Angus waits until the serpents are about 35 feet away and gives a great, deep, penetrating shout and points his finger at the beasts (casting Sound Burst), then moves back another twenty feet.

You manage to hit both of them. Having characteristics of fish your attack is more effective against them, doing (2d6)[7] damage to the first and (2d6)[8] damage to the second, stunning both of them.

Crank another bolt into the crossbow and attempt to finish off the one that seems the most damaged. (1d20+2)[15], (1d8)[1].

The bolt hits snake number 2. You probably have time for one more shot.

You hit the last snake right between the eyes, killing it. Note: The heads of the spiders and fish snakes were what the alchemist wanted. You don't have to carry the whole things out.

Angus wipes his brow and spends a minute or so in thoughtful meditation while stroking his beard. He then retrieves his sword and carefully harvests the heads of the snakefish and spiders, and begins to look around for the mushrooms.

As you walk into the woods you see movement in front of you. Behind you there is a scream and you see three goblins behind you. They are brandishing daggers, and are wearing standard goblin armor covered with markings with a full head scarves that have similar markings. Roll initiative.

both blows glance off your armor, the lithe on almost being stabbed in the foot by the richochet. The goblins armor protects him from being cut in half, but not much else. He is smacked against a tree and lays still. The last one comes in.

Your swing misses, just as another goblin comes out of the brush from in front of you, this one with a javelin. The burly one attacks, followed by the one that just got here. (1d20+2)[13]
    (1d6)[6]
the goblin hulrs the javelin at you.

Angus takes the javelin right in the chest, and even though it bounced off his armor, it will certainly leave a mark. He takes a step tot he side so as not to be flanked, and makes a slash for the nearest conscious goblin. (1d20+6)[18], (2d6+2)[10].

(the first goblin you hit is dead. You also got 1500 XP from the spiders and snake fish) You deal a nasty blow to the muscular goblin. The small one then attacks, (1d20+2)[3] (1d6)[6] followed by the large one [roll]1d20+2[/roll]=12 [roll]1d6[/roll]=2 and another javelin from the fourth goblin. (1d20+3)[5] (1d4)[2]

Angus laughs at the ineptness of the goblins, and keeps up his mowing operation, picking his targets by proximity and stepping out of anything that would let him be flanked. (1d20+6)[17], (2d6+2)[8].

The big one is down and with you removing half of his everything it doesn't look like he is getting up. A small bag he had at his side is also cut open and you see the purple and yellow mushrooms. The small one attacks again (1d20+2)[5] (1d6)[3] while the one with the javelin starts digging around in a pack.

Surprisingly, you missed. The small goblin attacks again [roll]1d20+2[/roll} =7 (1d6)[4] and the one with the javelin throws something at you, hitting you square in the chest. Surprisingly, it doesn't hurt, but is quite pleasurable. The small ones elongated face is quite hilarious in fact.

The goblin misses, and so do you. For some reason he is now normal size but has the face of a pretty lass and is offering you beer. Attack again (1d20+2)[21] (1d6)[1]
