Savin feels the fangs sink into his skin and lets out a small grunt of pain.

Whirling about, using his momentum to spin the chain from the ruined remains of the shadow guard, he reels the chain in at the last moment, tightening the arc to increase the speed of the spin, as he lashes out at the snake near him.

Ryxikor smiles as he watches his arrow bury into the serpent, he quickly reaches back over his shoulder and grabs another arrow as he takes a few steps closer to his target. He pulls the arrow from his quiver and nocks it to the bowstring, drawing the arrow's fletchlings back to his cheek, all in one fluid motion, obviously muscle-memory from years of training. The elf seeks out the same target, hoping he doesn't hit Mordiun. The elven warrior breathes out slowly, and lets the arrow fly.

Initiative: Maesyn, Savin, Ryxikor, Axara, Mordiun, enemies

Now armed with a long bow, Maesyn targets the serpent in front of Savin. His shot is true but sadly does little damages to the slippery beast.

Savin, happy with his kill, now aims for the serpent in front of Mordiun. The hit would have been deadly if it was not for the serpent ability to avoid the spike chain.

Rxikor aims for the same serpent, sure that he will hit. Yes someone at the last possible instant, the serpent moves.

Axara is starting to realize that things are getting worse for her group. ‘You need to step back to allow me to stunned them with a sound burst to allow us to hit these darned things’. Hoping the strangers she is fighting with get her drift, she continues engaging the shadow guard but she does not make contact.

Mordiun asks for Haela Brigthaxe help instead of Mystra but it is no help. He thinks the mace will hit the serpent for sure bit, again, the slippery snake avoid the blow.

The shadow guards tries to hit the Mystran in front of him but Axara’s defensive are up to the task.

The displacer serpents, happy to have bitten the heroes, attack again. The one facing Savin fails but the one in front of Mordiun succeeds again. The third displacer serpent hisses, saying ‘Sharssss’.

The elven warrior squints in frustration, when he thought the arrow would have hit it's mark, then misses at the last second.

Just as he reaches back to retrieve another arrow, Ryx's worst suspicion actually comes true, precisely the reason why he doesn't like to put unopened doors behind him, more enemy always comes out. When the doors directly in front of him open, and he hears a female's threatning voice, without actually seeing her, he knew he had an opportunity if he acted fast, but quietly.

The wily elf lays his trusted shortbow behind him, out of harms way, while he slowly melts into the shadows against the stone slab wall. With his back flat against the wall, Ryxikor trusts his instincts, he's been in this position many times before. He controls his breathing, slowing it down as he slowly unsheaths organripper, gripping it's sleek leather handle tightly. His lean elven fingers close around a vial on his potion bandoleer and pulls it free of it's home.

Now Ryxikor stands, ready to face one of the main ring leaders, if not the main, of this motley evil group of imposters. He hopes Maesyn is somewhere behind him and has heard the newcomer's voice, hoping the bard may wield his rapier and somehow flank the female with him. Ryx realizes he may have to yell to Maesyn to let him know of his intentions. Too many times has the elven warrior faced a foreboding human by himself only to come close to death, including being pulled back from the clutches of death by the cleric of his party. So close to death once, in the worst place I would want to die, he thinks to himself of the drow priestess that almost killed him deep in the underdark. All this races through his mind while he stares at the drow blade in his hand, one of his favorite weapons he's used in a while.

Looking back at the newly opened doors, he wonders if he'll be able to slip into the room undetected.

Maesyn moves closer to the fight are and ready his bow to unleash it if someone starts casting a spell. However, he does not have a line a sight to the caster. So unless she moves, the bard cannot shoot her. He can aim at DS3 without a penalty.

Savin, takes a step back and gets a potion from his backpack. He drinks it and quadruple in size.

Ryxikor notices that the hallway is only lit by two torches and tries to hide in the shadow of the hallway. He has taken favorite weapon in hand and is ready to pounce.

Axara sees the new comer and hears the insult. ‘Shar is nothing more than a cheap knockoff version of the Lady of Mysteries, Mystra. I knew they took the easy and the cheap one in the church but I did not know they were taking the ugly ones too’ Regardless of her bravado, Axara knows that the group is in trouble in the current situation. She decides to invest the tendency. She take a 5 feet step back and asks Mystra to unleash a cacophony of sounds on her enemy.

