    Name: Lamianos Vespertilio Angelos

    Race: Earth/Chimera (Bat/Pony fusion)

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: Lamianos has a cutie mark showing a skull cringing, showing his affinity with inducing fear in his opponets.

    Virtue: Honesty. Lamianos is an honorable pony, he prefers to fight real warriors in real combat instead of sneak about like a coward. He is not a fan of fighting non combatants but is not above using them for experimentation, they are not trained to fight but that does not give them the right to avoid helping the greater good of Equestria. His rather knightly ways do have a breaking point when it comes to sneak attacking a enemy base that would easily over run them if they were prepared, he won't particularly like it but he will gladly grumble over a stealth mission rather then take several bullets to the face.

    Appearance: Due to his involvement in Project Chimera Lamianos is a fusion between a pale gaunt bat and a vicious black stallion. His skin is pale, with his fur just as snowy white. His eyes are a bloody red, his pupils barely visible beneath the drowning pool of blood that is his eyes. His teeth are sharp and curved with two large fangs in the front. His man is the same lush black it was before he was turned. He is a burly and muscular stallion, throwing off the sickly weak appearance his pale fur and skin give away. Finally on his back are two large bat like wings with the same pale white skin and fur on them, the flesh in between the wing fingers are easily seen through and show many veins.

    Faction: Ex- Steel Ranger. He was kicked out after being turned into a Chimera and branded a "Freak" since then he's turned to raiding and slavery to survive and continue his experimentations. Despite all this he seeks out a home in the Reapers, the one gang of miscreants he knows he can find acceptance in, no matter how monstrous he may seem.

    Skills: As is to be expected of any Steel Ranger, present or former, Lamianos is an avid weapons expert. He is particularly fond of Heavy grade weapons such as Miniguns or Flamers. He also likes close combat in the form of battle spikes that he has learned to brawl with. He is adept at causing fear in his opponets, especially in interrogations. He has also taken to sweet talking people into giving him what he wants after practicing it on his fellow Knights in the Steel Rangers. Lastly, his involvement in Project Chimera has made him far stronger and durable then most other earth ponies, allowing his new form to take more of a beating then most others (Despite the pale and fragile appearance it has).

    Equipment: A black and red suit of power armor that is in need of a bit of repairs. The power armor is equipped with the standard gear, special made holster to hold his Minigun (Also in need of a bit of repairs, but it's definetely functional). The suit also holds several bits of medicine and drugs to be pumped into his system on command. The suit seems to be modified at home to allow his wings to fit through them, with said wings being armored from spare bits lying around. The armor has several spikes on it that show signs of blood on them.

    Virtue:Magic

    Appearance: A brown stallion with grey hair and a few knicks hidden by his ragtag armor/coverall clothing. Almost always seen wearing his brimmed stormchaser hat and goggles. Everything about him scream scavenger, a profession that's going to turn his hair pink before it should.

    Faction: Independent, in that many factions don't like him for selling to others unless they want something from him.

    Skills: Small Arms, lockpicking, first aid, science, barter
    Secondary: Literature, Accounting, Politics
    Spells: Telekinesis, light, focus (a spell that makes him temporarily a crack-shot while exhausting his magic quickly, less so for its non-combat uses)

    Traits: Phobia-Alicorns
    Perks: Mister B- Seems to always be protecting foals, getting good at it
    Mage - Magic 'reserves' increase the farther you are from harmonic neutral. Interesting effects on what spells he can learn.

    Equipment: Nope

    Bio: Real name Leaky Pen, Finder came into his nickname at some point in New Appleoosa due to a couple of successful scavenging trips at a young age. His time previous is something that he keeps to himself, however he has since moved on to try to find the lost histories and teachings of Old Equestria. Finder then sells them to interested parties, after copying what he can. The unicorn doesn't care enough to try to confront the rumor that he keeps the originals of what he finds in a stash somewhere.

    Name: Heimdalr

    Race: Hippogriff (when a pony and a griffon love each other very much...)

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent:
    Because Heimdalr isn't a full-blooded pony he lacks a cutie mark and a special talent. There are some things he's still quite skilled at, but he has no magical connection to any of them.

    Virtue: Loyalty. Like many griffons Heimdalr has a strong sense of loyalty and honor. He's still young enough to be rather idealistic and his somewhat unusual genesis has lead him to occasionally be quite rash in his desire to prove that he can perform just as well as any griffon. He honors code, contract, and caps. In that order. While Heimdalr would be unwilling to break a contract his code dictates the types of contracts he's willing to accept in the first place.

    Appearance: In terms of body-shape Heimdalr is built much like a pony with the addition of a lion-like tail, eagle talons on his front legs, and an eagle's beak replacing much of his muzzle. His coat is an ivory-white and his mane 'n tail brownish blond. The mane in particular has a rather feathered appearance. His eyes are a dark amber color. He sports a unicorn horn due to his mother's lineage. However, he lacks wings. A fact that his peers are all too happy to remind him of.

    Faction: The Talons. Heimdalr operates out of the Talon stronghold of Shatteredhoof as many of the other griffons do. Aside from that he aligns himself with whoever he happens to be contracted to at the time.

    Skill: As is to be expected of any of the Talons Heimdalr is skilled in combat, particularly melee combat using a pair of Hellhound Claw Glaives. He's quite adept at Alteration magic, focusing on personal augmentation. Using the wings his magic can temporarily grant him Heimdalr has practiced his flying skills intensively with a fervor born of proving his worth. His perceptiveness and insight allows him to pick up on details often missed by others. Finally he's quite good with Defensive magic, particularly ward spells.

    Equipment: A healthy collection of potions and first-aid equipment is kept in Heimdalr's saddlebags along with a semi-automatic pistol and its ammo for backup. A reasonable supply of caps is ferreted away in there somewhere as well. He carries a transmitter for the purpose of long-range communication and his Talon armor is in fine repair and condition. A home-made parascope helps to peer around corners without getting shot in the face. Above all his most prized possessions are a pair of Hellhound Claw Glaives (disc, not polearm), weapons that had once belonged to his father.

    Race: Earth pony. Mostly...

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: The cutie mark is kept hidden, but she definitely has a gift for making and using explosives.

    Virtue: While she does not often associate with others, if you could make friends with her she would be very loyal. Of course, she is very shy and avoids making friends...

    Appearance: Forest green with a dark green mane that she always hangs to her right, and she has bright red eyes. Beyond that, she has leafy vines growing in her mane and tail and some leaves growing on the rest of her body. For the most part, she arranges these leaves to cover her cutie mark.

    Faction: None. She lives alone, in the middle of the Everfree forest. The animals avoid her, and she doesn't seem to mind the Killing Joke...

    Skills: Incredible stealth ability, can even move at a full gallop without making a sound. On the other hand, she can't seem to make a lot of noise in general. Beyond that, she has knowledge (learned the hard way) about herbs, fruits, creatures, and surviving in the forest. There is definitely something else going on here, as she should probably be dead several times over by now...

    Equipment: Saddlebags with survival essentials. You know, twine, grenades, food, fuses, water, dynamite, medicine, black powder, a lighter, explosives...

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: No cutie mark yet! She's still trying to earn it. She's okay at stealth flying, though!

    Virtue: Kindness

    Appearance: A small, young foal, seven years old. Eledhwen is quite skinny and bony, and has frail wings. She doesn't eat very much, so she's especially small, even for a little Her skin is light gray. The pegasus is small for her age. She usually has a smile on her face. She's got a wild pixie cut, and her hair is black and white. She doesn't have a cutie mark yet.

    Faction: ...She's seven years old. She's been living in the Everfree forest ever since her parents were killed by Raiders.

    Skills: Eledhwen is trying to learn to fly, and is getting the basics of it. She can be very sneaky when he needs to. She's also quite a fast runner, though not very strong. She doesn't have very many skills, as she's so young.

