Eadin looks pretty freaked out.
"Uhm, hi?" She tells the dragon.
Her tail mophs back to her legs and she stands up.

I hear you saved my Rider from death...thank you." there's an appreciative tone in the voice.
The dragon bows towards Eadin, extremely grateful for what she did.

Transport (Roosevelt was a muscle-builder? )

Marciano howls in joy. It was about time something happened! If the trio of clones were leaving he guessed it was time to leave! Marciano is of course, very competitive. He jams his claws into the wall and cuts with the magical blades...it makes a horrible sound like chalk on a board...he did that a lot. Soon he jumps out of the transport hole he made. He grins at the maglone trio. Hehe. I 'ave me own way 'o' gettin' meself ou'. Marciano sits there now. He doesn't know just how sturdy his tank is, but he guesses it's enough to blast straight through the Thessalonki wall! Grantaire takes out the large cube. It sits on the floor and slowly transforms! In a mere matter of minutes a gigantic tank stands there! It has a very large gun on the roof, huge brown plates to cover the outside, a large front section of the tank resembles a shark. Much like an old plane would. There is a large crane on the back, currently it's closed and not functional, but with the touch of a button, the huge crane would rise, it has a huge maw on the top, obviously used to crush soldiers very bones. The tank has many spikes jutting out. It must weigh tons. Several other guns stick out of open areas where the plate doesn't cover the tank. Marciano activates a blue forcefield around the tank. Marciano slips inside with Grantaire. They charge up the tank. It seems they're preparing to run straight through a wall and blow up whatever they see! Ready? Ge' Ou' 'o' th' way! Next turn he'll charge straight for the gate with the massive siege machine.

The transport zooms off toward the Legion camp!

"Most of the enemy soldiers will be off raiding the city. That'll make our job a bit easier," Cloaked Guy says. "But it won't be a walk in the park. There will still be enemies and getting down into the command bunker will still be difficult. But pull this off? And it should buy the people in the city time to escape with their lives."

That's always nice!

And so Wyvern 93 is unceremoniously shot to death via a whole bunch of DAKKA. Seems she won't be a threat to anyone any longer.

[Thessaloniki - Bathouse]

Wyvern Thirty Seven, meanwhile, is still very much alive.

As Wendy dodges aside the creature burries his claws in the wall above him and yanks himself upward, managing to get a gash along his tail rather than a hole in his gut. And speaking of tails a rather nasty looking vibro-blade just popped out of said tail and lances downward at Wendy!

The creature doesn't seem to have spotted the approaching shape-shifter yet.

[Thessaloniki - Museum of History]

"Alright ladies!" Centurion Antony bellows. "This is the place. Grab your gear and get your lazy asses moving. GO!"

The back of the APC swings open with a thud and sunlight pours in! There are already looters at the Museum, too! Most of them spot the APC, drop what they're holding, and flee!

...

Which breaks a number of priceless artifacts. Ah well... Someone can probably glue them back together again. Just don't lose any of the pieces!

A few other people run back inside as Legion soldiers fan out to create a parameter and begin setting up the medical station! Antony levels a finger at Eighty as she's climbing off the APC. "As for you, lizard, keep a close eye on that kid. You follow him like a shadow, understood?"

Eighty nods in reply, "Yes Centurion!" and then tuns to Sammy. "Let's head inside. We can find the people still trying to steal things and escort them out."

Hopefully not violently. Eighty would love to avoid killing people if she can manage it.

[Thessaloniki - The Walls]

Uuhh...

Forty Five has a sheep thrown at him?

I guess?

Oh! And the gate just got asploded! It's going to be difficult for more APCs to get in unless a hole gets blasted through the city wall.

In response to the triplet guy's request the driver of the transport stomps on the brakes in a bid to hurl the priest off! Regardless of what happens as a result the guy will gun it afterwards and take off at full speed! If the priest ends up on the ground there's a rather unpleasant likelihood he'll be run over.

But the priest dodges!

And a solider is waiting for him at the open hatch! With a gun! Shooting!

There doesn't seem to be a medic inside the transport, sadly. And the poor solider guy falls over all dead and emaciated and stuff like that one guy from The Last Crusade. Though thankfully the person doing the life drain may be exploding in the near future.

The soliders with the Mystery Meat crew take up position around the damaged APC and use it for cover as they open fire on the militia of Thessaloniki! These guys are pinned down pretty well and no doubt in big trouble unless-

...

A halfling whips out a tank.

