Don't Believe in Yourself! Believe in Me, Who Believes In You! (3.5 SW Spell, PEACH)
Getting close to the end here (I'm really dreading that stupid conjuration school, but hey, a promise is a promise). Enchantment was a bit difficult, because, as most people will argue, enchantment is a weak school because so many things are immune to mind-affecting. The solution? Make an enchanter's best spells affect your allies instead of your enemies, that way you'll probably have at least one person in the party who will be affected by it, and it never runs out of usefulness.
Formidable Warrior
Enchantment [Mind-Affecting]
Level: Enchanter 7
Components: V
Casting Time: 1 standard action
Range: Close
Target: One ally creature that cannot be you
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will Negates (Harmless)
SR: Yes (Harmless)
As you call out to your friend and express your full faith in his power, your magic puts weight behind your words, and through you your ally is able to accomplish things he never thought possible!
Your affected ally receives a +1 morale bonus/2 levels (max +10 at level 20) on attack rolls, AC, damage rolls, saving throws, skill checks, ability checks, and opposed checks for the duration of the spell. Additionally, he no longer automatically fails an attack roll or saving throw on a natural one, though he still might fail if the AC or DC is too high for a 1 to beat it. Your ally becomes immune to fear for the duration of the spell. Finally, your ally gains 5 temporary hit points per CL (max 100 hit points at level 20) for the duration of the spell.

Well, it seems like a really great... Abjuration spell. I don't know if this kind of buff really fits in enchantment.

I like that you got the targeting right. Powerful, but the short duration balances that out approximately.

For a 7th level spell it would not be unreasonable for this to last 1 min/level instead of 1 round/level.
Meddle not in the affairs of Dragons, unless you brought someone bigger and tastier along with you.

hrm, already put this up for grabs in my current campaign, and I'm thinking of putting this on the bard list as a level 6 spell. Do you see any possible troubles doing that?

Re: Don't Believe in Yourself! Believe in Me, Who Believes In You! (3.5 SW Spell, PEA
Eh, compare it to Nature's Avatar (Spell Compendium), which is a 9th level spell. This gives a lot more bonuses and affects non-animals. It's disadvantage is a longer casting time (Nature's Avatar has a swift action casting) and shorter duration. With the benefits, though, it definitely doesn't need the longer duration. Also remember that 20 minutes is a long time, at high levels you can actually blitzkrieg a dungeon in less than 20 minutes. 1 round/level keeps this as primarily in combat buff, and a good one at that; it's leaps and bounds better than Divine Power, for example. Sure you can't use it on yourself, but cast it on a fighter (or other full BAB class) and it's better than Divine Power on a cleric by several steps, and that's without the saves bonus, damage bonus, AC bonus, or other bonuses besides attack bonus.
It's also definitely much better than Greater Heroism even with the reduced duration, which mirrors the reduction of Heroism's duration from 10 minutes/level to 1 minute/level with Greater Heroism.Peanut Half-Dragon Necromancer by Kurien.

Re: Don't Believe in Yourself! Believe in Me, Who Believes In You! (3.5 SW Spell, PEA
It does come in for a bard at level 16, not 13, and it seems right up their street to me. I'm getting the feeling this is part of a larger whole though, am I missing something..?

Re: Don't Believe in Yourself! Believe in Me, Who Believes In You! (3.5 SW Spell, PEA
Giving it to a bard would invalidate the purpose behind this creation. I made all these spells to give specialist wizards a little something to set them apart from normal casters. Yes, specialists get more spells per day, but that just means they can pump out more of the same spells that everyone else gets.
This was more trying to make specializations kind of like Domains, so the choice not only gives you more spells from your chosen school, but also spells that no one else gets access to.

Aahhhh, ok. Are there more coming for enchantment then? Is this something which you're gonna organise and present as a single post at some point? I confess, I've not noticed any others on here!

Re: Don't Believe in Yourself! Believe in Me, Who Believes In You! (3.5 SW Spell, PEA
There can be only one!....each....
I'll have to check your sig then, stupidly enough it didn't occur to me to do so...
Would be sweet if you had 9 for each school though, would make the domain reference a little more apt, and honestly makes a lot of sense. I guess you'd render the 'Domain Wizard' variant in UE almost completely redundant too, and that's not a bad thing! If there were more spells like this for enchantment, I may even be tempted to play an enchanter! All I ask is a tall ship, and a star to steer her by.
