I've put in enough money to get the last book I'm missing (War and XPs) and get it shipped to Italy, so my collection is complete.

However, I just read (on update #5) that it could soon become possible to get the whole collection in one swoop.
Now, I have introduced my best friend and long time D&D player to OotS, and I'd like to get the whole OotS collection for him, as a present.

    So I'm wondering:
    1. Should I try it now, or wait to be sure all books are printed?
    2. How much would I need to add (I pledged $55) in order to get that kind of reward?
    3. Can I put two separate pledges with only one e-mail, so to get both the whole collection for him AND an additional copy of "War and XPs" for me?

    Thank you for your attention!
Right now there's a "Up to the Split" package available for $192, that's everything except DStP. I suggest PMing Rich to see how much extra a second copy of WaXPs would be, since because of how shipping would work, if there's room in the box for another book it'll still be the same price for shipping. If we get DStP reprinted as well, you can change it again to the everything bundle, and PM him again to see how much extra it would be for that bundle.

(Or if you don't want to bug him with PMs right away, you could just guess the price for now - most of the bundles charge an extra $33 or so for WaXPs added in, and since yo ucan change the pledge again later, you can just put that in as a placeholder for now.)

Best bet is to leave Rich a message on Kickstarter, which he is sure to see and know exactly what is about. The send message link is right below The Order of the Stick Reprint Drive.

One of the earlier Updates stated that the box that is level 2 shipping holds 10 books. (Level 1 being an evelope that holds 1 collection and 1 prequel, but not 2 collections)

It looks like it's calmed back down after the inital stampede. Still going at a pretty decent clip, though.

≈ 10.4K to get to full printing for NCftPB.

A W&XP + NCftPB pledge point ($79 + $22 shipping to Canada) was added within the last hour or so. It's exactly the same price point to Canada if you got two separate accounts and got them individually ($42 + $45 + $7 +7 = $101), so no worries there.

Besides cursing out the state of international shipping, of course.

    This.

I would definitely buy this in a heart beat.

Not saying this should be part of the Kickstarter but I would love to see this as a future book idea somewhere down the line.

I have a feeling that the Linear Guild/Tarquin's party is next year's book. Sorting out everything related to the current fund-raising drive, such as new stories, crayon drawings, signatures and mail-outs will use up much of Rich's time for the first half of the year. By then the Book 5 storyline will have been completed online and Rich will be concentrating on preparing the extras for that to be launched in time for Christmas plus the usual ornaments etc.

So an LG/Tarquin book may appear around the middle of next year and then it will be a matter of whether another reprint drive is needed, whether there is still classified information on the Order of the Scribble which will prevent a book on that being writable, whether book 6 is nearly cooked or whether we have another limited edition book which collects the stories for this drive, some more sticktales etc. (It would probably be too early for meeting 5th edition versions of the characters yet.) This is all while hoping that Rich's health holds up.

Heh, I pledged 77 Dollar a while ago for the print only package and promised myself that if it would ever get to the "What the hell: buy 'em all"-phase, that I would actually do it. Just because I am sincerely excited about this thing. Rich has given so much, and I haven't actually reciprocated, so this seems like a good moment to do so. The vibe is there, and I actually feel it: I never ordered a book because I've been a student for almost a decade and shipping one to Europe is about as expensive as the book itself. Now, I have a job, so what the hell, hm?

Now it seems we might actually reach that phase at some point, and I am happy about that. However, I haven't told my fiancee about it. Yet...

Let's keep this up, and I am bound to up the pledge by ~200 dollars! .

Those both sound great, but they seem unlikely to me. The two prequel books are about 1) the main protagonists, and 2) the main antagonists. We probably won't get any about secondary characters--he'll concentrate on the main story.

For those commenting that some rewards don't seem to "add up" and may cost different than getting the rewards separately or from ookadook, remember that a Kickstarter drive isn't exactly a storefront... you're not exactly "buying" the books. You're pledging support and getting rewards, and realistically we all want good rewards, but think of it like when public television does a fundraising drive and they give you a coffee mug if you donate a hundred bucks. Dang that's an expensive coffee mug. But you're not exactly buying it... you're making a pledge "for the good of the cause", and you happen to get a nice coffee mug as a show of thanks.

That's pretty much what this is, in theory. I know as well as you do that we all want good swag. But, if some things seem a bit "off", no biggie. Plus Rich is throwing so many different options in there so quickly there's sure to be some slight discrepancies.

    314% now. My goodness.

And secondary characters seem likely to be prequel'd. Their backstory gets involved just as much if you think about it.

The thing I'm boggling at (boggling I tell you!) is that we have actually *increased* the slope of the line on the chart today. In defiance of everything a sense of logic (and at least one other poster's carefully crafted logarithmic equation) tells us should be the case.

You hear that, everyone? WE HAVE BROKEN MATHEMATICS.

Autopsibiofeeder - I'm in exactly the same boat . I pledged for the print-only's, but bargained with myself that if an 'every book out there' one was put up (so 1 more than the current up to the split) I would go for it.

So up to this point I haven't owned any OOTS books.

I was going to use this drive as an opportunity to get a couple of books, put up around $75. I have the money for a significant purchase.

    But now...

I am getting UP TO THE SPLIT for $200. Because I somehow got invested in this enough that I want to see us get there, and 6 trade paperbacks for that price isn't half bad. So thank you, you crazy S.O.B.s. You inspired me to make the best entertainment choice I'm going to make all year.

Dont know why but i am a complete sucker for signed or first edition books.
I Had to get the No Cure and War. My collection is now (finally) complete!

But the real reason im posting is to congratulate the playgrounders, not only did we reach our goal we crushed it. It feels nice knowing that even now people can still rally like this and show such overwhelming support for the giant.

And we still have 25 days to go. Just absolutely mind blowing.
