So...mmm...I’ve been feeling a little odd recently. I’m generally happy with my life. But...I’ve got this constant desire to be someone else.

I’ve been living out this desire through a character of mine, and she has become something of an alter ego for me, to the degree where people will call me her, instead of my usual name. And this character, is now what I would consider a part of me. She may only be a part of me I feel I can be on the internet, but still me.

Does that make sense? Is it weird?

I’m just a bit confused is all, and any advice or comments on this you have will be appreciated.

(There are still problems in Northern Ireland, but generally, things are so much better than they were.) As far as I can tell, every other country likes the Irish! Having an Irish passport is a privilege.

That's an interesting point alright. If I was in America, being born Irish or culturally Irish wouldn't be a privileged position. But here, it definitely is. Like I suppose being, say, Muslim, isn't a privilege here, but would be in Turkey.