    Equipment: A small saddlebag with a bag of oats and a full metal waterbottle. She wears a siiple neclace with a piece of jade sgaped like a crescent moon on the end, given to her by her parents before they died.

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A pip-buck with a blue-colored screen with a 3 triangle crosshair on it, he actually got it just as he left the stable

    Virtue: Undiscovered, but his life in the stable suggested a tilt between Generosity and Loyalty in some way, as he's pretty protective of his friends and is prone to going out of his way to help others and do whatever he sees as the right thing.

    He was born in Stable 54, his dad (an unicorn) was a doctor and his mom (a pegasus) was a scientists, but she died on birth. His life there was pretty calm: he was friends with the overmare's daughter, he usually hanged around his dad...And kept hearing the general warnings on not to approach the stable door

    Stable 54 was ruled by a dictatorial overmare, which was implemented after some survey robots supposedly went outside and found that everything was completely destroyed.... But the mutations were exagerated to their extreme: a robot was "destroyed by a tree that got mutated into a giant tentacle, the mutation only required a dose of a rad in a second to occur"..... At least that was the story the stable ponies where told.

    But one day, Luka's father escaped the vault without any explanation and the whole stable went into alarm, the overmare ordered the guards to hunt down the doctor's son out of fear that he might go outside for his father, but her daughter intervened and helped the colt out, giving him her mother's pistol and the password for the Stable door, suspecting the outside wasn't as terrifying as they were told.

    The colt did in fact escape, noticing that radiation wasn't as severe as the supposed survey said, then started a quest for finding his father.

    a blue pegasus colt with a black mane and tail, around 14, he's somewhat tall and his wings are longer than usual, working out better at maneuvering and acceleration than speed

    Faction:Ex-stable 54, now a wanderer of the wastes. The stable had an implemented xenophobia and extreme fear for radiation poisoning, however, Luka's dad coul verify that radiation wasn't as extreme as the belief and escaped without telling him, only leaving a note telling his son to not follow, this made the overmare send guards to hunt the colt, but he escaped too, with the help of a friend.

    Skills: Pretty good with guns, especially rifle-like (shotguns included), both energy and firearms, also knows how to use barding (except power armor), he's a gun-nut.
    He also learned a few things from his dad about medicine and healing, gaining some little knowledge in science, from both him and the stable

    Pipbuck V3.0A: He was given it on his 10th birthday, like everypony else in the stable, it's been really usefull for him, and it's modular, allowing for upgrades and additional modules

    BB Rifle: a birthday present he learned to shoot stuff with it, he loves it

    10mm pistol: the overmare's daughter gave it her mother's pistol to help him escape form the guards, and it helped more than expected Taken away by Old Appleloosan slavers

    .45 Colt revolver: previously owned by Shadow Stride; found on her corpse while escaping from Old Appleloosa, it's custom model, onyx black, with silver filigree and Old Equestrian engravings along the barrel, has a red laser sight beneath the barrel, and the handle/bit has been modified to fit more comfortably and smoothly in a pony's mouth. At the bottom of the handle the title "Lux Nocturna" is engraving in flowing silver script; it is Old Equestrian for "Light of Night."

    Sex: No, although she has considered it from time to time.

    Personality: Quite optimistic, keeping high spirits even in dark times. She's most strongly connected to the virtue of Laughter. She's also quite willing to get herself into trouble, seeing getting out as an entertaining challenge. Ultimately, she's got a sharp wit and a strong desire to put it to use.

    Appearance: A unicorn with a purple coat, a pale blue mane and tail, blue eyes and a toolkit cutie mark. She seems to be in her mid-to-late teens, even if she's a little small for her age. She tends to wear dark clothing, the occasional jewellery, and a fez.

    Faction: None. She has her own agenda and is no one's follower.

    Skills: Night Jewel has a variety of skills to help her with trickery. Her speciality is working with mechanisms, meaning she can sabotage contraptions with ease, and is also quite good at repairing them. In addition, she has some skill in stealth, acrobatics, swimming and climbing, making it easy for her to get past many obstacles. Her magic tends to be on the subtle side as well, focused on darkness and illusions. She's not much of a fighter, but can usually outwit or evade foes instead.

    Equipment: Her most important possessions are her tools. She has a variety of things suited for delicate mechanical work, such as picking locks. In addition, she usually carries food, water, gemstones of various types, poisoned knives, writing equipment, rope, and other objects that might come in handy.

    Relationships: She has lost contact with most of her former allies, but maintains some relationships of note. She is fond of Bauhaus, has a condescending fondness for Eledwhen, cautiously respects Pineapple Blast, and sees Lamianos as a major threat.

    Race: Unicorn pony - half-way to becoming a ghoul
    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: Amethyst's cutie mark still clings to her flank, even though many patches of fur don't anymore; a circle made up of black and white swirling lines.
    Virtue: Honesty
    Appearance: While Amethyst retains most of her ponyhood, the onset of ghouldom is now very visible. While some ponies hit by blasts of magical radiation are transformed into ghouls immediately, others carry it with them like a cancerous sickness. Amethyst is the latter. She used to be able to hide the patches of bare, rotted skin under a cape and a bandana around her neck, it's now too far gone. The fur on and around her muzzle has fallen off, as has her tail and a large part of her mane. Her right foreleg barely has any fur at all. What remains of her fur is a faded dark purple; her mane charcoal-grey. She still wears her old cape, though: a faded and dirty white scrap of fabric that was a dress before the war.
    Faction: Ex-Stable 16.
    Skills: Powerful beguiling magic: Amethyst Dazzle can weave elaborate fantasies, and make ponies see what they want to see. Because of her Honest nature, though, she hates using it and will only use it in very dire situations. Because she grew up in a Stable she's more skilled with technology than most, but don't expect her to go hacking into any ministry databanks. Because of necessity, she's skilled with non-magical weapons.
    Equipment: PipBuck m3.5k; a couple dozen caps; an assault riffle with a fair amount of ammo and a revolver starting to run dry on ammo; 2 frag grenades; two bottles of Sparkle Cola and a bag of carrot chips; saddlebag; one magical bandage.
    Backstory: Amethyst's role in the Stable, handed to her by the tyrannical over-mare, was to use her Beguiling magic to keep ponies who might protest their conditions. While there were no sources of entertainment, very few different foodstuffs (hay for breakfast, hay for lunch, oats and hay for dinner) and cramped quarters, Amethyst and four other unicorns were part of the Moral Preservation Team. Together they kept the occupants of Stable 16 in a state of semi-trance, going through their lives believing they were in a pre-war paradise. Amethyst hated her job. She watched ponies starve blissfully, ignored accidents that cost the lives of other ponies simply because they were not aware of them.

    Eventually, Amethyst had enough. She used her powers to lull the guards into a sleeping state and broke out.

    The Wasteland was worse than any of the propaganda she'd heard. Amethyst found herself on the outskirts of what her Pupbuck identified as White Tail Woods. The air and magic residue that hung in the area made her feel sick. She fled away from the forest, only stopping when she found the beach to the west. She followed it up to the remains of Bridal Shores, then further north to Vanhoover.

    That was fifty years ago.

    Since then she's been travelling the wasteland, mostly following what's left of the railways. She occasionally makes friends and has travelling companions, but they rarely stick around for long once they realize her ghoulish nature.

    Race: Earth Pony

    Cutie Mark: Three rocks. If one were to look closer, you'd see that they are rock salt. He's always been skilled at finding salts.

    Virtue: Harmonious Kindness. Even at his worst, his virtue was kindness. Of course, that meant mooching off the kindness of strangers. He now feels the need to make up for it.

    Appearance: A thin, Maroon pony, who still vaguely resembles a junkie. His black mane and tail are both very short, and very ragged, as if he cut them himself with a shard of glass.

    Faction: Salt considers himself a card carrying member of 'The Followers of the Pink Angel' and will preach for hours to anyone who wants to hear and even to those who don't.

