Also, this being meta, I can throw my discontent at his *self-sacrifice* thing in the Assassins game as a backing up point.

Does it seem to anyone that there should have been more votes and stuff?

I think people are starting lose interest in the lynch since we don't have wolves to track down or try to prevent the lynching of. There are no villains to rally against, we can't use villainy as an excuse for our self-serving votes, and we don't have much incentive to help somebody else if they admit that they want a player dead because that player is a threat to them personally.

There's also no defense we can use to protect somebody a bandwagon forms against. Most players won't care to protect a known villager, and people can't use their factions to convince players outside of the faction to stay off of a given wagon, so there's not much room for discussion during the day phase.

Hmm, I just thought that most WWs died around round 7 or 8. I just though everyone was being clever by doing so in the Meta WW.

That could be part of it, but other than the role playing, the day phases haven't seemed all that interesting to me even from the beginning. It really doesn't seem like too many players care who gets lynched, though that could just be my perspective.

Yeah, there's no great unified wolf threat that'll make everyone cry for their lives and whatnot. Too much sides make a pretty weak lynching phase.

Well doesn't this game end when one side is the only one living?
"Wolves" have the most alive (with every team having the same number of players), would that not be a reason for "town" to hunt "wolves"?

We are going to blame "family-yard-work-weekend" along with no one else posting for this game as to why we did not post.

Day Seven:

"Featherdusting." The voice of the masked man commented absently. The cavern hole had suddenly sprouted cobwebs. Insane spiders, daring to taint his central grove.

"Can I have Pest-cleaning?" No answer comes back as he frowns to himself. "Excuse me, are you there?"

"Uh... They... They all went to the back to have a party while you slept..."

The soft voice issuing out of the mouth caused the head to land softly on the desk in front of it. "They were the ones that let me sleep. They shouldn't be allowed to do this while I'm busy featherdusting the mess they made."

"No excuses. You aren't doing your job. It's pretty simple, isn't it?"

The masked face began darting around, attempting to find the source of the dark voice. Usually he could see it. "O-of course, master! I'm just arguing with myself, ignore silly, mentally damaged old me." Following the brief excuse, he laughed self-depreciatingly, and awkwardly. A moment later, the laugh booming out of the darkness caused his laughter to die.

"You have no control, but you are too amusing to waste. Let me show you. Just. How. Much. You are valued."

A moment of screaming, then silence as the dark energy swang forwards, enveloping the face of the masked man. After buzzing around the head for a moment, the energy vanished, leaving the completely slack masked man sitting alone...

Then the mask came alive, grinning and frowning at the same time. "I'm glad you care for me so much, master. Your bidding be done."
