Not necessarily. War is the fighting part. Conquest is being subjugated by another tribe / nation / culture. That part can go on for a very long time after the fighting is over.

I'd actually always heard Pestilence too, then I looked up some stuff and found this. I'm still not sure if it's 100% right (I always hold some doubt in reserve for wikipedia) but I went with it 'cause it was different. Originally Posted by Castaras

Yeah, if you look at where they're introduced in the Bible the first one "went forth conquering, and to conquer." And then the second one had power "to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another." I'm not actually sure where Pestilence comes from, unless it's the mention of "beasts of the earth" in the final lineup.