It should be noted that they're inside the city walls right now and so no plowing through of city walls will be required. Unless of course the halfling just drove back outside the city in which case quite a few people will be perplexed by his actions.

There are a number of buildings near the ruined APC were people could take cover, but getting past those militia shooting at them from the wall may prove tricky.

The halfling presses the control to move the large gun to where it's facing the wall. Collapse the wall, the soldiers will stop firing right? Marciano presses the big red button a button and a huge bomb is blasted out of the tank's top gun. It heads straight for the base of the wall.

Leeh stumbles forwards into the area in front of the bathhouse, pausing to lean against a wall and steady himself for a moment.

The pink stuff he consumed is a little something he created to help his body repair itself faster, but it's still by no means instantaneous. He doesn't want to wait any longer though, who knows how long that fellow with the sword can keep the wyvern distracted?

Well, might as well take advantage of the situation before the wyvern notices him. Leeh flicks the sword back into a cane and leans on it as well as the wall, aiming the pistol in his other hand, looking for a weak point to shoot at. The wyverns seem pretty well armoured, for the most part, so he's pretty limited in his options. So...why not go for the eye? Sure, it's a tiny hole in the wyvern's helmet, but if he hits, it's likely to pierce through to the wyvern's brain as well.

And if it misses then it might well shatter the helmet.

Steady...steady...

Leeh pulls the trigger, the pistol glows brightly, and with a mighty crack of a sonic boom, the bullet is fired at the target. The pistol, meanwhile, ends up being absorbed back into Leeh's arm to avoid causing any damage from the rather significant recoil. That'll certainly have attracted the wyvern's attention, so Leeh flicks his cane back to a sword and charges in to join the fight.

Well, I say charges...

It's more like a fast walk with a slight limp. His leg's still a wee bit unsteady at the moment.

Thessaloniski - The Wall

Those watching the Blood-Thief will see him(or her? Did the Blood-thief even have a gender?) crumple into a ball and feel a massive static charge around them. The person's legs lengthen and there's a cracking sound as a new joint is added, and tufts of fur raise from the Blood-Thief's back, bursting through their clothing. His ears lengthen and turn floppy, and a pair of long and sharp teeth grow at the front of his mouth.

The Blood-Thief's soul and mind will feel itself pushed back, deep within the recesses of the body as a strange entity takes control. The Daemon within has a mean-streak a mile wide, huge sharp and pointy teeth, and can leap...

Well, just look at it!

The Daemon of Caerbannog opens the eyes of it's new host and gives a grin before getting to it's much larger and stronger feet. It's finally felt freedom for the first time in several millennium and it wouldn't waste it. Smelling prey nearby, the Daemonhost leaps at the nearest person, large and pointy fangs aiming straight for their neck. The fangs themselves seem wrapped in dark energies, allowing it to puncture most armors.

"SKREEEEEEE!!!!"

Slaanesh and Sixteen

"We won't have a choice anyway." Razorfang admits before nuzzling her lover/slave once more. Rugal gives a nod to her and Charlotte before looking at the Wyvern as he shuts down the connection in his mind, the use for it finished for now. "We need to get going to the Cache now. If you can lead the way, we'll be grateful." The psyker tells her before he begins to run off quickly towards the Gate. Charlotte and Razorfang follow with the latter running and the former floating towards the city.

Above the Sea

Blood shrugs when they reach the Crew Deck. This level of the ship is just a large array of hammocks for the crew, as well as the Captain, to sleep in. "It should be just a day's flight North of here. And I don't know if the treasure is guarded or not." He admits.

You know, I kinda doubt that she's gonna understand anything I say beyond this point unless I use rather vague terms. Oh, hey, you're thinking of it in terms of 'when' rather than 'if.' That's... Actually pretty good. ...Or it was until you just went and made yourself conscious of what you were doing. Well that didn't last as long as we could have hoped.. Well, do you have three words left in you at least? I think you can manage that much.

"Tools. Weapons. Enhancements." the muse said. However that last word brought about a tiny mote of curiosity in the back of her mind just as she spoke it. Would such a small frame present any great challenges to modification? Given that cell size should be the same, then it was just a matter of finding the proper vectors of entry and the plasticity of the sites to be affected, then perhaps it wouldn't be too difficult... There would need to be some tests first, however. And some other basic implants would be necessary, of course... It had the potential to work.. Maybe it was possible.

Too bad Mimi was looking in her direction or else the muse might be able to make a few preliminary measurements and make some tentative extrapolation from there.

