The microchip lands on Reynard's boot and he doesn't seem to notice it.

I know I can count on you to deliver my message, Arina. He grins back at the ghost, reaching out to place his hand on top of her's.

Arina smirks cheerfully at this.
"Oh, delivering messages for you is the best thing I ever decided to start doing in my life..."

The microchip turns invisible and is now undetectable. The amazing device moniters Reynard's heart beat, location, body weight, and even has a small camera. The information is constantly being filtered to Thenadier. The mecha-roach returns to Thenadier. The roach wiggles into the Inspectors boot, it's duty done.

Now all that is left to do is wait for Reynard to leave and return to Tobias. Thenadier would allow Tobias to constantly moniter Reynards boot.

A practically weightless microchip that can do all that? Nifty. Reynard doesn't notice at all.

Arina smirks cheerfully at this.
"Oh, delivering messages for you is the best thing I ever decided to start doing in my life..."

Of course. Give Callie my regards. The Trickster smiles and leans back, dismissing her.

Thenadier has the best equipment. Thenadier just waits for more conversation to occur.

"Oh, I'll give her 'your' 'very' 'best' 'regards'," Arina drawls, grinning almost(?) insanely at Reynard as she goes to stand.

Have fun. Reynard casually looks around the room.

Well. Thenadier has planted the chip. Now he must give Tobias the receiver. So, without another word he leaves and heads back to HALO.

Arina smirks - then flies up and out, phasing intangibly through the roof as she departs!

"Hmmm... don't underestimate the killing power of a good, hefty axe." Rein says with a nod. He knows!

"Wizards are crazy people. CRAZY."
All of them.
Yes, even that one.

"Okay."

Ermine flicks her tail.

"From what I've 'eard an' seen of 'em, dey most certainly are. Ye gotta be real mad ta do magic."

[Reinholdt]

"Yep."

Reinholdt drinks rum. Exciting.

Ermine takes another swig of rum! Extremely exciting.

"I guess ye could be a wizard if'n ye wanted to, couldn't ye? Ye're pretty smart, got lots o' magic items, an' ye're definitely crazy enough."

A drow dressed in the blue and gold livery of Hosue Xar'Cha steps into the bar and scans the room. Though he wore a rapier hanging from his hip, this drow is pretty clearly not a soldier. At least, not of the sort who tend to frquent this establishment. Don't doubt that he knows how to use that blade, however.

This drow in particular, was a messenger, looking for a unique character here. Specifically, a Drorf named Junior.

Oh look, there he is, shaking off a particularly nasty bit of deadtime in the corner and nursing a mead. When he spies the ostentatiously dressed drow, he takes a moment to drain his mug before gesturing to a nearby goblin for another two.

"Come'n have a brew thar lad, an' we'll get down ta business a'right?" The drorf seems rather amiable tonight, for some unfathomable reason.

"I am not permitted to imbibe while on duty." The drow replies, his tone a bit haughty. It was clear he thought he was better than this drunken half breed. "I have been asked to deliver a message." He fishes a thick enevelope out of his pocket and holds it out to Junior. He'll be abe to see that something flat and hard has been placed inside before it was sealed with a spot of silvery grey wax, imprinted with the image of a dragon. "From Lord Sornnoul himself." The messenger explains, mystified as to why the noble would want to contact this... lowlife.

[Slii Arhem]

"A'right, a'right, yeh don't haveta sound so smug about it. Nuthin wrong with a drink now'n then. From Sornnolu 'imself ye say? must be light-fired important that 'ee could'na just gotten a scribe ta draft it. Give er here then lad." Junior extends a gloved hand and will gently take the envelope from the messenger, if allowed.

Taking a moment to admire the seal, he'll pry it open with a thumb and peer inside, trying to see just what was so important that his new boss himself would have to seal it. Most likely it's for his eyes only.

Inside the enevelope, Junior will find another placard, similar to the one he'd been given when he first met Sornnolu. This one was smaller and thinner, crafted from some strange purple wood. A blue and gold spider had been inlaid in one corner, and lines of drow script painted onto the front side. Junior might recognize that his name was printed there as well. The back consisted of acrane runes, that will likely seem to be gibberish to the drorf.

