Because I am a heartless bastard, I noticed that the water level seems to be rising. First, it barely reaches to Kin's nose when she's laying on her side, and then by the end of the comic, it's at MinMax's waist.

I don't think so - the water level in panel 9 is the same as it is in the last panel.

I think Minmax is still kneeling from his jump and Kin probably doesn't lie as flat on the ground as a human would (either that or Minmax is standing and Kin is floating in panel 3).

That said, there is a lot less detail in the wall in the last panel compared to the first one, so maybe the water is rising or the wall's awaiting touchup by Thunt?

I think it's a general dwarf thing. The cleric of Loki includes 'hates trees' as something that doesn't differentiate him from every other dwarf.

That doesn't necessarily mean anything in this context since Forgath is not a character in OoTS. Just because t209 thinks everything is a reference that doesn't make it true. Not liking trees isn't the same as thinking they're out to get you like OoTS dwarves do.

I... I think we're on the same side, here. I don't think it's a reference because disliking trees seems to be a general thing that all dwarves do, not just Durkon and not just OotS dwarves. I wasn't agreeing with him, I was disagreeing.

I dont recall reading much dwarven hate for trees before oots. Most dwarves I read about just state a preference for caves. Not a hatred for greenery taller than they are.