Tools, weapons. Yep, she understands those well enough. Enhancements is trickier, but kinda makes some sense... Maybe? Okay, she should ask. "Enhancements?" She asks simply, her curiosity obviously piqued. Riss sure seems to do interesting stuff for someone who talks so little.

Okay... How to explain this. Basic functionality would be like.. Alright, I think I can do this. "It's like a tool that's a part of you." The muse said, her words coming a bit more readily. Though she was obviously still quite antsy and was completely unable to meet eye contact, she was at least speaking with more ease than before.

"Alternately, things that improve your ability to do things that you are already able to do." she continued. On a whim, the muse called up a design she had been working on for some time but had set aside recently to pursue other things. Currently, the system was too large to use as the lattice structure she currently had would generate too much heat and damage the surrounding areas if it were to operate at the intensity that would be necessary to affect something her size... But given a much smaller area and then the only limitation would be energy... Which could possibly be supplanted by a capacitor system to provide a buffer...

Riss snapped back to reality, realizing she had just spaced out.. Although tripping over that tree root may have helped in that.

The conjured storm has stolen any sense of direction or bearing, blanketing the ground in bitter snow and filling the air with a veil of unceasing, dancing snowflakes that cut off all but the occasional glimpse of remote movement from the battlefield around them.

Which leaves him with the unenviable choices of heading back, into the fray, where with the confusion and lack of colors nor uniforms he might well end up doing more harm to friend than foe, or delving further ahead and towards who knows what enmity. Were Kale perhaps a little more strategic minded and less bullheaded, he might have the common sense to hold back and try to rally what allies he can rather than simply charge one way or the other. But as is...

He demands of the injured gnoll, trying to wipe away some of the blood welled in and irritating his eyes, staggering a little with his words as the attempt to speak too quickly incites a sharp sting from his wounds.

Thessaloniki - Walls near the broken Gate

When the sheep flies (and obviously never reaches the wyvern) Zefir push a button and suddenly a fanfare can be heared from the sheep. It starts to fly leaving a track of gloomy dust behind. It's speed is near rocket speed.

The sheep with a red cape on his back aims for the wyvern flying in a strange unique way, it seems to avoid anything that may hurt him. The Sheep will try to slam into the Wyvern, causing a big explosion, which could easily crush a tank. Still the sheep is controlled by the device on Zefirs head, so he seems to be able to change it's directions.

Marty looks terrible. His chest flesh has been ripped out. He bleeds into his clothes. He's sweating profusely. His head lolls to the side. His magenta coat is ripped up. His foot is burnt up beyond any resemblance of a human limb. He's as close to death as he's ever been. he's tied up in such a way that his blood drips into a pool around him. He's somewhat delirious.
I...don't...know....P...Please...I just wanted to....he....hel... His voice fades. His lungs are slowly filling with blood.

...Kordak! Drift can't take it anymore. Kordak, he's dieing!

The gnoll, who seems to have taken up pacing irritably as he worries about the way the battle is headed, pauses long enough to raise an incredulous eyebrow. I've seen you kill hundreds. Why is that bothering you?

Spare a healing spell. Just one! Drift crouches next to Marty, but is further unsure of what to do. He's no healer.

That half-breed is my prisoner. I would have him killed anyways. He resumes his pacing... and is very lucky he did so as the greatsword smashes down into the ground where he had paused seconds before.

Every gnoll present jumps in surprise as a blood-streaked Sleet enters the scene, drawing a dagger from her belt and attacking the nearest lesser gnoll in the ring of guards. Kordak you coward! Hiding behind lines while your slaves and followers die!

The attack is very short lived as Kordak's whip catches her full in the face, opening an ugly cut from her temple to lip. She falls to her knees, the dagger dropping from her hand. Driven by guilt from causing all of this, it had been her last stand, a desperate attempt to kill her ex-master.

Drift is helpless as they drag her into the circle as well and deposit her next to Marty, tieing her up in the same manner as he was. Still, despite everything she'd arrived at a good time. He couldn't move or else draw attention to himself. But he could discreetly saw through the ropes binding Marty's hands together and whisper Marty, check her pockets. She'll have a healing potion for sure!

Talnissa

What kind of mage doesn't ward themselves before going into a fight? The one with a robot body, apparently. The spell slams right into Talnissa, knocking her down just as she's starting to tap a node of wild magic, which, as always, has rather strange and unpredictable effects, including, but not limited to, causing much of the nearby plant life to begin randomly mutating.

An explosion of icicles and wild magic brings screams from the surrounding slaves, followed by many blood splatters and much chaos.

