But people are like that. They come up with asinine reasons for things, and whether they tell you the real reason or not, it sounds rubbish.
I don't know if it's the sorta thing that works for you, but maybe try to move on. If you want an actual relationship, try casual dating for a while, and then choose the one that most appeals to you.

Otherwise you're stuck like me, wishing you had someone to squeeze up to and use as a pillow every night instead only on days where one of your friends is up to it.

Okay that sounded more depressing than it was supposed to. What I'm trying to say is, for every person you want to cuddle, there's (speaking from statistics and probability) at least one person who wants to cuddle you.

That's what love basically is, right? Wanting someone's presence and cuddles despite all else? Knowing you can do more than live with them, that you can BE with them?

I don't know right now. This pretty much ruined my day. She apologized, and we're still good friends. We were beforehand, and we are after.

The worst part, when it comes to women, is I'm terrible at that stuff. I had to actually be taught social cues (Asperger's), so if a girl is flirting with me, I'm oblivious. I can't exactly ask to be taught these cues, either, because my friends at my school do one of two things:

A. They have Asperger's Syndrome too, so it's a lost cause.

B. They say "it just comes to you, y'know?" (NO, I DON'T! )

On a lighter note, I'm good friends with the Vice-Principal, to the point where casual talks about Valve games is norm. We're both huge fans of Half Life, Left 4 Dead, and other stuff. Point is, he allows me one visit per month to see all my old friends, so that's going to be my Friday.

Yes, my VP is letting me skip half of my day to go to my other school.

And the funny thing is, I'm not really all that bummed about earlier today. It hurts, yes, but I'm trying to move past it. I've always thought a hundred moves ahead, and I'm certainly thinking about those moves now.

She didn't apologize or anything at all. I walk in, she looks shocked to see me, stammers about not expecting me over.

Sorry, my methods usually involve getting through anything bad as quickly and efficiently as possible. I figure the less stress it causes me, the less time I have to waste in a psychiatrist's office. Someone who spends that much time trying to figure out just why people are always so damn angry just weirds me out. I don't like being analyzed.

EDIT: I have Asperger's and ADHD and I've been diagnosed with sociopathy but I don't buy that bit, so I know what it's like, everyone expecting you to act all weird or take this or that and something missing social cues and not understanding why people are so stupidly violent. I guess I'm just lucky my friends are so understanding.

Also, having a teacher who plays vidjya games is cool. I decided not to go with the senior release program at my private school because my synthetic biology level 3 class is too fun. We spend half the day turning bacteria into radios and the other half playing TF2. Mr. Bain's gotta be my favorite teacher.

From what I understand, though, everyone has to put up with a learning process with relationships. People say that you'll just know things, but that explanation doesn't really make any sense (if they don't know how to do it, then how do they do it in the first place? )...

Asperger's is something I take extreme pride in. I don't use it as an excuse, I use it as an explanation. Anything else is just abusing that diagnosis, and that's the last thing I want to do. I carry around the badge of Autism like a golden medal. Of course, I don't HAVE a physical badge. Wish I did, though.

I can confuse myself as well. I understand your reasoning, so I apologize. Yes, I've been diagnosed with sociopathy. Does it mean I have it? No. My mom doesn't believe I have ADHD either, she just thinks I'm lazy. I'm still diagnosed with it. I do have Asperger's, and I'm as proud of it as the Deaf community is of being hearing impaired (and they are, to the point where they capitalize "Deaf").

So my apologies, once again.
