I mean, I understand each of the individual words, but when you string them together like that, do they make any sense?

It's actually cleaning up. I mean like, Redcloak knew that the resistance could be revived (even in slight chance) and needed corpses for soldiers (I can't even dare to think Thanh turned into zombie vampire blackguard or part of giant meat golem) BRRRR!

Here's another reason why they're cleaning up the bodies since Redcloak is not an idiot.

The nit-picky etc. is that there are no Resistance corpses visible in panel 13 near that of the spy. Thus my question about where they went.

What I was referring to was that in panel 7 there are bodies scattered about, including that of the spy. In panel 11, Thanh's corpse is dumped directly next to the spy, and you can also see part of another body. Then, in panel 13, you can see the spy's body but no others. I figure the most likely thing* is just that the perspective has shifted in a bit and the others are out of frame, but it's hard to be sure given that the spy doesn't seem to be any closer to the "camera" than before.

I tend to agree with Khaethrag on this. One can say that the camera turned and/or moved slightly, but even besides that, we've seen before that things will disappear if they're no longer relevant. Knot-Topped Resistance Leader's katana when he's torn in half, for a recent example. The devils are probably not helping Redcloak cart bodies around, because they definitely seem to be leaving. Though I'm not sure why the big devil is apparently keeping the Team Peregrine gish's dead body.

I'm really late coming to say this, I've been ninja'd by hundreds of people, but I just want to say how much I'm enjoying the comic at the moment. I'm consistently impressed by surprises in the story that I don't see coming... or the events happen kind of the way you might expect, but with a twist that keeps you interested. This arc with Redcloak is great. I hope we find out soon exactly what he is planning... or at least get some strong hints.