    Skills: 1) Mining 2) Evoking Pity (Persuasion) 3) Melee combat 4) Preaching 5) Petty Theft

    Equipment: An old Miner's saddle, with the sort of equipment you'd expect to find. Helmet, light, pickaxe (With a curious red stain on the end...), medium sized lumps of unrefined salt, some small pieces of refined salt, some Rad Away and a few loose caps. The only two unusual things in his pack are a small glass shiv and a small necklace shaped vaguely like a pink pair of wings.

    Salt Pick's story isn't that unusual for the Wasteland. A miner born and raised, his job was scouting out perspective mining sites. Eventually, he found that taking salt was just as fun as finding it, and soon he was homeless, capless, and two steps away from being stabbed and robbed.
    He resolved to end his own sorry life (And prevent his junkie 'buddies' from getting his stuff) and set out into the desert to kill himself. After wandering aimlessly for a few hours, he eventually found a spot, and sat down to die when a funny thing happened. An old mare sat next to him and began to ramble. At first, Salt thought she was just another junkie, but he began to listen to her story.
    The mare told him that the world was a sinful place, and had been for a long time, and there was very little goodness left in it. Yet, there was hope. The Pink Angel. The pink angel appeared as foal on a quest, and where ever she went she brought goodness back into the world. Salt Pick sat, memorized by the mare's words.
    After the mare finished speaking, long into the night and the next morning, she laid down and died. Salt Pick buried her right there, only taking her necklace. He then set out into the wasteland, a new hope and purpose in his life.

    Faction: None, unless you count the wilderness itself.

    Faction: I prefer movin' around solo, but I ain't beneath joining a club if it means some quick Bits or pretty ladies.

    Skills: I like to think I possess me a savvy silver tongue, and I ain't so bad with getting the most out of a Cap. I do prefer to stay out of a fight and in the shadows, because really, why would I want to damage such good looks? My agility is very helpful in keeping my my face beautiful and my fine flank intact. Though, if I have no choice but to enter some silly physical squabble, I'm no chump when it comes to my hooves.

    Equipment A little nosy are we? Well, I like you, so I'll divulge. You see my lovely dress cuffs? Well those little babies come equipped with a nice little handy dandy magical dome barrier when I activate them, nicked them off some zebra who was quite the dapper enchanter. Sometimes a buck to the head just ain't enough, so I have me my silenced 10 mm pistol, ain't the most impressive piece of weaponry, but it gets the job done most of the time.

    In my saddle bags I have my caps, food, water, some memory orbs I've decided to borrow for keeps, potions, a box of ammo for my gun, odds and ends, you never know what some poor sap may trade for all their Caps.

    Background:
    Frankly, I don't really know much about it, kinda feels like somepony stole my memories, there's just a large chunk of my past I really don't know about. Most of my memories begin around six years ago, no mum, no dad, an older teenager doin' what he had to do to survive. It wasn't until four years ago I landed me a sweet mamacita with lots of Caps who lived in Tenpony Tower. She was a decade older than me, but still hot and very experienced, I didn't mind being her boy toy if it meant living in the lap luxury. One day she upped and died one day in a freak accident outside of Tenpony Tower in the Manehatten ruins. I have no idea what she was doing out there, but, all her assets went to me. So, here was I, a young stud muffin among stallions, single, in a fancy pants residence filled with bored rich mares. You can probably see where I'm going with this. Unfortunately my antics caught up with me and several husbands weren't so happy like I made their wives.

    I..I don't know what happened last night but I was then framed for a crime I know I didn't commit, and soon after I was kicked out, though not before grabbing all the funds I could stash away, and whelp, here I am now in the present.

    There was...one memory however from a long time ago that I have....an image of a stallion, who kinda looked like me, but older, looking down at me with a smile. He wore an amulet with the image of the 'all seeing eye'. And that's it, the only memory of my distant past.

    Ah well, this is all I'm going to tell you about myself, maybe I'll tell you more when we meet. Au revoir.

    Race: Griffon

    Virtue: To be discovered really, the Wastelands can make ya lose sight of your virtue after all.

    Appearance: She's a tall strong weathered griffon with eyes who have seen and lost too much. Her bottom half is of a light orange-brown shade, her head feathers a standard white with grey tips at the end, both eyes sporting light purple colored circles around them. She seemed to be a perpetual angry-frowner and smiles rarely. The stoic with a sadness in them. She wears a chest plate armor piece.

    Faction: None, solo mercenary for her own reasons, mostly bodyguard work.

    Skills: Two clawed (handed) guns, particularly sniper rifles. Claw to claw combat is thing. Essentially combat and survival are what she is skilled in. Useful tools for a solo mercenary along with a bit of medical knowledge. Self sufficient would be a word to describe her.

    Equipment: A sniper rifle slung on and over her back, a double barrel shot gun slung on her back, and her beloved, The Splitter, a .44 magnum. Food rations and some water, caps, various small tools, medical supplies, and a haphazardly made necklace made of bottle caps, don't touch.

    Personality: She comes off as fierce and be be quite so. She is a protector and has chosen being a bodyguard for personal reasons. There seems to be a motherly tenderness that shows up from time to time though rare. One thing about her is that she does not charge for her services, but, only she chooses who she will protect.

    Personality - Whisper is a curious pony, always looking around with wide eyes and an eager bounce in her step. She has a vicious streak of sarcasm to her though, although she usually keeps it to herself.

    Virtue - Magic. Whisper picks up spells faster than you could believe, her mind easily comprehending and rebuilding spells as they fly, and quickly comprehending how to fire them right back. In her spare time, she redesigns and manipulates the spells for her own amusement, merely wanting to "Make it right."

    "It's for the good of the Stable, Wis."

    She'd heard that a lot. It was always for the good of the Stable. Everything was always for the good of the Stable.

    Especially when it came to Whisper. When it came to the small filly, it seemed that everything was for the Good Of The Stable. Whether it was how she was shifted from parent to parent like a present that keeps getting passed on, or how the colts in her class teased her about her mane, it was for the Good Of The Stable. The Overmare had explained that to her on the day when Whisper had simply skipped her classes, and went straight down to the basement levels, and past those to the sub-basement ones.

    Whisper liked the sub-basement levels. Nobody ever went down there, for some reason. But it was her special place, where she went to get away from the laughter and mockery of her classmates.

    "Lagging Lisper" is what they were calling her now. She was the only member of the class to not have a Cutie Mark - and she'd tried harder than any of them! Really! She'd done every possible job she could think of, every possible job that the adults could think of, and she still didn't have her Cutie Mark! It wasn't fair. Why did Piercing Sunshine get her Cutie Mark before her, when stupid Piercing's was a quill! Piercing wasn't that good at writing! Okay, sure everyone followed Piercing's magazines, and her stories, but still!

    The filly had sat alone in the darkness, crying softly as shadowy tendrils flickered towards and away from her in the faint light of the sub-basement levels. Not fair not fair not fair

    "Hello, my little pony."

    The small filly jumped, her head slowly looking towards the voice with a sense of dread. The Overmare was not a nice pony, and she seemed to have it out for Whisper in particular. The Overmare was youngish, with average features and an average height. She had an average voice and an average color. Her mane and tail were as average as could be, and her Cutie Mark was so average that it seemed to not register with anyone.

    "H-h-hello Miss Overmare miss! I wasn' doin' anything wrong!"

    The Overmare let out a cold chuckle, and Whisper flinched away, her skin crawling at the sheer malice that was in the Overmare's voice.

    "Apart from wandering around the Sub-Basement levels, no. You are aware of how illegal that is, are you not?"

    Whisper gulped.

    "In fact, I think I have the perfect punishment for it."

    oh no oh no oh no oh no

    "You, Whisper, will be assigned to the sub-basement levels for the rest of your life. To work alone in the dark forever."

    The filly looked at the Overmare with wide eyes, tears slowly brimming inside of them.

