Double post, so apologies, but I finished some more of those templates for thw fun of it. Seeing more detailed versions of characters is fun, and might help for any fans who are artistically inclined.

I do enjoy the more detailed templates!

Greying of the beard looks nice.

Most of all, though, the less-exaggerated, but still identifiable facial expressions look really good on them.

    She speaks the truth.

It's time for the powerful quest-giver to dump his job on someone smaller, weaker, and far less likely to achieve the all-important task than he is. I love this world.

    Dear quest giving NPC's everywhere,

We as the players do not appreciate being sent out as little more than glorified messengers or exterminators. We recognize that many of you are not in positions to take care of yourselves, but can you please give it a try instead of waiting for the heroes to show up?

    All thanks,

And urge to make fanart, curse you for making me want to do even more art instead of my homework, Darklord Bright!

On another note; Kagra points out an important problem, but I don't think it is the fault of the quest giver. But instead on the quest itself! :Eureka:

My theory is that either the more you know, the heavier it gets until you eventually can't move or everybody is playing a relay race without telling the protagonists. Anything else is just implausible!

How about racism and finding justification (even if ubsurd) to sent her back to where she came from? Nice Job Kagra (for attacking a storeowner), now the paladins (and probably the evil elves) are now on her back.

It's probably the shield emblem they wear.
Which, also supports the fact that they may be guards anyway.

Maybe they're guards who also happen to be paladins?

We'll just have to wait for the stupid one to do something stupid and get them both into a situation where they have to use their paladin abilities. If they have them.

The fact that the piece of material (I cannot think of the proper word) that they're are wearing over their armour is torn supports the fact that they may be paladins who have shunned material wealth.
But I'm probably looking into it too much.
