That made me feel a ton better. I also went a bit silly and took one of those gender identity tests (the SAGE test); I think they're really silly but it feels good to sometimes seems it all be affirmed...

Ooh, I know the feeling. I get really anxious about breaking up with my partner. Then he's like "You're doing that thing where you're worrying about something that might not even happen and certainly won't happen very soon, like not being able to breastfeed, or losing your job to ageism." I'm an anxious person!

That could be fixed with Portal technology or link-up robots, but then you might have been tired of me glomping you every few hours.

I'd appreciate some glomps, if it wasn't, like ALL the time and wasn't going to happen, say, awkwardly in the middle of me having snuggles with my partner / showering / putting my tights on. But I'd be very anxious about the robot link failing and my baby being left functionally alone.

We'd be watching you have a bath instead. Lil Shiro can watch the baby - he's not interested in your bathing anyway.

To be honest there, Asta, hon, I'm not sexy in the bath. I use loads and loads of bubbles and then play with my bath crayons or my Playmobil SEAPLANE!! It's so COOL!! I've got two gender-undetermined police officers, called Alex and Sammy. No baddies, though. Because I am an adult now, and it's my turn to decide what that means.

You guys don't have crowds and people on the streets? Would've thought you all had more of those due to more people walking to or from public transit.

That was more of a joke. Also, I meant, you'd likely know or be able to get in touch with a friend of said waitress, if you were really taken, and engineer to meet her in a bar or somewhere more appropriate to propositions.

And I get it now!

I couldn't do a female part, my voice isn't good enough yet. But my big wave o' dysphoria a few weeks back did hit in the lead up to show week for the last show, and I didn't want to go to rehearsals that weekend because I didn't want to have to sing bass and play my (very definitely male) character.

Most of the time I'm fine with it, though. It's not me on stage, it's a character I'm playing.

I tried to get a lingerie shot as well, but couldn't get a decent one.

I showed to my partner, and was like "What do you think?" and he said "What do you mean?" and I said "Start basic!" and he said "It's a woman!" and I said "Do you think she looks nice?" and he said "Yeah, she's pretty." Then I explained and he was impressed. Also, so am I; you look great!

No clue if they're supposed to be powdered; I had had that thought myself. Me being dry is not the problem - both the adhesive and the tape stick to me just fine. They don't, however, stick to the forms.

Got very sad yesterday evening due to a documentary about the earth quake and tsunami in Japan, and I started to think about it and [other sad events around the world], so I was very down for a few hours. Virtual *hugs* from Astrella and other members of the Giantitp Facebook Chat helped. Thank you!

My hand eczema is improving, but I've still been to the doctor and I'll get an appointment at the skin clinic in the city later.

I still haven't made a call to or e-mailed the counsellor at the university; I promise myself to e-mail this evening.

Good point, though I think Internet provides with the mixed blessing of anonymity, which allow certain persons who otherwise would behave to spew out hate and/or [redacted].

Crowds do that too, sometimes. That's a good point, though... :/

I'm not particularly big, and I don't know about intimidating. I'm only 176 cm, and just under 80 kilos at the moment. Instead of a normal bracelet (those kept breaking) I made one out of some 60-70 lb steel chain. And I'm usually kind of scruffy due to not shaving daily. Also I have no idea whose red car that is in my driveway. o_o

I could see myself being friends or maybe even in romantic love with some AI:s, especially HAL 9000, and the computers of Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Moonbase Alpha in Space: 1999.

As for androids and cyborgs, I could see myself with Seven of Nine (Star Trek: Voyager) and Rachael (Blade Runner).

I, Robot: Ooh, I'd forgotten about Stephen. Add Mr. Byerly to the list. I was thinking specifically about the supercomputer who deliberately includes "errors" that it knows the humans on the other ends will catch in its plans so they don't feel left out and won't get complacent.

Foundation: I don't think either. The novel before Foundation And Earth, where they have the showdown between Foundation, Second Foundation, and the Robots at the end...

Others: HAL 9000 is the only one of those I can claim real familiarity with, and he mostly just makes me angry. Waaaaay overconfident without (in my opinion) balancing positive personality traits that would make me overlook it.

And yeah. Rachael is a fox, but for Blade Runner I had more of a thing for Roy and Pris. Who, conveniently, in their portrayal might be up for a threesome.

My complaints with these videos can mostly be summed up as "teenagers.*" He seems like a good guy, congrats.

*Nothing wrong with teenagers per se, but I've lived through 400 generations of remarkably uniform assertions of uniqueness in the history of forever, so teenage love declarations have kind of... worn thin.** If it makes you feel better, I feel the same way about grandparents.***

** And yet I still manage to go through a "stupid love" phase every time I go through puberty, even knowing it's coming and what it will look like and (theoretically) how to avoid it. I swear there's something wrong with me. You know, apart from the mortal damage to my core systems.

***If you were wondering, any time an elderly person complains about the new generation being lazy, immoral, careless, etc. compared to prior generations... you can assure them from someone who was present at the beginning of agriculture that every generation prior to them has made the same stupidly false accusations.
