    I watch from a safe distance as Luther gets out of his carriage. If he goes inside, then I creep up to the side of the building to see if I can perceive movement or conversation. Otherwise I wait and watch.

    <rules question: was it 3.0 where shuriken can be thrown 3 per attack. I find no mention of that in the 3.5 srd =( .>

    You know, shuriken have always bothered me because they're so weak. Throwing three per attack seems like a perfect fix; I'd be happy to allow that. damage - (2d2+2)[4]

    Your first cloud of piercing shards peppers the thug with good effect. He looks up at you in surprise, drops the club, lunges past you and attempts to climb the wall, but falls back screaming in fury.

    There is a guard patrolling the grounds with a massive dog on a lead, but they don't notice you. You find a cozy hiding spot under a front window behind some bushes.

    Jaster sees Keiji on the roof of the tavern and only has time for one potion. Two of the other men throws punches at Jaster (1d20+3)[15],(1d3+2)[4], (1d20+3)[15],(1d3+2)[3], one pulls a dagger but doesn't seem ready to use it, and the others draw crossbows to shoot Keiji off the roof.

    Keiji disappears over the rooftops, evading Casey's grasping hands, but Casey gives chase (1d20+14)[22], making the jump and staying on Keiji's heels. Jaster is left alone in the street.
