Okay, at this point I'm pretty sure I'm properly genderfluid. My identity has been getting more and more feminine over the past few weeks, to the point where hearing male pronouns used about me just now felt odd. How irritating. Why can't I just pick a gender and stick with it?

At least it explains why I took so long to work out my identity - it changes.

Is finding out good? It's great that you can pass so well, it means you can present as whichever, so strangers will treat you correctly. And hopefully you'll have a core group of friends who know you're fluid, and who can try to use pronouns based on how you're presenting, although I imagine it'll be confusing for them.

Indeed. I like to think I'm fairly versatile with what looks I can pull off, but there are some that just don't work for me no matter how hard I try, unfortunately. A lot of people don't pay attention to what looks good on their body when it comes to clothing, hairstyle, and makeup, and just choose things which they've seen work well on other people.

You look fabulous, by the way. I think your facial hair works quite well, which is something you will rarely hear me say about anyone.

Harvest Moon: Korobokkuru Station For Girls had a thinly-veiled Gay Option, allowing you to use a "Best Friends Ceremony" to get one of the special wives from the male version to move in with you and eventually bring you a baby, as if they were a husband. This was removed for the US version, Harvest Moon DS Cute — more obnoxiously, Natsume refused to confirm they removed it, and they left in all the related scenes up to actually "proposing", so it's taken hours of work by dedicated players to, in fact, confirm it's not in there. Fans are understandably annoyed.

The ceremony + child makes me think the subtext got pretty explicit, though since I haven't played the japanese version I can't directly comment.

Edit: Also, modern Kneebiter looks cuter IMO.

I'd say beauty is certainly in the eye of the beholder on this, long-hair Nibbler looks quite nice to me. The current look is certainly very nice, but the old one is hardly terrible.

Perhaps many who seem to do poorly are merely following another idea of beauty? The beholder has many eyes, after all. Some even Charm People! :3

Although, I never quite liked how people's choice of style are valued on how pleasing they are to others. Some of us are actually trying to warn you about our SAN-damaging presence!

I have no personal experience with dating, but my eavesdropping suggest that very few actually succeed often in asking someone out. The successful ones simply keep trying until the odds hands them someone compatible and unattached.
I know I am terrible at cheering people up, but I am sure you will get a yes very soon if you don't give up hope. Perhaps it may even be someone who asks you!

So um... We did a lot of hand holding. The pop culture/entertainment museum was really cool, but smaller than we expected so we got through quickly. We then decided to go to the art museum and saw a lecture on 2012, the Mayan calendar, and the end of the world, still holding hands. We left at the end, but a bunch of people stayed to ask question, and the one lady was a real bitch cuz we had to walk past her to get out and she didn't want to move her damn legs so she was like "Can't you wait five more minutes?" and when I told her my dad was waiting for us, she was like "Mhm. Sure..."

Then we drove him back to his house, still holding hands.
