I suddenly have a horrible suspicion on how exactly Duane became a zombie. And I really, really hope I'm wrong.

    GRRR!
    SO confusing!
I missed something. How did we go from Mikaela getting stabbed to her walking into some hole in the wall?

It's more than hallucination. Magic's real and he's near death. He, too, is walking the line between worlds.

Mikaila survives though, right? There are letters in her hand, from after this event. I kinda think Duane has a bit of fight left in him still. Not that this is ending well, by any stretch - but .... still.

On an another note - unbased and wildly speculative - I've kinda convinced myself that Sette/Jivi/Matty are a traditional adventuring party - rogue/fighter/mage. And if so, this entire part of the comic may be seen as a prelude. That the kids will grow up and take over for their failing parents, at any rate.

    What letters?

By the way: on page 107, last panel, is that the silhouette of Lemuel?

Uh ... I'ma try and find link.

Edit: Here's the first one. They aren't listed anywhere, you need to manually alter the url. Anyways, it seems MA is Mikaila Adelier.

Almost. Sette needs some reality checks to stop her from growing up to be a total monster like her "Da". This is a good start.

The cleaning lizard didn't seem too surprised.

End of chapter, so that means a month hiatus until Aug 30th. I'm really looking forward to how this plays out in the interaction between Duane and Sette.

But since we're starting with different characters, we'll have to wait for how Duane and Sette react to the khert experience.

YAY!!!! It's been a long wait, but worth it. The song the soldiers are singing is great.
I LOVE this world. So rich & detailed, so pretty, even the ugly parts.

The idea that Jivi, Sette & Matty might grow up to become an adventuring party...
    IT MUST HAPPEN!

Stumbled upon this webcomic a couple of days ago, and it IS pretty great. I really like the art, and the author really have a flair to properly convey emotions through his (her ? I didn't do my homework on this front) drawings. Still got the few pages of chapter 8 to read, I'll get right back on it.

Ashley Cope is a her (I know some male Ashley's so it's definitely not a given).

I'm mildly confused at what the other two guys are talking about with the First Silk thing they claim dibs on. Probably something I'm forgetting from earlier comics, but don't have the time to get caught in yet another archive crawl!
