Well, yes, that is the plan after all. Although three months is more optimistic than my estimate. Toby grins. Of course he's two steps ahead.

"Awww. If you were planning on getting stabbed, you should have told me. I would have been happy to impale you." Reinholdt pats the knife on his belt.

Sophie clears her throat. I'm sorry Tobias, but there's something I need to ask you.

The Druid is a little uncomfortable with Rein saying he'd be "happy to impale" him and then pointing at his crotch. That's just an awkwardly blatant come on to make in front of his wife. So he just blinks at Reinholdt, then clears his throat and turns to Sophie. Uh, right. Go ahead and ask... unless it's confidential...?

Sophie looks between Tobias, Reinholdt and Quinn. I don't think it is. Do you remember when we analyzed Liquid Agony? Do we have any records from that attempt?

[Reinholdt]

[Lab]

Tobias is silly. The dragon tooth knife is on his hip by his side. It's right there in Rein's description which almost never gets used! There was no crotch pointing. Hip patting, yes.

Rein falls quiet for now though, this answer being fairly important.

Main Cabin

Natalie is here. The eleven-year-old girl is sitting in a chair reading a book. Her long black hair is currently hanging loose down her back, and she's wearing a loose pair of joggers and a green hoodie. Her red rucksack is resting at the foot of the armchair in which she sits. The book is clearly very interesting, as Natalie doesn't seem very interested in anything else at the moment.

Well, if you pat a sheathed knife a certain way, your fingers are kind of pointing in that direction... Sort of... Close enough... Yeah, I'll just chalk that up to Toby being silly.

"Liquid Agony"? Toby looks confused for a bit, then looks back at Rein. Oh, that vial you took from his trash that tasted like pain? Yeah, I've got a file.

Great. Can I see it? I need to know a few details about it, she says, glancing at Reinholdt, as if asking him how much about the affair he wants revealed.

[Reinholdt]

"Actually, about that... I sort of recalled that I need that file in full. I remembered that Liquid Agony is up and up patented." Reinholdt says, leaning against the wall.

Toby looks at both of them, then slowly walks to a corner of the room and unlocks a small file cabinet. He hands a folder to Sophie, which contains a few dozen sheets of paper completely covered with druidic runes. And I care about patents... why?

[Reinholdt]

[Lab]

"Because it would be wrong to steal someone's hard-earned intellectual property without permission. Something I'm sure you can at least appreciate." Reinholdt replies.

It's not like I'm going to make that poison and sell it. Toby rolls his eyes.

Quinn listens, looking a bit concerned.

Jamie walks over to take a seat next to Natalie!
"Whatcha doin'?"

A disheveled halfling in a ratted blue overcoat walks up,

'Ello? I'd like t' talk to O'os in charge 'ere righ'?

The halfling might notice the tall, curvaveous, red-haired Exalt that his request gets the attention of.

"I'm on the Council. Can I help you with anything?"

Main Gate

The halfling stares at her for a minute before replying, I'd like to report a fire.

"...where, and what caused it. And you'd better not say dragon," Shrike says, frowning a bit.

[Hattish Thing]

Main Gate
Aceford Manor, Its bad. I dont how it happened.

Shrike's expression changes to concern in an instant.
"Where is that? I will come and assist."

[Hattish Thing]

Main Gate
He hands get a map. I have an appointment. I can't come with you.

Shrike nods, and heads out!

Annabelle, in all her ghoulishness, pokes around the gardens. She just prowls, as she often does, in her typical slouch and wearing her typical slightly-vacant smile. The curious ghoul still hasn't changed out of those rags after all this time - one wonders if she even realises it's strange to be wearing the tattered remnants of clothes from her pre-mortem days long after she's started walking again. Then again, she is a ghoul. Maybe it's a subconscious thing, like the claws-out walking-like-a-monster slouch.

But hey, look at the pretty flowers!

Annabelle might recognise Taurus, the gardener who welcomed her to GLoG. He's currently busy weeding the garden!

She might also notice a distinct lack of onions in the garden.

The next time Taurus gets low to weed the garden, he may just notice a familiar ghoul's face looking at him from only a foot or so away, crouched down on her haunches. She tilts her head quizzically.

"WHAT'CHA DO~IN?"

She echoes in a slightly sing-song tone, somewhat in the manner of a curious child.

[Garden]

He starts a bit! Then smiles as he recognises...
"Ah, hello, Miss Annabelle. I'm pulling weeds from the garden, so that the plants we want to grow, can," he explains.

[Darklord Bright]

[Garden]

"DO YOU LIKE GARDENING?" She asks quizzically.

"I SAW YOU DOING THINGS LIKE THAT WHEN I GOT STUCK IN THOSE CACTUSES."

Annabelle's head remains tilted curiously as she just... stares. She barely ever blinks. I've certainly never see her do it. Maybe she doesn't have to?

"I do. It is very relaxing, and it helps the people here in that it provides food," Taurus says, with the hint of a Russian accent.

"I LIKE FLOWERS. THEY'RE PRETTY, BUT I DON'T KNOW MUCH ABOUT THEM."

The ghoul pushes herself up from her crouch, looking around the garden. There certainly are a lot of pretty things here. Suddenly she seems to consider something that seems very serious given her expression. A few moments later, Annabelle looks back at Taurus.

"CAN THERE BE ZOMBIE PLANTS?"

With a straight face, no less.
