Karyana nods, grinning back.

"Especially since we've been kind of wanting to be with Tsiln for a while now, and I'm pretty sure she's felt the same way."

That's nice... Tsin sure is a cutie, isn't she?
She giggles.

[Lady Serpentine]

The vampire nods.

"Yep, she is. And a good person, too."

[Beans]

I'm glad you're happy with her.
Angela's gonna be pretty happy about it too, I bet.

[Lady Serpentine]

[Intermission]

"We're pretty glad we're happy with her too," Karyana teases, smiling. "But why will Angela necessarily care? I know Tsiln's a priestess of her, and that helping us is part of her job in addition to being something she's doing as a friend, but it sounds like you meant more than that..."

[Beans]

"I just meant she'll be happy that Tsiln is doing her job and feeling better---she wasn't feeling so great recently."

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana nods, frowning.

"She told me about that; someone wanting her to leave HALO for some reason..."

[Beans]

Carrie sighs. "Din. She's more trouble than she's worth..."

[Lady Serpentine]

[Intermission]

Karyana nods.

"She sounds like it... Didn't she cause problems for someone else we know, and your granddaughter, at one point?"

[Beans]

She nods. "Lellienth and Lisa, yeah... ugh, Din's just bad news for everyone."

[Lady Serpentine]

[Intermission]

The vampire goes to hug her tightly, frowning.

"Yeah... Which is strange; she seemed nice enough, when I met her. Not that we exactly spoke for a long time, admittedly."

[Beans]

Fooled me too... she doesn't really try to be trouble, but she's not exactly good at keeping other people out of her troubles.

[Lady Serpentine]

"I see... What troubles of her own did she pull Tsiln into by asking her to leave HALO, though? Or with whatever happened with Lellienth and Lisa?"

[Beans]

With Tsiln... she wanted to leave, but Tsiln didn't want to---and thus felt like she was letting her down.
As for Lisa... drow hurt her in her past, so it's absolute hell trying to convince her that not every drow is evil.

[Lady Serpentine]

"I see... Despite the fact that Lellienth is a priestess in good standing with one of the better-known good churches, Din thought she was evil? And speaking of them, how exactly does Lisa know Lellienth, anyway?"

[Beans]

They met at HALO, and Lellienth reachedout to Lisa---being Din and Amanda's kid was hard when Din was never around and Amanda... suddenly was gone.
She swallows.

Karyana hugs Carrie tightly, rubbing her back and wings.

"Sorry..."

[Beans]

Carrie snuggles closer, sniffling a little, and sighs.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana goes to cocoon Carrie in her wings, frowning.

[Beans]

She kisses her forehead.
Thanks, Karyana...

Karyana smiles a bit, and kisses Carrie's cheek.

"You're welcome, Carrie... You've done this for me enough times, y'know? And even if you hadn't, and I didn't want to as a friend, it's sort of my job as one of your paladins, I'm pretty sure..."

She smiles.
Yeah, well, thanks...
She hugs tighter.

[Lady Serpentine]

Karyana snuggles closer to her as well, smiling back.

"Again, you're welcome, dear. I'm glad I could help."

Carrie relaxes in her friend and paladin's arms, sighing.

Karyana smiles, perfectly happy to hold her goddess/friend for as long as Carrie likes.

Carrie eventually sits up.
This has been nice...

Karyana nods, smiling up at her.

"It has... Is that a subtle message that it's time to go?"

She shakes her head.
Huh? Oh, no, not unless you want to.

Karyana shakes her head as well, smile widening.

"No, not at all. I just wanted to make sure..."