    "You will never know companionship. You will never know love. You will never understand happiness. You will be here."

    The tears began to fall.

    "And no matter what happens... no matter how bad it gets... you will never. Ever. Escape."

    The Overmare turned away, throwing only a PipBuck with a bizarre swirl attached to it behind her, her cruel voice saying simply, "This is your new friend Whisper. I hope you like him, because he's the only one you'll ever have!"

    The filly picked up the PipBuck, and shakily slid it onto her leg. It didn't fit at all, covering almost her entire leg, but she would work with it.

    She stood up, immediately falling over thanks to the new weight, and cringed, waiting for the inevitable laughter.

    And when no laughter came, she smiled.

    Over time, Whisper found out an awful lot about the Sub-Basement Levels. It was rather peculiar how they kept food storage so deep down, and even stranger how no one ever seemed to come to look at it. It was also bizarre how many computers there were, with nobody using them.

    But Whisper liked the Sub-Basement Levels. The only problem she had with it was the Dark.

    The Dark was not a tangible thing, no, it was merely the inky tendrils of black that appeared wherever she went, whenever the lights flickered. Sometimes the Dark spoke to her, told her things. Terrible things. About the war, about the other ponies in the Stable, and about herself.

    But the Dark gave her a single gift, just once, when she'd only been down for a year or two. She'd been searching for a place to sleep, and cried out in pain as her foot kicked something that she was sure wasn't there a minute ago. Looking down, it was a strange... block... thing. Curled at the end with two happy eyes, Whisper boggled at if for a moment. Whisper tentatively picked it up, and the world seemed so much clearer. Everything was organized, it had its place. And Whisper's place was not down in the Sub-Basement Levels.

    She knew of a way out through the Sub-Basement Levels. The way was through a massive locked door, that never seemed to open or change. She never saw anypony here, and she never expected anypony to do anything to the door.

    Until the knock came, and the door opened. And when Whisper stepped out to see who it was, nopony was there. As she tentatively walked out, she screamed as a blast of light smashed into her, after years of darkness and solitude. She fell to the ground, writhing as she squeezed her eyes shut, just wanting it to go away and leave her alone. But they jumped open faster then anything when she heard a massive slam. She was immediately on her feet, and turning around, already knowing and dreading the outcome. But the instant she turned, her mouth fell to the ground.

    You see, Stable 13 was a different sort of Stable. A social experiment of a different variety.

    Stable 13 was not built as an underground bunker, but as an ironclad fortress. What Whisper had wandered in for years were not the Sub-Basement Levels, but the Ground Floor. It was an awesome feat of magical might. Stable 13 had never been touched by Earth Ponies until the time where people had poured inside; it had been built entirely by magic. Stable 2 had a saying - "Nopony ever goes in, nopony ever goes out."

    Stable 13 had a different saying. "Nopony ever leaves magic, nopony ever forgets magic."

    It was rather hard to forget a massive, pseudo-invisible fortress that seemed to flicker between a demonic castle and a simple bunker. But when Whisper tried to touch the door again, to go back inside, where it was safe and normal and there was no light burning her alive oh Luna stop it make it stop make it go away stop it stop it stop it

    She lay on the ground for the rest of the day, and when night fell, she felt a sense of relief. The vile light was dead and gone, and she could move again.

    She was not pleased when it returned. But she learned to cope with it.


    Appearance - Whisper is small for her age, with a set of eerie green eyes that seem to almost shine faintly in the darkness. She is light blue in color, and her mane is a strange mixture of the lightest shade of violet, with a single jagged strike of red slicing through it. She wears her mane in a simplistic manner, half of it covering one of her eyes, but it's clearly fallen into disarray. The ragged edges of it seem to line up with the lightning bolt, but she couldn't care less. The PipBuck on her left leg is of the usual make, but its clearly been well-used; the thing's covered in scratches and has a strange attachment on it, a curious spiral shape that rapidly revolves through the six colors of the Elements. Her tail is much like her mane, jagged and violet, but with a streak of blue running through it instead of red.

    Faction - Ex-Stable.

    Equipment -

    Ol' Reliable - A pistol that Whisper has extensively modified. The thing is damn near automatic at this point, and it seems she can channel her destruction spells through the gun and use that as ammunition instead of bullets, at the price of accuracy.

    Stable 13 Armored Suit - The Stable suit Whisper was wearing when she first entered the Wasteland, with armor covering key points on it. Whisper loves the suit with a passion, even if it seems to have gone through quite a bit of wear and tear.

    Cowboy Hat - Whisper seems to never remove her brown cowboy hat, and she'll viciously fight anypony who tries to remove her precious hat.

    Goggles - A set of orange tinted goggles with a leather inlay, Whisper has them hooked onto her hat, able to easily clip them on whenever she needs them. She mainly uses them for when she's repairing or modifying her only gun, or fiddling with magic she probably shouldn't be.

    Block Thing - A thing that Whisper found in Stable 13. It looks incredibly strange, and yet she keeps on her person at almost all times.

    Perks -

    Magical Comprehension: Rank I - A Wisp of Knowledge: You understand the flow of magic better than most, and can follow and comprehend it with little to no effort. You can learn up to five spells from an opponent and use them at your own discretion.

    Conjuration: Rank I - Clock is Ticking: Your conjuration skills often leave people wanting. You seem to be able to do the conjuring just fine - but keeping the item around for more than a minute? That's utterly beyond you.

    Telekinesis: Rank I - Curiouser and Curiouser: Your telekinetic skills are slightly above average, but only ever so slightly.

    Name: Nails.

    Sex: Not yet, and quite probably never.

    Talent: Carpentry. He can craft a wide variety of useful things out of wood, repair wooden objects, or do other wood-related things.

    Virtue: Loyalty. He's got a sense of honour about him, and would only betray someone who betrayed his ideals first. He's somewhat reluctant to face danger, and has a strong sarcastic streak, but you can count on him to support you when you need it while making snide little quips about the ordeals you're facing.

    Appearance: A solidly-built earth pony stallion of around 18 with a brown coat, a short black mane and tail, sharp orange eyes and a hammer cutie mark. His preferred outfit is a blue vest where he keeps spare tools.

    Faction: None yet; he's looking for a sane one.

    Skills: Aside from carpentry, Nails is a fairly good fighter. While he lacks traditional weapons, he can do some serious damage with a saw, hammer or screwdriver.

    Equipment: He always carries his trusty hammer with him, along with other carpentry tools and a nail-shooting gun.

    Race: Unicorn with much Pegasus ancestry, faintly descended from Bat Ponies.

    Cutie Mark: A book, its pages open to show red letters on the outside.

    Virtue: Loyalty, although it is on the border of being Discordant.

    Appearance: There is an inside and an outside.
    Outside (what every pony sees most of the time): A pure white colt, about thirteen years old. Is very serious-looking most of the time. His mane is slightly yellow but mostly white, and his tail is as well. His eyes are pure blue. Looks somewhat handsome. His horn is silver.
    Inside (what he is really, and when his illusion falters): An incredibly scarred, starving-thin colt, whose tail is almost cut off and whose mane is full of grey dust. What little natural coat color there is left appears to be grey, and his mane is naturally black. His left eye is swollen shut, but his right eye is an impressive green. His horn is shorter than it should be, and it is silver in color.

    Faction: He aspires to be a member of the Twilight Society.

    Skills: He is incredibly skilled at illusion and beguilement magic, having trained in them since he was two. He knows very much about the geography of Equestria. He also is skilled at defensive magic, since he needed it to survive in the wilds. Lastly, he is very apt at using just about anything as an improvised weapon.

    Equipment: A very few caps, a collection of books from before the War, a rope, a deck of cards, and a strange moon pendant from his ancestors.

    Race: Unicorn

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A red cross surrounded by green bubbles. Lifestream is a skilled physician and practitioner of medicine, both magical and mundane.