They're in a field, so there isn't much 'plant life'... save the grass under their feet, which seems to be shifting unpleasantly, making awful squelching noises and lapping up the spilt blood.

The wild magic doesn't have many targets present actually, except for the remaining slaves. Between the spell and the leaked magic - which seems to be mutating the people as well - the only survivor out of the slaves is the young lizardfolk woman. She's impaled through the tail by an icicle, but had sought refuge behind a deceased friend and made it through with only discomfort, horror and a hole in her tail.

Kremiir, believing he's more or less killed everyone present, turns with a smile on his furred face and proceeds to make his way back to his brother, slow going in the deep snow. The storm begins to lessen.

Kale

Grendar snarls again. He was asking after Kordak! If this elf managed to find his brother, then Kordak would know he'd failed and...

Wait a minute, this is perfect! He was asking after Kordak!

His brother hadn't said anything about killing the elves after all. Just merely fetching them. Besides, maybe on the way he'd find Sleet.

Follow. He turns and limps away into the snow, blood leaving a vivid trail for Kale if need be, although it's soon to be covered at the rate the snow is falling. He has to drag his right forepaw, it screams in protest when he tries to stand on it. The pain breaks over him, bringing small whimpers so out-of-place coming from the hulking beast.

He can smell his brother. The wind may howl in his ears and blow snow to trick his eyes, but at least it brings the familiar scent to him.

Provided Kale follows, they will end up in an area somewhat withdrawn from the storm, where there is only a thin layer of powdery snow, with clearer vision. Marty - looking entirely worse than he had at the beginning of all of this - lies in the center of a ring of gnolls, tightly tied. Drift crouches next to him on one side, and Sleet is on the other, tied and bleeding profusely from a jagged cut across her once-beautiful face. Pacing before them is a giant gnoll who can only be Kordak.

AM4

Outside Trog's

AM4 staggers, but manages to retain just enough balance to remain standing. The machinaton does not have time to stop the Gnoll from leaving, however, and instead glances at the surrounding chaos.

After advancing towards another of their foes and seeing it run away, AM4 pauses. Normally, the automaton would pursue, but AM4 turns to look for the group's leader instead.

(Sorry, I forgot the name. It's been a while. ^_^' AM4 is looking for the person who got them into the battle, or anyone else close by. )

AM4 would probably run into trouble finding just about anyone in the swirling snow. It does appear to have a nasty tendency to obstruct vision more than a few feet away. If he has another method of finding Sleet (or Kordak, not sure which he was after, but they're in the same place), however, it may lead him to the patch of field with Marty, most of the greater gnolls, and Drift.

Ordinarily this area would be well-guarded... but with the chaos and confusion, the storm, and the fear that AM4 seems to strike into the hearts of the lesser gnolls, arriving there wouldn't be altogether too difficult.

If he doesn't have another method of finding Sleet or Kordak, then he's in luck. Kremiir's spell has begun to lessen and the snow finally begins to settle, giving a mildly clearer view of the battle.

The mermaid smiles a little.
"Yeah, I'm up for some sightseeing."

"Then what are you waiting for? Climb up onto Shimmerscales' back!" she said with a large grin.
"You're gonna want to hold onto me tight for your first flight, and to strap your legs into the saddle." she added as she strapped herself into the front pair of leg straps that were made to keep a Rider and his companion from falling off.

[Eadin]

Eadin will slowly try to climb onto the dragon's back.
Once there, she'll strap her legs like told and holds onto the girl.
"Uhm, ready... I think."

[Mindfreak]

Eadin might feel the excited, yet scared feeling people get while on a rollercoaster when the dragon suddenly takes off!
"Woooooo hooooooooo!" the girl says as her hair streams back in th air as her dragon swiftly climbs into the sky, then settles at the perfect altitude for cruising and sight seeing.
In the distance, a large mountain can be seen, surrounded by forests. And high above the clouds the foundations of a tower can be seen on the mountain.
However, there's plenty of interesting things below the clouds. Like a large cluster of dragons that are all grouped together in a clearing.

Mimi laughs as Riss stumbles. "You gotta watch where you're step." The pixie grins. "Did you hear what I was saying? I wanted to know if you had any enhancements." She thinks she kind of understands, but an example would help a lot.

Nothing I can't handle, Dipsnig says confidently. This army doesn't look like the kind to be lax with security, though.

[Thessaloniki - Bathouse]

Wenomir deflects the vibro-blade with a quick sweep of his own weapon, taking a step backwards as he does so. Immediately afterwards, he produces an adamantine throwing knife from his bandolier and sends it flying at the wyvern's belly with a quick movement of his wrist.

