a city here."

[FireFox]

Oh yeah? She raises a curious eyebrow. Let's go see it, then.

Entrance to the Nest

Kate Kyland, presumably escorted, arrives at the entrance to The Nest. She looks around, trying to get an idea of the place and find someone in charge.

She's a but nervous, that much is obvious.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana grins, and tries to warp them to a large branch in the Tree, from a window in which can be seen a blue desert, with a sapphire and jade city in it. The building style appears to be a strange hybrid of Russian cathedrals and Gothic buildings.

Karyana, in her six arms and wings form, steps out, and smiles at her.

"Hello, Kate. Here about the job?"

[FireFox]

Gah! Unless the couch came with them, Ally is going to fall right on her backside. Whoa... Did you make that?

[Lady Serpentine]

It did indeed come with them.

"I did. Do you like it?"

[FireFox]

Ally stares at it for awhile. Both architectural styles are unfamiliar to her and the blue desert is seriously disconcerting. ... You use drugs, don't you?

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana looks somewhat puzzled.

"Not that I'm aware of...."

[FireFox]

Uhuh. She smirks. Well, then this sort of thing must be more normal where you're from than my homeworld.

[Lady Serpentine]

"Not really. Especially not the architecture. But you can't blame me for that; I'm not the one who came up with the style."

[Lost_Deep]

[Entrance to the Nest]

Karyana, in her six arms and wings form, steps out, and smiles at her.

"Yes, yes I am."

It's that girl. What was her name? It started with a C, didn't it? No? Just play it cool and hope you remember it before you have to say it.

Sure, I know what you mean. I had an artist friend who took some bad drugs and woke up surrounded by paintings of a city made out of impossible angles rising up from the ocean while a tentacled giant watched over a red sky. Ally nods with a straight face that makes it difficult to tell if she's serious or still teasing.

[Lady Serpentine]

Oh!

"Yes, yes I am."

It's that girl. What was her name? It started with a C, didn't it? No? Just play it cool and hope you remember it before you have to say it.

Karyana nods, and starts to step back inside.

"Follow me."

"Actually, I saw it when I was dead. There are buildings like that in the Darklands, though not made of the same stuff."

(This artist friend wouldn't happen to be named Henry Anthony Wilcox, would he? )
