Harry smiles grimly. "I'm a loud, DANGEROUS decoy. Warden, your first priority is the SAFETY of the prisoners. Come and look for me if and only if they are in no other danger, and you can get them to stay somewhere safe."

Grim nodded in appreciation. "Lead the way, Foxy and Hound." Seein the way Brando looked at him, he raised his hands in mock protest. "I know, I know, you're a cat. But it ruins the movie play on words. How about ... 'lead on Maxim and Cat Fancy?'

Amber nods as she tries to think of a safe area they could stay that was near this side of town.

Brando doesn't bother with Grim for now. He keeps his ears moving from place to place, listening to all noises

Laughing at Grim's jokes would help ease the tension but he really needed to be as alert as possible. In most situations of danger, he'd have made jokes too

But cannibalistic ghouls simply seemed awfully humor-killing

Warden Dresden moves off, whistling and seemingly non-chalant. Then about a minute later, you all hear a great, big, <THOOOOM> and also the sound of a door being blown off its hinges. It's show time! The other warehouse's door is closed, but someone strong can probably take it down.

Cocking his head to the side, Grim grinned. "Sounds like they're playing our song ... shall we?" He's ready to keep moving, staying close to Amber as long as she maintains the veil. He keeps sweeping the area, searching for signs of guards or lookouts ...

The door is sturdy...but not THIS sturdy. Even a bank's vault door would have trouble resisting this, and this is nowhere as strong. So, "CRAAAAAACK" goes the *heavy* wooden door as it literally SPLINTERS into a hundred hundred pieces. If this were a Matrix style movie, this scene would be in slow-motion. Inside, Brando sees a few humans who are bound in heavy chains and gagged, and a few ghouls scattered around.

Amber pointed her finger at another ghoul with her normal finger-gun and spoke, "Souffle de l'esprit" She said as she fired the burst of power.

    Spoiler

    Souffle de l'esprit
At the point of her finger a blast of powerful dense and focused spiritual energy fires from Amber. Souffle de l'esprit is Amber's preferred method of attack due to the fine control she has over it. It causes minimal exhaustion and is easy to pull off due to practice.
    Type: Spirit Evocation, Offensive Attack
    Power: 7 shifts
Control: Auto-succeed with focus item. Unusable without glove.
Target: One target within line of sight
    Duration: One action
Opposed by: Target's Athletics or magical block

    Rote spell, no roll

With the surprise attack, Amber is actually able to take out one of the smaller ghouls, bisecting it completely! The doc's fangs and claws literally tear anotehr ghoul a NEW ONE! That is, a new hole in its chest, and piossible one of its lungs. It is heavily wounded, but alive. And for the finale...Grim misses.

With a screech, the two ghouls that haven't been bisected, head STRIAGHT for the hostages! Having run so quickly, the ghouls were less accurate than normal, and the adrenaline of the hostages helped fuel their defenses, uses the heavy chains to block attacks! Still, they can't be lucky for long, and you don't know when reinforcements will arrive. Take them out quickly!

    Spoiler
    Show
Ghouls are now one zone away, with the hostages.

Without any apparent effort, Grim practically appeared to the side of the ghouls, weapon raised again. "Bad Mongo! Bad! Didn't you hear me say you were under arrest? Let's try that in a different language. BANG BANG!" Grim fired again, trying to hit the ghoul who looked the closest to eating someone.

Leaving the one he already wounded fallen where it was, Brando runs towards one of the ghouls that are going to the hostages. Protecting them was more important, seeing Grim had already chosen his target, he lunges at the other one
