My dear Alabaster, Arcanus is under no threat of attack. Even if some one did manage to make there way through the barrier, I doubt they could even get past Miss Orchid downstairs, much less the other ten floors of mages. This building has the highest concentration of magic-users in all of the Nexus. I am not worried.

But since you are here anyways, I find myself presented with the perfect opportunity. I would like to discuss your position as head of the Divinatory Magics Department.

I was thinking that maybe, you should be relieved of your duties. To tell the truth, it is only because of me that the Divinatory Department still exists at all. Many wizards find Divinations and Future Sight to be a bunch of tricks and lies and laugh at the practice. I, however, would never fire some one who has been as faithful to our organization as you have been. I would like to reconsider your title however, move you down to Vice-Head of Divinatory Magics as we search for some one younger and more capable of the Head Position. I hope you do not take this decision to poorly. I am being quite generous with my offer. Many of your coworkers wanted to get rid of you all together, but I would not allow it. I hope you will accept my offer.