[Hattish Thing]

Marty manages to somehow piece together what Drift was saying through the cold, pain, and wind. He gently checks her pockets for anything he could find. He was in much worse condition than Sleet it seemed, but he was still a mostly kind person, albeit not too friendly around certain kinds of people. He didn't like Sleet, but he was on her side this time. He sighs, S-Sleet....y-you Ok? H-Here... He offers her a small napkin. Just enough to wipe the blood out of her eyes. Marty didn't receive any facial injuries, he most likely will never use his mangled foot again, and it's entirely logical he'll receive a permanent injury from the massive chest wound. He can't hear much, and can barely see anything now.He shivers in the cold.

No, you just said the word once and appeared to be asking about them. Use more words next ti-Oh damn doesn't that make me a hippocrite? While the answer was simple enough, just saying 'yes' would probably invite all kinds of questions as to what each was and what each did. Unfortunately, Riss didn't have very many that were blatant in their overall display when in use so this limited her selection by quite a bit. Unless, of course, she decided to go drink poison or something but that would just be highly unpleasant until her filtration systems removed the toxins. Plus, she wasn't very keen on the idea of self-mutilation and she doubted that white blood surrogate would be all that impressive to the pixie anyway, given that it didn't exactly show it's function by the color.

There were others but there was one that would probably be the most useful given the rather knotted root systems that were rising from the ground. Though intended for low/zero gravity environments, fiddling with a few settings and supplying a little more energy would be more than enough to compensate. Really, beyond the initial 'repulsion,' which was a terrible misnomer given that it just centered a point of attraction in a person's center mass with just enough 'pull' to negate the local effects of gravity, there would be no need for additional power given that inertia and mass would be the only real factors that had to be dealt with.

So, a quick moment later and Riss would gently push off the ground with the very tips of her toes so as to not jerk Imp's chain with her upward acceleration. A moment of hovering would follow but then quickly end with a bit of a start as the muse shut the system down while still about a half-meter in the air. A soft landing later concluded the whole demonstration. "Yes. To answer your question, I mean." Riss said. Hopefully that would be enough to stem some of the questions at least.

"Ooh, that's cool." Mimi is impressed, despite her own ability to fly much more effectively than that. Surely by now her curiosity has been quenched. Right?

"Can I see where you live? And where you build stuff?" The pixie seems thrilled by the idea.

Well.. That didn't seem like it would cause much harm.

But.. Well.. That would involve...

Of course, she was gonna see the general area anyway and it wasn't as if Magtok would care if she came in with a pixie or whatever Mimi was. He hadn't appeared to care when she left but that was to be expected. Yeah, Mimi would probably not be important enough for Magtok to notice.

Still.. Well, as long as it was just the work area, that would be fine, right? Riss felt apprehensive at the idea as could be told from the small but notable motions of restlessly tapping fingers and the light chewing on the edge of her lip. "Well.. Um... I don't see any reason to say 'no'"

"Great, I can't wait to see." =D Mimi is excited. It's probably all cool and awesome and stuff. And look at that, that seems to have satisfied the pixie. She's suddenly focused on getting them out of the woods where Riss can find the rest of the way back.

"So... what exactly is perplexing to you? We asked for Inside, they didn't want to deal with the idea, so we're going to the next step over their head and holding a Council Meeting."

"I thought Inside was off the agenda. I mean, it's not like we can trust people like Clarissa to not **** up anything like that if we do, and the moment they think they can do whatever they want because AMEN has more power, we immediately lose that power and just get tangled up in a huge mess of drama and BS."

Magtok doesn't exactly have a very high opinion of Dave's wife, it seems. She's not the only one, of course, but she's the only one Magtok thinks Ilpholin wouldn't mind hearing some rather harsh criticism towards. Gods only know what she sees in Becky.

"That's assuming we win anything, though. The Council is full of stupid idiots who will hear the first syllable of 'AMEN' and then start babbling incoherently in fright. I could've maybe given you a list of the reps and you could work your way through them, one by one until you get a majority, but you also went and said tomorrow for the Council thing. How are we supposed to win here?"

An easily manipulated minion is what Ilpholin sees in Becky.

"If we get it? No need to tell AMEN right away, is there? How we're supposed to win? We present an argument in regards to our capability and the benefits of doing so. If they wish to flail in fright and ignore what we have to offer without considering it, so be it, but I don't intend to rig the vote over time either. That was Gordon's strategy."
