I love all the Overside comics. The world is so bizarre at times (especially in Rice Boy) but it makes sense to the characters that inhabit it.
I've been enjoying Vattu a lot. I like the dynamic between Vattu herself and the war-man. I want them to become buddy cops and fight crime on the streets of LA or something.

Maybe thats clergy in the white and black robes, but I couldn't tell from so far out. Hanging makes a lot more sense upon closer exaimination. Originally Posted by teratorn

I met Dahm briefly today at TCAF. Nice guy! If anyone is on the fence about maybe getting a book from him, I saw them and they are really quite lovely (especially Rice Boy). And also large and brick-like, which is a big selling point for me at least.

From this comic, Sahta is definitely not the world's equivalent of Tamriel Empire or any not so evil empire (the laws sound way too strict and oppressive).

Well this is an execution.
Its definitely an expansionist military government, and a monarchy based. Its laws seem based on tribute and hierarchy, and isn't too dissimilar to empires in our history.
