"A Youth Officers program sounds good, but I don't think you should count on finding your replacement there." Alice says. "I know Jefferies would love it. And then Lottie would want to join if Jefferies does, but she'd probably hate it. She's very much into girlie things. It's a mystery that the girls get along so well."

Vas' Office

"Not right away perhaps, but it'd be a good way to start training replacements for officers early." Vasquez points out. "As for Lottie we can always try to find something else for her. We always need other support personnel if nothing else. She wouldn't really have to take combat lessons if she didn't want to. We could do a whole variety of training paths."

Vas's Office

"Believe me, she'll insist on taking every class Jefferies does, complaining the whole while that the uniforms aren't pink." Alice says.

"I'll make a pink one just for her. Or at least a pink beret." Vasquez tells Alice with a small smile, but meaning every word of it. "We'll have to design alternate uniforms for them anyway."

And thats a good moment for Tovpir, the giant stone scorpion to return to Remnant. He shrugs off the diry on his back. He had to dig around to follow another creature, but obviously lost track of it.

He enters the Rec Center. Two NPC soldier turn away from the scorpion, maybe in fear or of other reasons Tovpir don't knows. As he notice the scene with Vul, he assumes he found someone to tak to. At least he seems to get nothing but scorn and derision from the other guys.

"Hey!" Tovpir says as he comes closer to Vul.

It might look that way, with Vul's squad sitting and laughing while he nods off in the corner. The huge abhuman opens his eyes with a start, looking at Tovpir. A stone scorpion. And one that speaks, no less. Strange, but not irregular. "Good afternoon. Are you a civilian, sir?" Tov doesn't appear to be wearing a uniform. Of course, they make outfits in Vul's size, so why not a huge arachnid?

As for Tov's description, what would Vul be seeing here? Something like Skarner perhaps?

Tovpir is a giant scorpion. His skin is made of stone and crystall. Simular Picture. His body is mainly dark purple and his eyes gloom red while the kristalls appear to be in a light blue.
With his tail up he is near 6 feet high, which with his tale lowed down ends in only 3 feet.

Jeah. You could say he is a brother of Skarner. Oh and I think he wear some kind of Uniform from Remnant or something simular. Since he isn't a human i may got missed.

"No. I'm a soldier of Remnant. I assume you as well?"

Soldir may not be the right word, but Tovpir takes Remnant as an army.

That link doesn't seem to work, I'm afraid.

"I am. Vul Vraal. Do your people shake hands?" Vul asks, even as he offers his. He's got some natural armor, so he can probably shake one of Tovpir's pincers without losing a finger or two.

The Link

"Technicaly we can't we have no hands." He will hold his string in front of Vul's hand.

"My name is Tovpir. Just don't touch the spiky end."

[Murkus]

"Vul," He lies again, darkening inwardly. On the outside, his mandibles click amiably as he shakes the offered tail. "What is it you do here, Tovpir?"

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

"The same as you I assume, I just gotbad luck." the skorpion replies still looking confused as Vul calles his own name again.

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

Blame that on post gaps and me being up way too late.

"Why assume that?" Vul says, smiling and glancing back toward his troops. If only briefly. "Am I that uninspiring, sitting here?"

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

Tovpir looks still confused even if Vul never said his name twice .

"Uninspiring? I don't know what you think of, but as said I assume you work for remnant as well."

Vas' Office

"I'll make a pink one just for her. Or at least a pink beret." Vasquez tells Alice with a small smile, but meaning every word of it. "We'll have to design alternate uniforms for them anyway."

The two go over details, and Alice is able to forget, for a while, how awful the Xar'Cha ball had been.

Tovpir looks still confused even if Vul never said his name twice .

"Uninspiring? I don't know what you think of, but as said I assume you work for remnant as well."

"Ah. I thought you meant the bit about bad luck," Teq says, managing a little smile with his mandibles. The giant shakes his head. "In any case, I'm just a corporal. Do you outrank me, sir? Should I stand and salute?" He seems to be pretty serious, but isn't too concerned to begin with. It's hard to tell what rank Tovpir is.

Tovpir shakes his head which cause his whole body to shake.

"I don't think so. And the bad luck was just about some missions. I either came to late or didn't notice things."

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"Oh? What happened?" Vul asks, tilting his head inquisitively.

((Really, Zefir, you must poke me when I forget things like this ))

((I didn't know you where online the last days and I know you disapear for a few days from time to time.))

"Not much. Either I arrived and things are already under controll or I read about such events in the news." the crystal/stone scorpion replies whith a shrug.

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"Well, perhaps we just ought to watch the city more closely," Vul suggests, glancing back toward his men. He watches them quietly, thinking.

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

Tovpir still appears confused.

"And how should we be able to do that?"

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"More frequent patrols... perhaps an extensive camera network... For you and I specifically? Well. There's only so much a man can do," Vul admits, regrettably.

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

The scorpion nods.

"If you can do that. As you see I'm notreally perfect for the technoligie."

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

Vul shrugs. "In any case... was there something you needed, Tovpir?"

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

The scorpion shakes his head.

"Nothing. I just thought we could have a talk. Most people can't deal with what I am and the guys over there seem to do simular to you."

He points at Vul's team which is on another table if I recall right?

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"Oh, you thought..." Vul glances at his troops, still chatting away, and shakes his head. "Don't blame them. But you came to the right place, I suppose."

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

It's not like the troops are the once Tovpir means. There are still some more NPC around.^^

"If I would I would call for the higher ranks. Such a behavior shouldn't be shown so obviouse. So how did things go for you then?"

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"What do you mean?" Vul asks, looking at the scorpion pointedly.

[Zefir]

The first thing was ment to the 'don't blame them', if that was the thing in question.

"I mean how did you come along here? I can't remember to see you after I entered."

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"I joined a couple months back. Got put on as a Corporal pretty much right away. I keep to myself," Teq explains quietly. That's probably why Tovpir hasn't seen him around.

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

"So you got raised up immediatelly. Seems like you got a better time than me then."

The scorpion still wonder, not that he needs a higher rank, but he at least thought there is a system behind the ranks.

[Murkus]

[Rec Center]

"I have some experience as an officer," Vul explains, smiling mildly. "Don't take it too personally." He says, albeit jokingly.

[Zefir]

[Rec Center]

Tovpir shakes his head.

"Don't worry. I won't get it anyways. I'm just to small."

The place he came from is obviously differetn even in how you get a higher rank.
