Harnel nods, "Of course, we need to show them to the Therishein house. But I didn't want to leave so soon, since this is your homeland."

"No, of course not. I was just thinking since you said they would be branded as outcasts. How would people react to them exactly?" The sorceress asks with some concern. At least they don't have to worry about the cold though as Mindy left the fireplace burning.

"They wouldn't like them," Harnel says, moving to get more comfortable, "But given their nobility, they're stuck accepting them. Heirs are always valable."

[Shadowcaller]

"But they would be shunned by your society." Cessie states, not asking a question.

[Halae]

[Hestopia]

"They need to know," Harnel says simply, "I'm not saying we should spend much time there, but it's important we bring them to Ascaerin at least once."

[Shadowcaller]

[Hestopia]

"Harnel, I don't mind spending time there either." Despite what happened. "I'm just a bit worried I guess, but that doesn't mean we should never visit your homeworld again after this."

[Halae]

Harnel nods, "Alright. For now though, I think we should get some sleep."

Arena Cimorene Vs. Eon

She was hoping to knock him off balance but it doesn't seem like that is going to happen here. Maybe if he attacked she could work some fake judo to trip/disarm him again. She lets go of the weapon and decides that she might as well go for some attacks. Hopefully being close up to him will limit his options of attacking back. She tries to bring down both of her swords onto his shoulders, maybe that will loosen his grip on his hammer.

As far as I saw it she tried to use her sword to disarm him. In the armor Eon isn't fast enougth to avoid the hit, so he takes the hit. And there are times he is happy about the full plate. Still the hit hurt, but due to the steel it's nothing that brings him down. And now is his chance. he swings the weapon upwards, weaker than before, but Cimorene maybe suprised how good he took the hit.

She is a bit surprised by how quickly he brought up the hammer to attack with again, she had hoped to get in a couple more hits before having to retreat. Not interested with meeting that hammer yet Cimorene dives out of the way rolling back to her feet without using her hands. If Eon is quick enough he might be able to follow after her and press his attack, otherwise she will take a second or two and stay out of range hoping to draw him back towards the center of the arena.

Ghoul smiled inwardly at Boris' lack of reaction. She always did enjoy fights with professionals. They usually had the best tricks. Besides, a fight survived was just as much a victory as a learning experience. And a chance to add to one's own repertoire as well. She was able to vaugely place the stance as well but not without some trouble. Martial arts had a tendency to change over time and, given that she hailed from a timeframe comparitively beyond the Spetsnaz's, some evolution likely separated what she recognised and what he was using.

Still, that aside, it would seem to be a rather boring fight to watch starting out as both combatants appeared to be staying on the defensive. Ghoul was fairly certain she could wait him out but all the while she kept watch and gathered data of his motions and how he shifted his weight. It was impossible to really mask an incoming strike but some 'tells' could be picked up earlier than others due to how one held their stance, among other things.

Boris doesn't shift his weight much, he seems to balance fairly easily. He doesn't move much either, beyond a slow circling and approach. He makes sure to keep his open hand at the front for countering, and to put more weight in his knife swipes.

Though he could wait for hours if he had to, Boris has to remind himself that he's fighting to entertain a crowd, not to kill his opponent. So after another fifteen or so seconds, he steps forward in a lunge, trying to swipe the blade of his knife at the neck of Ghoul's armor. Perhaps the material there was thin enough to slice through.

While the mesh material would indeed be susceptible to cutting given its function, the neck guards would mean that slashing would be rather difficult unless the arc was either shallow or a lunge mid-way through turned it into a stab.

Of course, that would be what he would have to contend with if not for the muse's reaction. Trying to duck into his swing, Ghoul held up one arm to block further motion of his knife arm and used her momentum forward in a palm strike to his abdomen. Given that both combatants were moving toward each other, the strike would have more force behind it than a flat thrust (although the muse had made sure to deactivate her cybernetics so as to level the field more. This was a competition of skill rather than sheer power after all). Not to mention that it would be more difficult to dissipate the force behind it. Borris could always force his weight to the side to dodge or otherwise break off the attack but it was highly possible that he would be open to a follow-up strike.

Of course, that didn't mean he couldn't come up with something that would turn the tables, though.

While his weapon is up he will go to make another hit, still it would be a waste of energy to just get the hammer down without an attack. So he will take a few steps forward to get back in range with his hammer while the weapon is coming down at Cimorene. Since the armor still slows him down she should be on her feet the moment he attacks. Oh and he just aimes for her, even thought such a hit could be deadly., if the other perosn stays in place.

Cimorene does her best to spin out of the way of that attack as well, it just barely grazes her left shoulder. She ignores the sharp pain and lunges forward with a powerful jab aimed at his stomach. She figures his armor should take most of the blow, at most she would dent it, but hopefully the blow will knock the wind out of him.

"Why? It's not like it's lethal or anything. The group I got it from uses them for capturing people."

Naera frowns, going to pull Blank into a gentle hug again.

"How do you know what barbed wire feels like, liasa-veleen?"

[Dark Elf Bard]

She frowns. Uh, my parents said all little girls have to have to feel it when they turn seven.

Naera's eyes flash, and she hisses angrily.

"I see... Just how great an objection would you have to them dying?"

[Dark Elf Bard]

Blank looks slightly frightened, but still leans into Naera.

Um, I don't know.... I don't want to hurt anyone, but I really don't like them... I just want to be taken away.

[Lady Serpentine]

"You wouldn't have to," she says quietly, smiling reassuringly at her. "But if you prefer to simply come back with me, I can do that, too."

[Dark Elf Bard]

Naera nods, smile widening a bit.

"My girlfriend, Vo... You'll like her, I think."

Eon has no chance to avoide the attack. The armor is just to heavy. The blos stops him from going on and he needs a deep breath befor he can go on. After he gain his breath Eon tries to slide his weapon on the ground aiming for her feet.

Amelia sees the hammer coming and leaps over it, stabbing forward with her left hand as she does so, ignoring the pain in that shoulder. She figures that unless he can suprise her with some sort of trick she should be able to dodge him as long as she continues to be careful, and not get to greedy attacking him.

Naera nods, smile widening a bit.

"My girlfriend, Vo... You'll like her, I think."

Oh yeah? What's she like? Blank smiles back.

"She's nice... Crazy shy, but really kind."

I can't wait to meet her! She grins.

The knife swing was meant at least partially as a distraction. As his arm is blocked, Boris immediately brings it back and twists to the side. He didn't anticipate the palm strike, so that still hits him, but it's more of a glancing blow as Boris moves. Since Ghoul's decided to duck down, Boris makes an attempt at an elbow strike aimed at the top of her head. It probably won't be terribly effective even if it hits, given her armor.

I can't wait to meet her! She grins.

Blank looks at the TV, watching the fights.

Naera grins back, nodding.

"You will, liasa-veleen. As soon as we've had our fights."

What's Vo look like? BVlanks bounces a little in her seat, excited.

"She's pretty. Pale, almost grey, but not quite. Bright red hair... Oh, and you can still see scars on her shoulders and legs sometimes, in the right light."
