...that didn't sound good.
No sense pointing out the obvious, though. He glanced at Truse, who was still tensed, but looked good at the moment, as did the remainder of the group. Okay, things looked /relatively/ controlled at the moment, all things considered.
He kept himself steady, just watching. He gave a quick beep of his pokedex while focusing on the battle at hand.Last edited by Kantolin; 2012-07-30 at 02:42 AM. Reason: I'll actually use pokedex instead. :P

It is most certainly still angry, as a train car smashes it's way through the alley. Reflex from everyone for half damage (80 as it's horribly aimed, and won't hit anyone directly.)

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
"O nique." EVERYONE! RECALL YOUR TEAMS NOW! Era vanishes in a flash of light towards the Psychic. Zachariah focuses on the images of each person and the mons still left out. Had to hold that image in his mind for what was coming next. Each person momentarily became a blur of particles as the train sailed through them. Phasing was always an interesting thing to try. There was no sensation to it. The numb feeling was different than that in your fingers when you were hypothermic, or when a leg falls asleep. There was just no feeling. Can't feel when your nerves are just a cloud. Sight and thought stayed for some reason. He just chalked that up to the work of the gods. Doug, I'm going to need some attention when I reappear.
(Note: Esh said you may recall 1 mon. If I remember correctly, there are only 3 people who had two mons out, so there should be no problems.)
SpoilerEra recalled. Ambrule is immune.
Zachariah phased for 14 seconds. Zachariah lost 20 HP. Zachariah brought 7 individuals with him. Douglas, Tearu, Aeon, John, and 3 mons who are stuck out.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
Douglas' eyes widened. He'd expected several things, yes, but a flying train car was not one of them. He wasn't one to panic, but there didn't seem to be very many places to take cover. Summarily, he braced himself - maybe he could -
- and then he heard Zachariahs' mental call.
Having no idea what the psychic was going to do, he had one moment to make a decision: He knew Truse could withstand about anything that came at him, but he also needed to trust his allies... and they knew battling more than he did.
"One minute, Truse!"
The machoke looked more than a little startled at Douglas returning him in the face of danger - that was very much different from normal - but the breeder knew he could explain later.
And then he was... clear?
It was easily the most disorienting feeling he'd ever had. It felt like he was floating, only it didn't really feel like that at all. Had he fallen asleep? He couldn't feel his... he couldn't feel his anything. Had it hit him? Was he unconscious?
The indescribable feeling seemed to continue, as he was a bit disoriented by the world for a couple moments.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
The team regains solidity after the last of the rubble falls. Zachariah lets out Era. "Well enough. How beaten up is everyone else? I know I'm half way to passing out." The Unovan lets out Era again, now that the immediate danger is gone. Where the Muk was that knot of wires? Not here, clearly, or at least not in view. Well, those guys won't be needing their money where they're going. Zachariah slowly fades back into view as he starts going through the men's pockets for anything they have: money, mons, items.

SpoilerJohn's health 85/160
Rotom's health 37/37 still phased.
Unfortunately as he looked back he realized that he didn't fly out of range of the train in time. As he closed his eyes and braced for the impact, he feels a rather empty feeling. He opens his eyes and sees that he is inside the train. Then watches the train continue to through his body.
After a moment he realizes that some how he became intangible... and he begins to put the pieces together. The other psychic yelled something, just before everyone would have been hit by the train. Thus he must have saved his life.
Then he remembered what threw the train in the first place. He flies back down and lands to conserve his energy. I am tired and bruised all over, but still standing for the moment. However that will quickly change if we can't find the Beast soon. he states with a frantic tone in his voice.
He then looks in the direction of Rotom and uses telepathy.Rotom go under ground and see if you can spot a pokemon covered in electrical wires. Be careful this thing is strong.

Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
And then he could feel his hands again.
He closed and opened his fists several times. Weirdest feeling /ever/. Was Zachariah actually /used/ to feeling like that? Although admittedly, for one moment, the constant pain in his legs had subsided.
Huh.
Anyway! He shook his head, returning his mind to the real world. "Thank you, Zachariah - that's an impressive ability." He said, before he noted John land. "...as is that one. Huh. But!"
And first, he resent out Truse. Who, upon exiting from his pokeball, gave Douglas a quizzical look. Douglas smiled, placing one hand on the large machoke's shoulder.
"You know it's not that I don't trust you, buddy. Just had to also trust that Zachariah knew what he was doing."
That did sate Truse's curiosity as to what Douglas was thinking. He wasn't completely sure himself about it, however - they both knew what he could do, while he hadn't been given proof as to Zachariah's dependability one way or another (Especially as he hadn't seen what the psychic had done)! Still, he trusted Douglas' judgement and it had clearly worked out. Point for Zach.
Either way, Douglas took a good long look at Zachariah first, then Tony, then Aeon, John, and Tearu. Several people were hurt, but definitely seemed stable at the moment - and he had to work quickly. He noted Zachariah and figured he was already attempting to help some of the downed enemies, which was his next goal as well.
He searched for survivors as best he could - Truse ever at his side and watching, although it was pretty clear to him that most of these people wouldn't be getting back up. Some of them had various body parts of theirs visibly crushed by debris, some were lying in a smear of blood.
This one, however, was still breathing - albeit faintly. Douglas knelt - analyzing the situation quickly. "Truse, help me move this rock off him. Zon - " He released the other machoke. "Help him hold this steady."
With work with the two machoke, he was able to ensure the guy would be safe. Some broken bones, and he'd lost a bit of blood, but he was lucky: He'd survive. He could even be moved around pretty easily. More searching found him another who was in survivable shape.
But Douglas would have to hurry. He vocalized this half, "We've lost the element of surprise, so we're going to have to get moving pretty quickly." He mentioned to the others, as he began aiding their less near-fatal wounds. "It won't take too much to send those two back to the pokemon centre, though - they'll be unconscious for at least a couple days, but will live."
Broken metallic beams, extra fabrics. Wouldn't take long to make that a stretcher. "Give the medicines a couple minutes to work guys - this style of medicine works best when you rest for a minutes after taking it."
Spoiler
Presuming we as a group are staying out and not going back to the centre, and that I have time to do all of this (Otherwise disregard these, heh). In case it's focal, I'm doing these in 20hp chunks per 'pop'.
Tearu heals for 20 HP
John heals for 60 HP
Zachariah heals for 60 HP
I don't /think/ Aeon is very hurt, is she? If not, Douglas will give her some 'helps with the pain' aid, but nothing mechanical.
I'll be removing money as well as leveling up Truse a bit later though. Do tell me if I missed someone - insofar as I can tell, pokemon seem to be in decent shape, but feel free to poke me if I'm incorrect.

Tony's granting some last rites, looking down with a frown as Zach rifles through pockets. There are 4 intact, inhabited pokeballs, and among the downed gangsters, you find roughly 10 grand. Rotom goes down, and gets a glimpse of this Beast as it heads away.

Aeon shrugs, "At the very least leaving them trapped in pokeballs amongst bodies is a bad idea." She says not fulling agreeing with Zach's actions, but not against them. "Better home then they probably had anyways." She says as she picks up a metal pipe. "Hmm...could probably use this if they attack again." Re: PTTA-the lost king and the Cult of Arceus
After sending the unconscious and wounded opponents back to the pokemon centre, Douglas nodded. "So... was this the advance squad, or what? That seemed like a tremendous amount of expenses for five people." He glanced at the wreckage from the debris. "And then there's that 'beast'. Still, it's probably a good idea to move - the medicine should have properly kicked in by now, so extra adrenaline won't cause problems."
Truse crossed his arms, as Douglas paused. "Did anyone see anything watching us, actually? Presuming that was an... uh, extra effort to scout us out, it'd require them to be nearby enough to see, or have a camera, or sommat. My eyes are pretty good, but I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.."Beginnings usually happen over trifles... even if it's a coincidence...

"I'll be. I recommend Doug stay up though." Zachariah, Era and Ambrule look in the pit. Ambrule floats down first, lighting the way. "It's not even that deep! Just get down here!" Zachariah flings a flame at the candle, which does nothing to her. Zachariah heads down next, clinging to the wall before falling some ten feet still. "Ow." Zachariah lets out Bullet, who floats up to carry the Gardevoir down. "You two stay ahead. Ambrule, light the way." Ambrule floats and sits on the Metang's head. The group heads in the direction the Rotom recommended, once everyone made it down.
"Now, let's put some light on the subject." As he speaks, the light emitted from Ambrule grows far brighter, as does the ambient light in the tunnel.

Zachariah also focuses his vision more on searching for sources of heat.

"It may be rough to get back out again, though."
Douglas did agree partially with Zachariah - he probably should stay up topside. Among other things, having someone up top could be useful in case of additional problems.
Still, with the kind of oompf being utilized thus far, the more people to help, the better. Summarily, he held firmly on the large skamory.
"Thanks, Tony." He stated.
Upon hitting the ground below, he'd release Vicuņa, primarily for some extra light from the fire pokemon.Last edited by Kantolin; 2012-08-12 at 06:05 PM.
