Well, if that's the case, I might just bring my sleeping bag and leave the airbed at home. What with the two boardgames, space is kind of at a premium in my bags.

I should rephrase slightly: bedding yes, beds no. We have assorted quilts, sheets, pillows, etc, but only a few cushions to actually provide a softer surface to lie on. So it's up to you.

OK, this sounds like a good plan. Someone meet up with we who ride the fabled coaches of the south then and there and we shall join the main host for victory!

Also, thanks to the brilliance of a friend of mine, I have 6 pint's worth of good ale to be consumed as soon as possible (i.e. before it goes off) which I have taken from a firkin of the stuff (that's 72 pints, my friends, and a very good birthday party it was too), and since I doubt I'll be seeing anyone this evening, I will bring it to the meetup.

Currently not looking too good. If I can, I'll try and get a train that'll likely get to Newcastle either 20:33 or about 21:23 if they're on time. If not... I'll check tomorrow, and if that won't work then I won't be coming - Sunday trains are even more unreliable.

Looking up alternatives as we speak. Could I have Qwaz's and/or Tasroth's number in case I can come up tonight?

Castaras, if you can't manage tonight...we are leaving from Derby tomorrow morning at 8.30-9 a.m. You could catch a bus from Leicester to here, if you want, and you could come with us to Newcastle by car.