    Virtue: Kindness. Lifesteam hates to see anypony suffer, whether friend or foe. He's more than willing to use his talents to mend and heal those who are suffering. Above all else his kindness is exemplified through his love for his younger sister, Babbling Brook.

    Appearance:
    A white unicorn. His mane is red with salmon stripes. His eyes a deep emerald green. He keeps his mane and tail cut relatively short. Not much of one for frivolous clothing, he mostly just sticks with his saddle bags.

    Faction: His only loyalties at the moment are to his dear sister.

    Skill: Lifestream is a prodigy when it comes to medicine, both mundane and magical. His mind is quick and keenly diplomatic, giving him an edge when it comes to swaying the opinions of other ponies. Finally he has deep understanding of the sciences, both applied and theoretical.

    Equipment: His saddle bags are filled with food and medical supplies for the most part. Having just left his Stable not too long ago he has his PipBuck and little else.

    Name: Ebon Flame

    I'm leaving this here for curious posterity, despite the fact that this guy, while not dead, is now a part of Unity and much of this is completely irrelevant.

    Race: Unicorn

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A charred heart, wrapped in burning chains. His talent is destruction, plain and simple. He takes great pleasure in ridding the Wasteland of those that he feels it is better off without.

    Virtue: Discordant Loyalty, specifically that which binds communities and especially families together. Ebon Flame is psychologically disturbed from his history, and places little value on anything other than self-preservation and family ties. Like many characters, he kills Raiders on sight, but don't mistake that for a good deed: He loathes raiders with a fiery passion, and wants to see them all suffer in the ways that his parents did. That said, he doesn't limit this activity to Raiders, either. He has violently attacked perfectly sane ponies for transgressions that were accidental or not even understood. At times, he's little better than a raider himself. Still, there's a shred of Harmonious Loyalty left in him: He always repays his debts, and would refuse to break the trust of another individual unless it requires a transgression against his personal code. EDIT: Recent events have caused Ebon much guilt over his past actions, and that "shred" of harmonious loyalty has swollen to surprising proportions.


    Appearance: Ebon Flame's pelt was once a vibrant red, but is now stained a foul burgundy color with numerous blackened marks due to bloodstaining and occasional scorching. His blood red-streaked mane is poorly-trimmed with years of neglect, though he cuts it shorter when it begins to grow heavy or interferes with his actions. Or catches on fire.

    Faction: Ebon Flame is very much a loner, though he hails from a small town just north of the Badlands. Any modern visitors would find it little more than ruins and cinders, however.

    Skills: Ebon Flame is, first and foremost, a shockingly powerful battlemage, incredibly skilled in Destructive and Necromantic Magic. He can spew forth black flames of unnatural heat, destroy entire swathes of enemies in various creative ways, and he can drain the very vitality of his enemies to repair his own wounds. While he is not incredibly useful in most areas of Defensive and Translocation magic, his telekinesis is of a rare power, and he can maintain a personal telekinetic shield capable of stopping most low-caliber projectiles with ease. A useful side-effect of this shield is that normally invisible threats such as Slaver Moss cannot penetrate it, as small particles simple bounce off of it.

    His time alone has also made him an effective survivalist, and Ebon is usually able to find food without immense difficulty. He has developed the ability to go without sleep for long periods of time with no ill effects, though he will need to rest eventually.

    Unfortunately, all of this power has some downsides. He has difficulty making friends, even with those willing to tolerate his presence. In more subtly dangerous places, he has difficulty telling who is trustworthy or not, and has been led into traps by smooth-tongued liars before. Finally, he's developed a strong sense of arrogance, bordering on megalomania at its worst. He doesn't use guns or weapons at all if he can help it, though emergency situations are still emergency situations. Finally, he can be incredibly shortsighted. If he gets his mind set on something, he will do it regardless of the injurious consequences, collateral damage, or other disasters in his wake.

    Equipment: A pair of mundane brown saddlebags, though they do have the advantage of being fireproof. In them, he has stored away a fair number of caps, some medical supplies, and a pistol, just in case. EDIT: Since the encounter at the Hippocampus Energy Plant, Ebon now has a Marksman's Carbine and half a clip of 5.56 ammo. Not likely to be relevant, but I'll note it here anyway.

    Energy Beam (Can project fire, ice, plasma, etc.)
    Wall of Energy (Pretty much self-explanatory.)
    Energy Blast (Explodes in a radius)
    Boiling (Imparts heat to a fluid instantly. Can be used to boil water, or blood for the creative. Allows a fortitude save, though. )

    Necromantic:
    Enervation (Sucks life from one living creature and gives it to the caster. Can actually work in reverse as well if the caster wills it, so must be used carefully.)
    Starbeam (Channels some forbidden star-magic, allowing a lot of really bad things to happen. Not used unless really desperate. Basically license for Deus Ex Machina. Or Diabolus Ex Machina.)
    Voidfire (Technically also a destruction spell, Ebon can infuse magical fire with necromantic energy, causing the flames to turn an inky black and radiate an unnatural heat. Victims caught in the effect are harmed not only in body, but in soul as well. Has disturbing similarities to balefire.)

    Defensive:
    Personal Shield (Already explained, but this is where it belongs.)

    Translocation:
    Telekinesis (All unicorns without broken horns or similar have this, though Ebon Flame is strong enough to use it with little tax on his energy.)
    Teleportation (Learned by studying a Purple Alicorn during the process of doing so. Not nearly mastered, but he's at least capable of performing the effect to some degree.)

This offers numerous advantages, including effective immortality, perfect recall of not only memories attached to oneself but the rest of Unity as well, and the side bonus of being a pony race that was considered literally divine at one point. This comes with some costs though, including a major weakness to necromancy, a loss of one's previous identity (including Cutie Mark), general hatred from the rest of the wasteland, and the fact that the Goddess can override you anytime she feels like doing so.


    Perks:
    Racial Perk (Unicorn/Pegasus/Earth Pony): You're an alicorn, and thus combine the powers of all three Pony races! You can use magic as you damn well please, fly like a Pegasus at will, and shrug off injuries the same way an Earth Pony can! You have access to all magic skills except Necromancy, have unlimited flight, and gain bonuses to strength and endurance.
    Racial Perk (Blue Alicorn): In addition to the abilities bestowed by the perks of the other pony races, you gain a significant bonus to charisma due to your Godlike elegance and ethereal beauty. Furthermore, you are completely immune to further modification by Taint and the negative effects of radiation poisoning. In fact, Radiation empowers you and restores your magical reserves at an accelerated rate! As a Blue, you also have access to a rare and valuable prewar spell that has been otherwise forgotten: Invisibility.

    Star-Touched II: Your place in the machinations of Unity has granted you some significant resistance to the necromantic magic of the stars that you would otherwise be incredibly vulnerable to. You are certainly not immune to the effects of necromantic spells, but you have gained a measure of defense. (This partially balances out the negative effects of the Unity trait, but would offer an actual net boost if said trait were removed.)
    Empowered Magic: Your magic has become significantly stronger in all areas, and your pool of magical energy that you draw from to cast spells has been greatly expanded. Gain a small bonus to all magical skills, and double your maximum mana pool.

    Ah, that's much better! Now I can just write this out without that silly formatting! Let's see...

    The name's Bright Eyes. I think it's a wonderful name for a hero, don't you?

    So you want to know what I look like? I'm an earth pony. I don't have any of your wings or magic or whatever else, but I don't need them! A full third of the pony population gets on fine without them, you know! Now, as I was saying, I've got a nice strong build and a fine golden coat, with a long, rough, red-brown mane and tail and nice sky-blue eyes. My mark's a map because I like exploring.

    I like to wear a sturdy vest, a red wide-brimmed hat, a blue cloak and tough red shoes. Some of my clothes are faded from time and hardship, but they're still intact and strong! ...Come to think of it, I really should include a picture, shouldn't I!

