Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
You're afraid of the dark? But don't you live in a place where it's sunless for a couple of weeks out of the year?
I will agree though, it is much better to have company in the dark than to be alone in it. Mostly because that movie was terribad.
That reminds me. There is a song by Tracy Chapman you need to listen to.
'Scalled "In The Dark" or something along those lines.
Also, Nina Simone's "Sinnerman"

Yes, I do. It's not just "a couple of weeks" it's around 6 months or more. Yes, I sleep with a light or music on. Yes I am a child.
And dear god Alone in the Dark. Porquoi~ *despair*
Also, if we're trading songs, although I do not have a link, I recomend Sound Of Silence.

Simon and Garfunkeling me, eh?
One of my favorites by them, but I generally prefer The Boxer.
*pat pat hug* It'll be ok. He can't make any more.

But the games were apparently very good.
What about I am a Rock?

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
Thanks for the support. Also, Uwe Boll is infact still making movies. It's kinda depressing, since his skill at making movies has increased, and thus he's stopped being "so bad it's hilarious to riff on" to "just legitimately terrible"
EDIT: An old friend of mine loves that song. It's pretty good.Last edited by LaZodiac; 2012-02-05 at 03:46 AM.

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
A name like that and he didn't go after Barbarella?
More wrong with that man than I'd ever have guessed.
Gotta admit, I've never played them.
I am a Rock is ok, but reminds me of my ex-fiance. Which is odd because I don't even think it was one of her favorites.
Does describe the things I disdain quite nicely. Can't abide laughter or loving.

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
Well, back in the day, Jane Fonda was apparently considered to be quite the looker, or something. I'm not fully aware of things that far back in the murky mists of time.
If you've ever heard of Duran Duran, Barbarella is the cult sci-fi movie that they took the name from.
I'm not that much older than you, no. Though, heck, there are those who are married and then divorced again by 20.
Breaking up with one's highschool sweetheart in college isn't that unusual, I'm given to understand.

Your concern was appreciated however. I assumed using "xD" in my post would tell people I wasn't all that worried.
T'is a shame. I'm watching most all of my friends who were Seniors last year break up with their girlfriends who are Seniors this year. Makes me wonder why people even try.

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
FTFY.
How very dare you.
Tennyson is amazing.
"Tho' much is taken, much abides. And tho'
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved Earth and Heaven - that which we are, we are.
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will:
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.""'But there's still such a lot to be done...'
YES. THERE ALWAYS IS."

I'm not. I just think most everything he said is flat out wrong
Also, you hate Shakespeare.
EDIT: Actually, not even that. I'm not fond of most of his more popular plays. His sonnets are very good.

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
You don't like Much Ado About Nothing or Taming of the Shrew?
Those are some of the earliest examples of trolling in English Literature, last I recalled. That is always rough stuff. Was rather trying on my relationship and the college wasn't even out of town. Most of the couples I recall survived that phase, and generally mostly got disintegrated by either A. going to the same university or B. not going to the same university.

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
Boy am I tired. Our make-believe student union celebrated it's 10 year anniversary last night with gasque and release (both Swedish terms, and I didn't even try translating the first). It was fun, but I didn't get to bed before half past 4 in the morning. Or wake up before a quarter to 1 in the afternoon. I think the latter is some sort of a personal record...
Clouddreamer Teddy by me, high above the world, far beyond its matters...

Re: Pokemon-freak89's Random Banter number eleventy-twelve... uhh... I mean... number
Well, you beat me at least.
ION: I just experienced my first Blue Screen of Death on my laptop. What fun
A little bit more about this: I was playing Dungeon Defenders, and experienced some lag. This isn't common, but it happens occasionally. When it lasted beyond a few seconds I figured something was wrong. After a few minutes of it being completely frozen, it happened. The horror.
