Kirin shrugs. "I'm a servant here, and I do most everything. Once there are more servants, there will be a bit more specialization, but until then I'm a butler, maid, or whatever else is needed."

Well, I suppose employing a servant makes sense with a keep this large. Wenomir looks around. They definetly didn't cut corners.

Kirin nods. "Yeah, it's a big place to keep tidy. You know, if I'm not going to help Cessie with that thing right now, I might as well clean that room a bit while Harnel is apparently out. I'll be around, so feel free to flag me down if you need anything."

And unless stopped, Kirin will walk back into the Keep and go about putting fresh sheets and whatnot in the guest bedroom Harnel had been staying in... because they probably need it by now.

"Oh, I think he enjoys looking at them very much." Cessie replies with a amused smile. "He really should have them all melted down though, they aren't exactly practical stacked like this." She replies while looking over the hoard. "Perhaps there is a reason he hasn't huh?"

"I'm afraid he's more of a warrior, he hasn't have had much training in the arcane arts. He hired someone else to find all these books for me as a gift when we built this place." Their relationship is kind of like Dorota's and Krissy's.

The dryad laughs again, but not quite as hard. "Oh well, you know how men only have one thing on their mind." Her mirth fades a bit, being replaced by worry once more.

"How... peculiar." Nadas says.

"Do you know whom he hired to acquire these literary works?" He might want to hire them himself.

[Entrance -> Courtyard]

Well will you look at that! Harnel has returned, and he has some fresh pies, wrapped up to keep all warm and nice. He heads on in to the Courtyard.

Wenomir, who has been waiting around rather bored, sees Harnel come back and blinks. Harnel? You're back already? Is Ariel alright?

[Reinholdt]

[Courtyard]

"Hmm? Ahhh... Cessie's taking care of it now." Harnel says a little uncertainly.

"What are you doing here?"

[Morty]

[Courtyard]

I decided to drop by and visit, to see how you're doing in your new house. But then I saw that you'd apparently gravely injured someone by accident. What happened, anyway? I arrived just as you were leaving. Needless to say, Wenomir doesn't suspect anything strange about the Harnel he's talking to yet.

[Reinholdt]

[Courtyard]

"I'm not entirely sure myself. One minute, everything's ok, and the next Ariel's bleeding all over the place. I think someone attacked us, but it all just happened so fast, I don't know what to think."

[Morty]

[Courtyard]

Wenomir's eyes narrow.
Do you have any idea who it might have been? Also, who is Ariel, anyway?

[Reinholdt]

[Courtyard]

"What part of I don't know what to think, don't you get?" Harnel snaps.

He sighs and rubs his head. "Sorry. Frustrating day." Like Wenomir asking all these stupid questions. "Ariel is... Cessie's daughter from another dimension."

[Morty]

[Courtyard]

Wenomir is somewhat confused. It's not like Harnel to talk like this. Oh, well. It is a stressful situation. His explanation, however, is not something he expected. I see... I've met a couple of people from such places. One of them was Reinholdt who was actually sane and stable. He rubs the back of his head. I guess I'll be leaving now, unless there's any way I could help.

[Reinholdt]

"Well until Cessie is done with Ariel, I don't think there's much, sorry. I'll keep you notified. Thanks for dropping by though." Harnel says, giving a nod goodbye.

[Morty]

[Courtyard]

Wenomir gives a nod in return and heads back to Watchtower.

[Courtyard -> Guest Bedroom]

Harnel readjusts the pies, before heading into the keep and locking the door behind him. Afterwords, he takes a look around a bit, before ending up in the Guest Bedroom.

"Oh. Kirin. There you are. Was looking for you."

"Hello! I changed your sheets. Is that girl okay?"

She finishes spreading up the bed, the dirty sheets sitting at the foot of the bed. She begins to pick them up.

"So, how can I help you?"

[Reinholdt]

"She'll be alright. Cessie's taking care of her. Actually, I wanted to thank you for the hard work. I know this place is big and we'd never be able to keep it clean without you. So I got some pie I'd like to share with you." Harnel steps inside and closes the door carefully with an extra click, before turning to show off the delicious smelling pies to Kirin.

Sniff sniff sniiiiiiiiiff... Delicious.

"Thanks, I'll enjoy it later! For right now I'm going to go put these in the watch. See you later!"

Kirin gathers up the sheets goes to leave... assuming Harnel does not stop her. He may notice that the window is open, if he wants to lock that, too.

Her leaving might have the distinct issue of him between her and the doorway. "Actually, I'd much prefer if you just wait on that and eat these with me now. It'd be very appreciated."

Harnel's sweet smelling pheromones are no doubt filling the air as we speak. Surely it'd be ok just to take a break this once.

"Believe it or not, I'm not hungry right now. I had a lot to eat because I was expecting to go with Cessie on that adventure. I at least need to put these with the wash."

Plus, Kirin is noticing that Harnel is still, you know, demonized (literally), and may be a little unstable. In the back of her mind, she tries to figure out what kind of pies those are... it should be easy enough with her accurate cat nose.

They're apple pies to be exact!

Harnel goes to put his hand on Kirin's shoulder.
"It can wait. Honest. I just... I just need the company right now, ok? Please?"

Harnel, finding out he can amp up his pheromones via outside sources, amps them up to 11.

"Well... I gue- can you smell that?" Kirin looks around and sniffs. "Gah, what is that? Phew."

Kirin goes and opens the window. A few deep breaths. "Gah, do you know what that is? It smells like... I don't even know. Why does it make me think of candlelit dinners?"

[Reinholdt]

Guest Bedroom

"Then let's have dinner. Oh... need a main course first, huh?" Harnel says, pulling out a bag from his pocket and breaking the seal with his claws, before tossing catnip out into the middle of the room as he steps over towards Kirin, leaving the locked door behind him.

"...a candlelit dinner near a fireplace... or maybe at a campsi-"

Sniff sniff?

"Ooh, catnip."

Kirin examines it.

"I really shouldn't... indoors. The fumes have no where to go... and I might break something valuble..."

She looks down at the can.

"Huh... that's odd. It's in a metal thing..." She picks it up. "Look at these pointy bits... why not put it in a good nip bag?"

Kirin is very distracted by the catnip. Very, very distracted.

"I have no idea." Harnel admits, as he heads over to the window to close it and lock it. Keep the fumes inside.

"Hey, what did you do that for? Man, if the fumes in here get too stro-"

"...you locked the door. Why did you-"

She turns around to look at Harnel. She takes off her backpack and reaches inside...

"Sir, I'm going to escape now."

She is trying very hard not to scream.

"Escape? From what? Don't you like the catnip I got you?" Harnel asks, moving back towards Kirin.

"'Cause you are lusty from your demonic corruption and have locked me in your room. Please unlock the window and let me escape so I don't panic."

Kirin pulls a boomerang out of her backpack. It's very big, and purple with shifting orange designs in it's surface... or maybe inside it? Suffice to say it looks magical.

"And if I panic, we learn something new."

Harnel gives a toothy grin. "Come on now. You're not going to attack me, are you? Just relax. No one has to know. Don't you enjoy romantic dinners?" He steps closer.