    Now what's next? Oh, my skills? I've got a variety! Still, better to stick to what I'm best at because it'd take a while otherwise. I'm an expert at adventuring. You know, raiding tombs, questing for glory, that sort of stuff. I can handle myself in the wasteland like nopony's business, and when riled, I'm quite the fighter!

    My past is a bit lengthy to talk about, considering I've been adventuring for at least fifteen years. Besides, I'm more interested in the future anyway. Still, if you ever want to hear about a few of my adventures, I'll be happy to tell you!

    Oh! You want to know about my personality? Well, I'm a friendly, cheery type, but unlike a certain unicorn, you can trust me with your life. I've got plenty of generosity, and I'm willing to share stories and spoils from my adventures with anyone who wants. Still, I'm no pushover. You can't be an adventurer if you don't have the guts, you know! Some say I'm kind of strange, but I don't mind. I'm an accepting type.

    Now, I don't really know anything about most of these ponies except what I've read here, but I think I may have met a couple of them in the past. It's hard to keep track of so many ponies, isn't it? Still, I've been getting to know Lucky Break and Gwendolyn... Say, where's her file got to?

    What now? Possessions? Well, there's my clothes, of course, because I'd be naked otherwise, but I don't think you were referring to them. I usually carry a variety of things such as weapons for both short- and long-range combat, food and water, flint and steel, a rope and grapnel for climbing, an underwater oxygen extractor for swimming (Not that it's come up a lot in the wastes, but you never know!), mechanical tools, navigation equipment, and the occasional old artefacts I may have picked up while wandering about. It takes a good deal of strength to cart all this around, let me tell you that!

    ...I think that's it.


    Say, now that you're done, may I take over? I'd like to make a few adjustments to my own entry.

    Name: Corned Beef

    Race: Earth Pony

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: Three pepper corns. Finding and bringing out the spice in life.

    Virtue: Laughter. Corn is always ready to make the Wasteland a bit of a brighter place. While not carefree by any means he has a knack for improving everypony's mood and keeping the outlook from growing grim. He's the pillar of morale for the group and helps to prevent his friends from crumbling into the despondency foisted upon so many by the Wasteland.

    Appearance: A large earth pony stallion with a dark red coat and a whitish grey mane. His eyes are dark brown.

    Faction: Team Ruben Sandwich GO!

    Primary Skills: Speech, Survival, Melee, Earth Pony Strength, Earth Pony Endurance

    Secondary Skills: Cooking, Kelp Farming, Finding That Secret Ingredient, Spiked Armor Combat, Making Improvised Doors

    Equipment: Corn is equipped with a powerful Healing Talisman. While it won't prevent him from being killed it is able to mend wounds that would otherwise be crippling or fatal. It offers no protection against Taint and Radiation. Corn also has a suit of armor that would likely prove bulky and cumbersome to any smaller pony. Equipped with wicked spikes and razors it transforms Corn into a steel avalanche of destruction in combat. As an added bonus the helmet makes for a great cooking pot.

    Corn is usually burdened down with whatever goods Team Ruben Sandwich GO! is packing around.


    Name: Allomyrina 'Swiss Cheese'

    Race: Changeling

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: As a Changeling Swiss has no Cutie Mark. However her pony-persona has a Cutie Mark of a wedge of swiss cheese due to the nick-name her friends gave her.

    Virtue: Loyalty. A bit of an odd duck when it comes to Changelings, Swiss is fiercely loyal toward her friends. She feeds on the friendship and love of her companions and returns it in kind, creating a sort of positive emotional feedback loop. Swiss serves as the emotional glue that keeps the team together, enforcing the harmony between her friends through unwavering commitment.

    Appearance: Swiss' pony-persona is a dull yellow unicorn(usually) mare with raspberry red mane 'n tail with lighter pink swirls. Eyes are a deep red. In her Changeling state Swiss is clad in black insectoid armor reddish tiny. Her diaphanous mane and tail are strawberry red and her slit eyes similar color. Her wings are akin to a beetle's, the outer pair forming a hard shell to protect the inner pair. Finally she possess two horns. One much larger and curved forward with an almost antler-like four pointed tip. The second smaller horn is further up on her head and curving back, ending in a two-pointed fork.

    Faction: Team Ruben Sandwhich GO!

    Primary Skills: Medical, Science, Explosives, Faerie Fire, Stealth

    Secondary Skills: Potion concoction, Lock Picking, Electronic Repair, Explosives Engineering, Misdirection Glamor

    Equipment: Swiss carries mostly raw materials for explosives and various potions in addition to a few of the end products in her saddle bags. The changelings weapons are mostly a combination of her own explosively charged faerie fire mixed with volatile compounds to generate devices of devastating effect. That's in addition to tools and a compact work-station for potion creation. Swiss recently acquired a Stampede grenade launcher modified for semi-auto fire. PHOOMP!


    Name: Foresight 'Rye'

    Race: Earth Pony

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A pair of binoculars. Rye is good at seeing what needs to be found and learning what needs to be known.

    Virtue: Honesty. Rye has an almost idiotic drive to do the right thing. Whether that be to tell the truth even when it hurts or charge to the aid of another pony that hates her. Rye keeps her friends on the straight and narrow, pushing toward heroic ends rather than simply being out for riches.

    Appearance: Rye is a brown earth pony mare with a darker, near black mane. Her eyes are a brilliant green and stand out rather tellingly from the rest of her coloration.

    Faction: Team Ruben Sandwich GO!

    Primary Skills: Foresight, MEWs, Survival, Repair, Melee

    Secondary Skills: Energy Spreaders, Energy Rifles, Stable-Knowledge, Zebra Martial Arts, Power Hoof Combat, Mechanical Repair

    Equipment: Light body armor. Beam rifle. And Liquefaction, an uncannily durable disintigrator shotgun that's armored enough to be used as a melee weapon. Mind the power hooves on her hind legs as well. Rye keeps a set of tools with her and repairs the equipment of her team members. As with most ponies she keeps a healthy supply of potions and sparkle batteries for her weapons.


    Name: Moondancer 'Sauerkraut'

    Race: Canterlot Ghoul Unicorn

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A crescent moon and two stars. Sauer is incredibly gifted in the art of dance, both mundane and magical.

    Virtue: Magic. Sauer has impressive aptitude for magic. Her mind is neat, orderly, and above all disciplined. It was this self-discipline that allowed her to keep her mind in the many lonely years she has spent as a Canterlot Ghoul. Sauer often acts as the leader of her group of friends, finding solace in their companionship. She is more than happy to lend her tactical expertise to help keep her friends alive.

    Appearance: In life she was a white unicorn with a swirly pink mane and tail bearing a prominent blue stripe. Sauerkraut's body was ravaged by the necrotic Pink Cloud that devoured Canterlot, but she did not die. At least not fully. Now her form is emaciated and skeletal, her nose, eyes, and lips having completely decayed away. Her mane and tail appear almost insubstantial and wisps of pink cloud seep from fissures in her hide.

    Faction: Team Ruben Sandwich GO!

    Primary Skills: Translocation, Destruction, Divination, Defense, Illusion.

    Secondary Skills: Magical research, Dancing, Old World Knowledge, Making Plans!

    Equipment: Sauerkraut serves as the team's medic, carrying with her the lion's share of their medical supplies. Potions, healing bandages, and the like. A PipBuck with broadcaster attachment is fused to her right foreleg. She shuns weapons in favor of her impressive arcane might, though she keeps a small caliber pistol in her saddle bags just in case. At any given time Sauer keeps a simple glamor and a powerful necrotic ward active to hide her horrific appearance and to hold the toxic fumes from her body in check.

    Name: Maul Steel

    Race: Unicorn Pony

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: Several knives forming a circle.

    Virtue: Laughter. Maul can always find a reason to laugh at things, no matter how terrible they are. I guess that's why he joined the slavers with ease? Of course, laughter doesn't mean a want to do it. He's all up for a good joke, but stabbing someone? That's hardcore.

