Inside and Riverside are the main cities of the Nexus, and there's certainly plenty of odd adventures to be found in either. I'm not sure what's going on in Inside at the moment, but Riverside's east district is currently under siege by some sort of mystical fog, and an interdimensional ship full of trolls just crashed there was well.

These would be excellent plot hooks to add to the Plot Directory. Any other hooks that are looking for victims players should be added there too.

Also, in AMEN, I think you misunderstood what I said about the rat. It wasn't magically changed at all, just bred to be smart and able to report on things. I mentioned that there was a tiny amount of (almost certainly) undetectable magic deep inside it, but that isn't what changed it.

I don't mind them being found out, but finding out they are magical without even having a mage scan them for it breaks disbelief a bit.

It is more like they have a spell stored in them, set to go off if it is tampered with in a certain way. If you could change your post it would make me feel easier, but I didn't expect the rats to last long in AMEN anyway. Zefir can certainly notice there is something wrong with them, but I'd rather it were someone with more than just a keen sense for magic to pick up on what they are carrying.

If someone were to actively look at them with magic sensing goggles or cast a spell on them to detect magic I could see it happening, but the spell in them is so minor and tiny it would be hard to sense passively.

Slii personalized every set of spy rats to the Org. he was going to send them to. For GLoG he made them cute to try and attract pet owners, but AMEN's are a bit hardier than you would expect.

However, I didn't make them hardy enough to fight off dragon cats. The rats are probably doomed.

Not bad, like the idea of Knots. But theirs something I realized. Conjurer's can't conjure living things.....but that doesn't mean it stops them from summoning dead things. 10 necromancers summon hordes of zombies in a secluded area, 10 conjurer's walk into a castle, and walk as close to the king that they can manage. Conjure horde. Pwn faces. Instant assassinations.

You know, I'm surprised that mages aren't looked on with more mistrust by royalty/nobility - with Knots causing stillbirth, wouldn't it be possible for someone to hire, say, a Conjurer to prevent an heir from being born, and all they'd have to do, assuming they could get hired, would be to work very minor spells all throughout the house, over a long period of time, and only pretend to remove them?
