i messaged rich through kickstarter about sales tax in texas. he told me to send him the tax payment to him through paypal. then message him back on kickstarter.

so, if you didnt get the chance to add sales tax to your pledge, message rich on kickstarter. he'll tell you what to do. it took a few days to answer, but no worries.

Well, just found out I have to move by the end of May. Guess I'll be emailing Rich with a change of address for shipping once I find out where I am going to be after that.

If you have to change your address or you didn't pay for postage, definitely message me on Kickstarter about it. However, for changes of address, don't message me with changes until you 1.) know what your new address is going to be, and 2.) are reasonably confident that a book mailed to that address will get to you. Because when you send me a new address, I simply input it into the system; I have no way of noting, "Use this address after April Xth," or the like.

For sales tax, if the amount you owe is over $2.00, message me about it. If it's under $2, forget about it. PayPal will eat it up with fees anyway. I'll just pay it myself out of the surplus money.

And for any corrections like this, if you emailed me and I didn't respond, you can email me again. (Don't do this if you are just asking a question or making a request of some kind, only if you know for a fact that you need to correct something that is wrong.)

You only get the magnet now when that's the only physical object that you signed up for.
The other things are not yet produced, and Rich is only going to send one package per person.

So if you're also expect a book, game or other swag you'll have to wait with the rest of us.

I'm rather interested to know who the walk-on cameo is going to be. I can't fathom anyone pledging that much without having a definate idea of who he wanted to appear in the comic.
Will we be notified on the main GiantITP newsposts when the walk-on cameo makes their appearance? I'd like to know who it is, as there's a lot of NPCs in the comic/world, so being able to give credit where it's due would be great.

It's going to be one of their own characters. The Giant said he'd announce it when he did put the character in as well. Also, I believe he said that that person would also get a small line? Not sure on the final one.

Have the surveys for the Patience packages gone out yet? I've had a look at my settings and the account email matches the one that update notifications are going to.

No, it's USPS. First Class for magnets and magnet-and-patch envelopes, Priority Mail for everyone else.

Oh, thank you. I think my college forwards USPS packages, so if I go home before the package arrives I can just have it forwarded home.

You could also write me a message through the Kickstarter message system and tell me to change your order to your home address. Since the books haven't arrived yet, that's still pretty easy for us to do. (Once the books arrive in Houston, I'll be forwarding all of the orders to the Ookoodook people, so it will be somewhat harder for anyone after to change addresses after that.)

I wonder if we're allowed to discuss the update schedule...

Now I need to remember when I'm moving out of my flat.

Anyone have any idea how long in normally takes for a package to come from the US to the UK?

Express Mail is up to a week to Europe. Priority is probably 1-3 weeks.

USPS says Priority International is 6-10 business days to the UK, so it should be 1-2 weeks. Customs is always a crapshoot, though.
