Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
Mordiun didn't notice the snake missing him this time as he was still shaken by Axara's hold person spell for a second i thought she was revering to him.
The dwarf wasn't sure any more who revered to him as an allie. But for now he still knew who his enemies where.

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
Initiative: Maesyn, Savin, Ryxikor, Axara, Mordiun, enemies
Maesyn moves strategically to flank DS1 and hit the helpless woman and hurt her. He sees her hatred in her eyes.
Savin ignore Axara calls to kill Lady Arthas and instead attack the displacer serpent. Somehow, at the last second the snake avoid the killing blow.
Ryxikor also ignores Axara’s call for kill and decides to finish the serpent. Somehow both of his deadly attempts miss the mark.
Axara shouts ‘Why aren’t you finishing her. If she breaks my spell, we will be in big trouble! ’ She is irate that only Maesyn understood the importance of the situation. She moves next to Lady Arthas (in K1) and attack her with her mace. She does however little damages to the Shar priestess.
Mordiun, also ignores Axara’s request and tries to finish the serpent. However, like Savin and Ryxikor before him, he fails in his attempt to kill the magical creature.
The snake who survive 5 deadly attacks is incapable however to bite Mordiun.
Lady Arthas somehow is incapable of to break Axara’s spell on her.
Axara breathes in relief Mystra has given us a second chance. Let’s finish her!

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
Initiative: Maesyn, Savin, Ryxikor, Axara, Mordiun, enemies
Maesyn faces Lady Arthas and the hatred in her eyes tells him what he should next. He tries to kill her but somehow he hesitates at the last moment and only scratch the cleric of Shar.
Savin implores Lady Arthas to surrender and attack the displacer serpent. Once again, Savin deadly attack is avoided by the snake.
Ryxikor tries to tumble past the displacer serpent (DC25 per SRD). He fails which allows the serpent to attack him. However the nimble elf avoid the snake scary fangs. Ryxikor tries to attack the snake who easily avoid the blade.
Axara shouts ‘She is evil! We need to eliminate her before she regains her powers! ’ She tries to crush the skull of the cleric of Shar but her armor protects her.
Mordiun, moves away from the serpent (in K2) and hit Lady Arthas with both axe and mace.
The cleric of Shar is bloodied but still breathing and full of hatred for the group.
The snake attacks Ryxikor now that Mordiun has moved away. However, the snake fangs are no match for the elf’s defense.
Lady Arthas finally breaks the hold that Axara’s spell had on her. Time to die, Mystran!. She starts casting her spell defensively. The blank symbol around her neck starts shining and evil light as she touches Axara. As she poses her hand on the cleric of Mystra, wounds starts opening on Axara. The Mystra focuses and prevent some of the damages causes by the evil spell.

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
For a moment Mordiun worries he would confuse both woman from each other.
Both seem quite bloodied the color of the uniform almost washed away.
He then rembers to focus on the crazy looking one.. but even Axara oppesion to get the Shar prietress killed.
He lets loose a small prayer to Mystra in his native dwarven speech. To protect his Mystran from both friendly as enemy attacks.

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
Initiative: Maesyn, Savin, Ryxikor, Axara, Mordiun, enemies
Maesyn moves 5 steps flanking Lady Arthas with Savin and allowing Ryxikor to flank the displacer serpent. He readies his rapier, waiting to strike for when Arthas stats her new incantation.
Savin unleashes his spike chain and would have hit any other opponent but that displacer snake.
Ryxikor makes a 5 steps move to use Maesyn distraction on the snake. Although his digger is small and people might call it puny, the expert elf finds a small weakness in the serpent skin which allows Ryxikor to split the snake throat open, killing it instantly.
Axara, realizes that there is some hesitation in her new team members. She decides to boost their morale using Mystra’s help. She cast a spell that make everyone feel more confident.

Maesyn ignores the impotent insults... nothing worse than he'd overheard in the taverns of Evereska or Arabel. But he finds himself overmatched physically, and he has little choice but to retreat. His rapier was barely scratching the woman's armor, and her spells of harm were potent.

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
Savin, seeing his effect, continues to lash out at the down evil priestess, hoping they can finish her off.
"You had your chance, foul spawn of Shar. Now, prepare to meet her!" He yells out as he strikes again with his chain.

Re: Cormyr - The Tearing of the Wave
As Savins chain flies overhead Mordiun missing it's target terribly is tempted to give the warrior a peace of his mind on where he could stick that big chain of his. But pressing matters and decides to keep it more civil.
"Just ask when we should make an opening big guy!"
Hoping he could get the Sharian priestess mad enough to make mistakes. He takes his usual defensive position and slings some more taunts toward her.
"Speaking about Aberrations, your sure your not related to one? As you have quite some quirks of your grandparents."
The dwarf smiles as he makes another attempt with his axe and mace.
<ooc: if possible the next part is for the AoO>
"Eyes that could frighten children--" the dwarf face turns into disgust "--and a breath that could turn a grown man to stone"
SpoilerAC 20 (including dodge feat and fighting defensively )
Hp: 10/29 (i am going to regret this)
