Then smiles, carefully setting herself down cross-legged on the ground next to Pearl.
"A pearl is a beautiful stone. One of the most lovely of all. The best pearls are beyond price," she explains. "Gleaming in beauty, and treasured by those who know of them."

"It's what you're willing to give up to get something," Jamie says, smiling and keeping it simple for the little onion. "Something that is beyond price...no matter what you have, it isn't enough, for it is worth more than anything you could give, to have it."

Reelshka turns around to face Andy and shakes her head. No, I don't think there's anything that needs doing right now. But thank you.

Brinika runs up to Jamie and Holly. What's going on?

He looks a bit frustated. What he just did wasn't that much, or other said he could really have done more.

"So how did this blind date go?"

Reelshka shrugs. Pretty well, but I don't think we'll be seeing each other again. We're just not cut out for each other, you know?

Infirmary

"Do you think there's a chance that Palon has taken the cake far?" She doesn't know Palon, and is guessing that the name Jamie yelled when they discovered the missing cake is the person responsible, rather than a world-specific rude word.

Oddball is also here. He's walked up to Jamie and is trying to hitch a ride. By sitting next to Jamie's foot and saying "Odd-odd-odd! Dish!"

Andy shakes a bit like he thought of something bad.

Brinika's ears twitch and her eyes widen in surprise. Someone stole the cake?! That's terrible!

Actually, it was Magtok, Reelshka says dryly, both her expression and her voice indicating she won't stand for any judgements from Andy.

Reinholdt blinks a bit, head still fuzzy. Now his arms are fuzzy too as he has a stuffed panda plus. And then he kind of hugs it and his insides are all warm and fuzzy too. Everything's fuzzy now. It's really weird.

"Wow... thank you..." Reinholdt says quietly, really quite moved by the gesture.

Even though it's his own bear.

"Yer welcome."

Ermine says this jokingly, as it is Reinholdt's bear. She now goes to give him a friendly good morning kiss. Well, it might not be morning. You can never tell in the Nexus.

At least Palon didn't steal 40 cakes. That would be terrible.

"Palon's a trickster ghost. He's a good kid but he likes to prank," Jamie explains, rolling her eyes at Palon in general as she goes to scoop up Oddball in her arms! "I guess he thought a scavenger hunt was a good present!"

Brianna walks into the infirmary!

She'll spot Quinn, six months pregnant and double-checking the Infirmary's supply of insulin.

Brianna walks over. "Hey, Quinn. Things going well?

Sorry I've been away for a bit... things got a bit crazy back home."

Ermine says this jokingly, as it is Reinholdt's bear. She now goes to give him a friendly good morning kiss. Well, it might not be morning. You can never tell in the Nexus.

Reinholdt gives a smile in response to the joke and the kiss before looking around the room.

"I take it yesterday wasn't all that bad then."

He remembers... most of it. Enough that the question didn't really need to be asked.

Susan follows the kids out to the front of the main cabin. They didn't seem to mind that much that this ghost kid stole their cake, but Susan should follow to make sure they don't get themselves into trouble.

"Well I know I'm not the most experienced..." Reinholdt admits. But he compensates for it in other ways. Being extremely sexy for one. Not sure the pink eyes would do it for me though.

Reinholdt slowly props himself up in bad to look at all the clothes scattered about. "Thank you. I got most of it on quests and such. Oh yeah... that reminds me. I've got another quest I'm on call for, in order to help this guy whose life has become a plaything for gods. So I might have to go do that some time soon. Whenever I get the call."

"I'll check the forest." Natalie grins, and seems to forget that she's wearing a dress made of green silk. She gets slightly smaller, grows fur and a tail and loses her thumbs. Meanwhile, her hair recedes so it is no longer than the fur across her skin. With a last grin, she lopes awkwardly across to the trees.

Oddball, meanwhile, shall stay with Jamie.

Jamie giggles at Natalie. "Wait, we're supposed to start at the main cabin!" she says, reaching out to stop her friend's shapeshifting.

"Better not tell Toby you've been kicked upstairs." Quinn giggles, sticking her tongue out at Brianna. "But congratulations! Is there anything that I can do to help, My Lady?"
...yes, she's tweaking her a bit.

Oh, I'm not sure if I'll go on another date anytime soon. If I meet the right person, I guess. As for the people seeking redemption, there's a list in the main cabin.