There is also a letter, handwritten in a neat, curling script. Here, Sornnolu explains that the workshop Junior requested has been completed and that he is eager for their work to begin. It also supplies directions to the building in Delmah Phor, as well as instructions to bypass the security placed there. Key was the card in the envelope, which could be swiped over runes near the doorways to unlock them. Junior will, of course, have full access to the entire facility. Any others who might come to work there will recieve a lesser clearence.

The messenger waits patiently nearby, in case Junior wishes to send a response back to Sornnolu.

Ah, wonderful. Well, it's not like Junior has anything keeping him here, since Grotte and Devi haven't shown hide nor hair of themselves since the last time. Best get moving then, if Sornnolu is so anxious to get his hands on some good, hard science.

"Are yeh headin' right back ta the compound? Ah'll need ta head thar meself, so Ah might as well accompany yeh if that's whar yer headed." Junior seems rather on the edge of his seat, excited to have a real working lab again. He just hopes Sornnolu will be patient with him on the creation of that crystal, since it will take a while to get growing frames set up properly in whatever shape he's asking for.

[Reinholdt]

Ermine takes another swig of rum! Extremely exciting.

"Hey I'm no... well... I'm not crazy like they are! Don't put me with that stock."
Reinholdt doesn't like wizards much.

"That said, I already trained in it some, but my species from where I come from has a low propensity for that kind of magic. I was only able to really learn a few tricks and illusions." Useful, but he'll never be able to throw a fireball or create rum from water.

[VampireRot]

"Really?"

Ermine's ears perk up.

"What kind o' tricks 'n illusions? Can ye show me?"

Magic is interesting!

[Reinholdt]

"Well yes. I mean, it's minor stuff. Open locks and doors for when I'm a cat. Images."

Reinholdt pauses to take a gulp of rum and make a bit of a show of it.

"Changing and throwing my voice."
Why he sounds just like Ermine now!
Except, even thought the accent is correct, the word usage for the Pirate language isn't. Not enough apostrophes.

Do you mean pitch and tone? Because the word usage and apostrophes would be her accent.

"Ooh! Ye sound jus' like me."

Ermine grins devilishly.

"Ye could do some fun stuff wit' dat. Mess up conversations, or maybe pretend to be someone else, like usin' a phone. Ye could pretend ta be Magtok and order tings from a dress shop!"

[Reinholdt]

It totally sounds like her. Yup.
*doesn't answer the question*

"Oooh. That is a good idea. We should do that now." Reinholdt says, digging his phone out.

"... No idea who to call though."

[VampireRot]

"Uhh, do ye know any girls Magtok could ask out on a date?"

Ermine twitches her tail.

"Mebe we could invite some people to a party at his cave."

But someone already did that!

[Reinholdt]

"Yeah, but no girls I'd want to inflict Magtok on." Reinholdt says.

Hmmm...

"I suppose I could just ask the operator." They still have those, right?

[VampireRot]

"I don' fink the operator would want ta date Magtok."

Ermine twitches her nose in confusion and drinks some more rum.

[Reinholdt]

"Actually I meant to find a big clothing store and order dresses." Reinholdt explained.

[VampireRot]

"Oh. Oh! Yar, right, ye should do dat."

Ermine nods sagely.

[Reinholdt]

"Right. Ok."

"Ahem. Here goes." Reinholdt clears his throat and works hard to fight back a giggle. Hard with the rum he's been drinking.

He does call the operator though!
Whoever that ends up being.

The messenger doesn't make much effort to hide his displeasure. "If you must, yes, I am returning to Delmah Phor."

"Right then, affer you now." Junior drains half his second mug of mead and leaves the third untouched. The bartenders can take care of them, he's sure. Once he has fished enough coinage out of his pocket to cover the night's tab, he'll wait patiently for the messenger to depart, and follow.

[Reinholdt]

After talking a little bit to the Operator, Reinholdt gets connected to the clothes shop.

"Yes. My name is Magtok Uglinose. And I'd like your top five finest dresses. I'll pay double if you get it delivered personally to my cave at [Insert Magtok's cave location] within a day. Thank you."

There's some more chit-chat, somewhat, but the order gets placed all the same. It takes every bit of control Rein has to keep from bursting out laughing during the call.

He fails once the call is done.
