Karyana pauses, looking slightly conflicted, before nodding.

"To the extent that I can, yes... But I'm not perfect, and there are some cases where I'm not certain I'd be in the best frame of mind to do so."

Carrie smiles.
That's fine.
She hugs her, then kisses her forehead.
I pronounce you a paladin of Carrion, Death Inaugurated.

Karyana smiles as well, looking relieved, and returns Carrie's hug.

"Thank you, Carrie."

She grins.

Karyana nods, grinning back.

Now I get to give you a bunch of stuff!
She summons a sweet top hat, a Carrionite necklace, and some other little things.

Karyana's grin widens, and she puts on the top hat and the necklace, going to hug Carrie again.

"Thanks!"

Carrie bounces excitedly on the balls of her feet.
I have two paladins now, and only one of them is tenchically me in the first place!

"The other one is Sioda, right?", Karyana asks, seeming rather excited as well. "Is she here? I've missed her, and it would be nice to have her at whatever sort of celebration there is..."

Not that she'd originally expected a celebration of her paladinhood, but given Carrie's level of excitement, it certainly seems like a reasonable assumption that there's going to be one.

First is the kitchen; everything, including the counters, is set flush with the walls, and painted with a phoenix rising from a bonfire, as a group - mainly elves, with a few humans and half-elves - watches, and dances around the flames.

Din smiles in approval "...this looks stunning...the craftsmanship that went into it...I don't think we'll need any changes here..."

Trium grins, jokingly taking a bow, though her voice is serious when she speaks.

Sable Guides join them on their way to a sort of recreation room; Karyana is swiftly surrounded by excited gals with far too much eye makeup on, all of whom are quick to offer hugs of congratulation.

Karyana is perfectly happy to return their hugs as they go, grin widening, and, if one of them is the one Rizell was with at the wedding, tries to keep a wing around her when the hug ends.

She hugs back, grinning.

Carrie smiles; Sioda comes in, waving.

Karyana waves back to Sioda, heading over to the other paladin, and going to hug her tightly.

"Hey! How have you been?"

Defelent's House

Tracy gives Naethalee a hug back, and follows her to Defelent's room.

Defelent smiles up at them when he sees them. "Hello, Nymiiria. I think I'll have a shower now, would you care to join me?" Defelent winks.

"Oh, I think I just might have to do that. Have to make sure everything gets...clean, after all." Naethalee grins!

Karyana waves back to Sioda, heading over to the other paladin, and going to hug her tightly.

"Hey! How have you been?"

She hugs back, grinning.

"Very! I like the new eyepatch, by the way; it suits you."

Thanks! I was tired of wearing the bandages all the time.

"You're welcome! Though, if you don't mind me asking, why do you need it?"

She blinks, as if that should make lots of sense, which it does, probably.

Karyana laughs softly, and kindly, going to kiss Sioda's forehead.

"You're the girlfriend of one goddess, know another, who you're an Aspect of, and live in a base with the highest number of healers per cubic foot in the Nexus, dear. I was wondering why your eye stayed missing after you lost it."

"It's kind of how I manifested in the first place." She shrugs. "Stuff is weird like that, but since I'm manifested from a very vulnerable time in Carrie's life, I guess the scars and missing eye make sense."

Defelent's House

"Does this mean I need to wash between my ears? That space contains an awful lot of dirt, and I've grown fond of most of it." Defelent grins slyly as he climbs out of bed and heads towards the bathroom. He grabs a pair of undies for after, but doesn't bother putting anything on.

Karyana frowns, going to hug her again, letting go of the Guide to do so this time.

The vampire nods, though she's still frowning.

"It's just.... Kinda sucks for you, to be stuck with all that, y'know? I know you do fine, and you're beautiful anyway, but..."