    Appearance: Maul has a orange red coat, a few scars lining his body from past goof ups with his knives. His blonde mane is tied up into a Mohawk, a knife slid into the spike at the very end of his mane. He's not very well built, and is actually quite scrawny for a slaver. His horn is a bloody red, little scribbles of skulls drawn onto it as the years go by.

    Faction: Old Appleoosa Slaver

    Skills: Melee weapons, telekinesis, Lying, necromancy, hiding (Cowering).

    Equipment: Maul is equipped with the standard crummy Slaver barding, a few bags slung to the side with a buck load of knives in holsters strapped around his body. He has a pair of red goggles sitting above his head that he likes to use when he goes into choppy choppy mode. He also keeps a pair of binoculars with him and a few tooth picks for the road, hey you never know?

    Magic: Maul has shown proficient skill in utilizing knives with telekenisis, especially in wielding multiple of them at a time (he's gone up to 5 knives at one time effectively). However, he's begun dabbling a bit in the darker arts, nothing too serious, just a little taste in the form of a soul fire spell, but he rather liked the feel of it and wishes to learn more.

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: A Silver Dollar. His special talent is that he's prone to randomly moments of really good luck, usually in conjunction with something bad. Winning a game of cards despite having a bad hand, finding a nice piece of loot hidden amongst some junk, surviving a bullet to the face... that sorta thing.

    Virtue: Honesty

    Appearance: Light brown fur, dark brown mane, crystal blue eyes. Wears a a black leather vest, black desperado hat, a pair of brown leather saddle-bags, a battle-saddle combat harness. His face is currently obscured by bandages, to cover his still-healing scars.

    Faction: Mohoofe Deliveries.

    Primary Skills: Flight, Speechcraft, Repair, Guns, Sneaking.

    Background: Lucky was working as a Courier for Mohoofe Deliveries, when a delivery brought him out into the heart of Equestria. He doesn't remember what went down exactly, only that he was beaten, shot, lit on fire, and left for dead in a ditch. And yet, by some lucky break, he survived. A roaming merchant found his broken and burnt body, still somehow clinging to life, and helped nurse him back from the brink of death. They then left him in New Apaloosa until he could fully regain his strength. Now that he's recovered enough to be up and about, Lucky has only one goal in mind: revenge. How far he's willing to go in order to accomplish this goal, however, is yet to be determined...

    Oh and it turns out Lucky used to be in Celestia's Legion, and was actually quite a bastard. He's guilty of countless sins, including enslavement, theft, and cold-blooded murder. Needless to say, he's not taking this revelation all that well...

    • Magic Armor-Allows him to increase his armor's durability for a while, mostly being able to shrug off blunt and slashing damage.


    Equipment: Slaver barding, saddle bags with a few junk items like [a baseball, a chipped cup, tweezers and a bottle of glue], a hunting rifle, one healing potion, two doses of Dash, 30 caps. And random food ingredients.

    Personality:
    He's not so much as a 'an evil slaver', as so much as a dude who has to do what he has to do or be killed himself having had been a slave himself. He leans toward the cowardly side and will fall in line with the ones with the bigger guns and yell louder. He's rather subservient, his slave nature still a part of him.

    Name: Swift Hooves (Actually an alias. Real name: Xithr)

    Race: Zebra Ghoul

    Glyph Mark: Unknown; She doesn't even quite remember what it looked like.

    Virtue: Laughter. Xithr/Swift may not possess the over-the-top cheer that many elements of laughter do, but she certainly enjoys a good time and tries not to be incredibly depressing at all times. That's not to say she doesn't hide a dark past, but so long as that's not brought up she's generally optimistic. She's also a discordant Element of Honesty, but she'd probably be a whole lot less proud of that fact.

    Appearance: Xithr/Swift Hooves is tall, thin, and severely decayed. No cutie mark remains to identify her by, nor is there any indication of what race she was before ghoulification. Her flesh is largely browned from exposure at this point, though it does not seem to cause pain. Despite all this, her eyes are in unusually good condition for her age, and their vibrant blue color still shows.

    Skills: Xithr is a practitioner of the legendary "Fallen Caesar" style of hoof-fighting, and good enough at it to effortlessly dispatch a typical unskilled brawler even with her lack of bulging muscles. Prewar, Xithr was also an assassin who successfully infiltrated several well-defended areas and removed important ponies from the picture, though none so important as to have been immortalized like Big Macintosh was. As such, she can move nearly silently, go unseen in the darkness, and disable an unaware opponent with lethal precision. Xithr was also trained in marksmanship, and has mastered the skill of operating a weapon with her forehooves in addition to the usual tongue-usage. As a Zebra, she also has a passing knowledge of alchemy, and could produce various chems with the correct ingredients.

    Faction: No faction, though friends with Gleamy Mind and Fleetwing. She's less close toVioletta, but treats her with respect anyway.

    Equipment: Zebra Marksmare's Rifle chambered for 5.56 rounds, outfitted with a scope and hoof-trigger. Suit of Light Armor, designed for skirmishing rather than direct combat. Saddlebag containing extra ammunition, various drugs, combat and otherwise, and three magic grenades. Pocketknife for field medicine and general handiness. Equestrian Battle Rifle, chambered for .30-06 rounds.

    Name: Fleetwing, first name pending

    Race:
    Pony (Pegasus)

    Cutie Mark/Special Talent: Oddly enough, running. He’s much faster on hoof than in the air, remaining an average flyer. His cutie mark is a pair of running shoes.

    Virtue: Discordant Kindness. Fleetwing attempts to show kindness to his fellow wastelanders, but said kindness is tempered by fear. A little foal on the side of the road could be a slaver trap, carrying the wounded back to civilization may draw the wrong kind of attention, and while a beggar may need bits, he needs a better gun to stay safe. He tries to do what he can to be the sort of change he wants to see in the world, but the most he’s able to consistently do is keep to his code of honor regarding homes. To him, a home is a sacred place, one where a pony should not fear a surprise attack, or one day find their possessions missing. Regardless of the pony, he holds firmly to his code, which as more than once led ponies to believe he is some sort of half-fey creature.

    Appearance: Pale yellow coat, blue mane with light-blue streaks, and reddish-brown eyes. He wears light barding, holstering his guns so they're as visible and eye-catching as possible. In fact, it looks like he even purposefully rubbed his armor raw around his holster, just so the color contrast would make it more obvious. Other than that, he tries not to be too flashy, not even wearing a hat over his scruffy mane.

    Faction: Unaffiliated, but hails from the settlement of Trotsky, named for a pre-war delivery company. A caravan of their moving vans all crashed down in one place, and a group of ponies made homes out of the wreckage. Nowadays, it sees fairly regular Raider attacks. Fleetwing still has a family there - a father, mother, and two sisters - and keeps in semi-regular contact via letter. He hasn’t had a chance to check a mailbox in a while though, and he hopes they continue to be safe.

    Skills: Repair (Somepony’s gotta keep those fancy guns a-shooting), Lockpick (Never for breaking and entering, of course), Hacking (Why do the terminals still work but the locks are all broken?), and General Weapon Knowledge (He should write a book someday)

    In addition, he has basic competency with all forms of weapons, with no remarkable skill in any one category. He relies on the weapon’s power to make up for a deficit of skill. He’s also capable of basic wasteland survival, but really, nothing beyond what any average scavenger would pick up as they wander.

    Equipment: On his person, he carries two special weapons. The first is a set of spiked horseshoes named Love & Tolerance. They’re forged from extremely durable metal, enchanted to never grow dull. The second is a 9mm pistol aptly named “Peashooter”. Despite its worn-down, patchwork appearance, it packs a serious punch. But for a pony who wants their guns to stop fights before they begin? Not so great.