This spell causes an object to radiate shadowy illumination out to a 20-foot radius. All creatures in the area gain concealment (20% miss chance). Even creatures that can normally see in such conditions (such as with darkvision or low-light vision) have the miss chance in an area shrouded in magical darkness.
Normal lights (torches, candles, lanterns, and so forth) are incapable of brightening the area, as are light spells of lower level. Higher level light spells are not affected by darkness.
If darkness is cast on a small object that is then placed inside or under a lightproof covering, the spell’s effect is blocked until the covering is removed.
Darkness counters or dispels any light spell of equal or lower spell level.

Mordiun is a witness to Mystra's blessing twice today. Sadly the same couldn't be said for his fighting progress as he axe fails to hit once again. And despite his best attempt the snake still breaks through his defense once more. Are the dwarven gods that disappointed of his betrayal they would risk the faith of the world to see him punished?

As these ideas crawl through his mind as the noise of the Sound Burst spell. While unpleasant the ranger was lucky enough not to be cauthed in it. But to it's horror the priestess was not that lucky.

Ready to remove the nearest threat next to the cleric. Eyes on the snake that had bitten him multi-able times and weapons on the the snake who failed to bite Axara this time. And as it is already wounded a lot the ranger would make sure it doesn't get that change ever!

Maesyn clutches the cup in his hand, preventing its magic from obscuring his allies' vision. He sees Axara stunned and the Dwarf continue to get hit, but he's not sure what he could do to fix that.

Lacking a better idea, he tosses the cup far behind him, where its shadows won't reach the location of the battle. He also drops the long bow he'd picked up and draws his rapier, ready to move in to help in melee.

Maesyn gets rid of the cup of darkness behind and the hallway behind them is now in total darkness. He drops the bow and picks up his rapier, ready to join the melee.

The enlarged Savin asks Axara to move behind him but the priestess does not reply. He unleashes his spike ball towards the 3rd serpent and is sure he will hit it but at the last second the serpent moves.

Ryxikor also tells the priestess to move behind him. He waits for her answer.

Axara responds to both men calls by dropping her mace and not moving. She has been stunned by the sound burst.

Ryxikor decides to move and attack the second serpent with both is weapon. Organripper, his favorite pierces the serpent skin.

Mordiun, still in his defensive move attacks DS2 with both his axe and his mace. The axe feels cursed as it sails wide above the snake’s head but the mace connect and crushes the head against the ground, killing the magical beast.

DS3 attacks the stunned priestess but its fangs do not pierce her armor. DS1 has Mordiun number and regardless of the dwarf effort, bites through his defense like it is butter.

With all of the shadow guards and one of the serpents gone, maybe the tide will start to turn in the favor of this motley crew. Ryx decides to try and help the Mystran champion, Mordiun. The agile elf jumps and does a forward roll right past the dwarf, and continues on tumbling by to stop right next to another of the magical snakes, and instantly turns and slashes out with his drow prize, organripper.

It wasn't the fear of dying that filled it's Heart caused by the Bane effect. It was fear of it's soul.

As Ryx attacked the serpent that was Mordiun herald of doom. The dwarf decides to take his distance moving finally to H4. But not before he lashes out to the displacer snake. Overtaken by the Bane spell he forgets his defence.

His faith a bit wavering he prays to Mystra that the snake would take interest in the elf now.

Ooc: If it is okay i like Moradin to 5 step H4 and get the healing potion on Axara's belt.

i doubt the next action isn't possible this round but pooring the potion in Axara's trouth. (if possible only half of it and Moradin drinking the other half)

i doubt that will work. But it is worth a shot

Initiative: Maesyn, Savin, Ryxikor, Axara, Mordiun, enemies

Maesyn moves past the massive Savin and shows the rest of the group how to hit a displacer serpent. The bard who was worried about not being able to help has been a tremendous force so far.

Savin will not let the half-elf out stage him and with a strong determination, he wings the spike ball around Maesyn and pins the displacer serpent against the wall, cutting it in two pieces.

Ryxikor tumble past Mordiun and the displacer serpent and tries to skewer it but his prize dagger misses horribly. He nearly stabs himself.

Axara regain control of her body and wants to end the threat of Lady Arthas. She picks up her mace fro mthe ground and calls for Mystra to grant her magic to stop the worshipper of her goddess worst enemy ‘Mystra, please help me keep that evil spawn in one place and unable of moving!

Mordiun, still in doubt about his new found faith tries to hit the serpent but both of his attacks are weak and fail to make contact.