    In his secret stash, he has two more weapons that he doesn’t use. A sledgehammer, made out of an iron bar and a chunk of marble, called “Builder’s Remorse” and a magical rifle called “Dust to Dust”. The sledgehammer is far too big for him to weild effectively, and if you ask him why he doesn’t take the high-powered magic rifle out more often, he’d ask you where exactly you’re expecting him to find the replacement parts when it breaks. Oh, and he keeps the majority of his caps there too.

    As for other equipment, he wears light scavenger’s barding, and his saddlebags carry a host of basic scavenging supplies. Bobby pins for those doors without keys, two healing potions for emergencies, a (mostly) blank book he uses to document his research and rumors about unique weaponry, a little food and water, and a decent pile of caps. Guy’s a bit of a miser with the caps.

    Bio: Fleetwing left Trotsky after finally having enough of the Raider attacks, and swore he’d find a more peaceful place to call his own. He wandered for a time, finding disappointment after disappointment as he found the rest of Equestria was as war-like and screwed up as home was. Then one day, as he was mulling his next destination over a mug of cider, a gang of roughhouse ponies rolled into town. They were loud, bold, and looking for a fight. They’d just started harassing folks in the bar (and Fleetwing had just started cowering under his table) when the sheriff of the little town burst in the door, his custom-built, fully automatic shotgun gleaming in the morning light. The change was dramatic and immediate. The former ruffians were suddenly all smiles, helping to pick up the mess they’d caused, and promising that such a misunderstanding wouldn’t happen again before hightailing it out of town. Just like that, without firing a shot even, peace had returned to the settlement. Fleetwing suddenly knew how he could finally have the home he’d always wanted; not by finding some Eden of the Wasteland, but by amassing the biggest, baddest collection of weaponry known to ponykind, and daring any Raider, Slaver, or - dare he think - Alicorn to cause trouble.

    Other Notes: He has a secret location, out in the Wasteland where he stores his weapons and caps. He's booby-trapped it as best as he can, and even has a fake hidey hole with nothing in it, but traps aplenty guarding it. He rarely visits, as he's afraid somepony will notice him and find the location of his hideout.

    Relationships:
    -A healthy amount of respect for Xithr/Swift Hooves.
    -A distrust of Gleamy, blossoming into begrudging acceptance of her prescence. Still rarely calls her by name.
    -Has taken Violetta under his wing, for better or for worse, in an effort to get her someplace safer than the open Wastes. Current attitude towards her is directly proportional to how long it's been since she's messed something up.
    -Acquaintances of Mach and Island, apologetic to the latter for shooting her by accident.
    -Slightly protective of the innocent Soda Fizz, and slightly terrified by her new appearance and ambient radiation

    Near-Sighted: You're don't have four eyes, but you might just think that tall cactus does! You suffer up to a -2 penalty to PER when looking at far-away objects, and gain up to a +2 bonus to PER for close-up examinations. Glasses can normalize these values, or remove them entirely.
    Cowardly: You are a yellow-bellied coward, and always have been. On the bright side, sometimes fear is the right reaction, and you gain a bonus to all resistances due to your caution! Unfortunately, you are also easily cowed and intimidated.
    Enclave Exile: Those stuffed-up cloud-lovers may have turned their back on you or your family, but you're getting the last laugh! You've still got a head full of random, insider tidbits about the Enclave! The downside? They'll blast your unclean flank straight to Tartarus if you even think of coming back. Then they'll hike all the way to Tartarus and blast it again, just to be sure they got you this time.
    Light Sleeper: It's hard to catch you napping; in fact, you can't even catch yourself napping! You don't suffer the usual penalties to PER from your average snooze, but you need a few hours more shuteye than the average pony to catch some quality z's. And unless you're sleeping on a bed crafted from the down of Celestia herself, the only time you'll be Well-Rested is in your dreams.

    Perks:
    Racial Perk (Pegasus): You're a pegasus! That means you get a nice pair of wings for flying, and you can manipulate clouds and other weather effects.
    Cutie Mark (Running): Run run run! You never stop! Your land speed is faster than most, your fast reflexes mean you're not likely to stumble into trouble while booking it, and you don't tire as easily as most.
    Weapon Freak: You just looooooove them weapons! You get a small bonus to each of your weapon skills, except Unarmed. Only nerds fight with their bare hooves.
    Scrounger: You've got a nose for ammo; you'll be finding a bit more in the Wastes than the average Donut Joe.
    Twitchy Reflexes: You might mistake a leaf for a tripwire, but at least you'll still have all your legs at the end of the day! Traps just can't seem to catch you off-guard, and you always manage to dodge a bit of their bite.

    Virtue: Loyalty (Discordant). Razoreye's loyal to a vision of a future that needs to be brought about in strife, and will be immensely loyal to one planning such a thing.

    Appearance: Large tawny/white griffon. Dressed in combat armor painted gray with red meant to appear similar to pre-war griffon honorguards. Exudes the general feeling of 'don't mess with me' due to the odd scar and wicked looking gauntlets on his talons.

    Faction: Ponyville

    Skills: Speech, Talon-combat, Guns, Survival
    Secondary: Command, Cooking, Flight

    Equipment: Combat Armor, Assault Rifle(griffon trigger), Ammo, Rations, Healing Powder, Sharpened Metal Guantlet, 120 caps

    Traits/Perks: Warrior - You have less skills, but make up for this with your natural strength, endurance, and general ability to kill everything.

    Bio: Frederick 'Razoreye' was at one point a Talon. After a time of general mercenary service, he became convinced that the griffons had lost their way. They substitute real honor for contracts handed down by cowards too afraid to test their own mettle.

    It is time for true honor to be part of the greater Equestrian world. Razoreye's break with the Talons ended up a bit bloody, but everypony seems wise enough not to go after the blood price on his head nowadays.

    Name: Stormy Skies, more often called Sparky

    Race: Pegasus

    Cutie Mark: A yellow lightning bolt. This is to show Sparky's talent in making lightning.

    Virtue: Laughter. Sparky talks fast and occasionally with a hint of static electricity, and is pretty hyperactive as well. He's dead focused on a problem when need be, though. He tends towards making snarky comments and sarcasm, though with friends he's a bit more light.

    Appearance: A lithe grey pegasus with sparkling red eyes. His mane is often messy and standing straight up from static, and it's a darker grey.

    Faction: Former Enclave member, he'd die to become a Steel Ranger but can't.

    Skills: Coaxing static electricity out of places and making it go other places, making overly complicated devices to harness the electrical power, fighting with melee weapons and armor, flying pretty darn fast, and having amazing aim with his trademark weapon.

    Equipment: Strong armor crafted by pegasus smiths, a light, long, deadly sword with a hooked tip called Zap, a computer with a weather and geographical map of Equestria that runs on DC power, and a set of shockwires that are attached to his armor's wrists, along with quite a few caps (alright, he's semi-rich).

    Backstory: His father was a powerful trader and a high-up guy in the Enclave, and his family was rich and warlike. 'Cept Stormy Skies. From the first time he saw a Steel Ranger, he knew what he wanted to be. His father didn't want him going down past the trading posts, but that's just 'cause he was booooooring. So he ran away from home with a purse full of bits and his father's armor and sword, seeking adventure beneath the clouds. Then they told him that pegasuses couldn't be Steel Rangers, imagine that! So he now searches for a worthy cause to join, 'cause just wandering around is boring, and those mean Raiders have no sense of humor. Really!

    Appearance: A pony in a dark outfit with a hooded cloak. What little can be seen of her(?) coat is dark blue, and her(?) tail is red and blue. On her(?) vest is a pentagram symbol, although the meaning of it is unknown.

    Personality: Dark and secretive. She(?) seems to have some kind of plan for the Wasteland, but only time will tell what it is.

    History: Her(?) origins are unknown. What is known is that she(?) travels from place to place, hiring mercenaries to do strange tasks. She(?) is rather hard to track due to moving around a lot.

    Power Rating: Unknown, but suspected to be at least 4/7 if not even higher.

    Ultimate Goal: Unknown, but seems sinister.
