"Hi, Eric. I heard the babies were born, so I brought some food by. I thought you might be too busy for the next few days to come to the kitchen to eat."

Pansy has a big basket, and the smell of freshly baked bread is coming from it.

[Rowan Cabin]

"Uh, come in. You're... Mrs. Applehill, right?" Eric boggles at the bread. Just how much is in there?

Rowan Cabin

"Yes, we met at the Main Cabin, when you first arrived," Pansy says. She looks for a place to set the basket down. In addition to bread, there's also cheese, cold meat, spreads - basically it's a basket of sammich fixings. There's even a bread knife. "How is Julie doing?"

[Lex-Kat]

{Beach}

"Oh yes. You're quite beautiful." Reinholdt says without hesitation. "I bet all the nicely tanned island boys will be chasing after you." He says, tilting his head to give her a playful grin.

No. I don't have anyone chasing after me. Or... so I thought. I was recently told that someone close to me loves me.

{Infirmary}

Marty walks over to the infirmary slowly. On the way he asks her, Um...D-do y-you w-work h-here? I...I d-don't th-think...that...I....

Lotsa stuff.......

The flashes of memories last a mere five seconds. During this time Marty will try to squeeze her hand tightly. He eventually snaps out of it and then starts to collapse to the floor unless influenced.

No, I don't work here. And let go of my.... Vidalia starts to pull her hand away from Marty's, but feels him begin to collapse and tries to catch him. Help!! she calls out.

Sophie listens to the explanation with interest - she's never heard of such creatures before - but before she can answer, Pansy walks in.
Good morning, Mrs. Applehill, she says politely. She doesn't really know Pansy that well, except that it was her husband who she saved from kidnappers, getting shot in the process.

Poor Marty's head reeled and his stomach switled. The cooks memories flashed through his mind at great speeds. It hurt him. It hurt him to see everything...His own mind wouldn't let him go. He was caught in a vortex of his own mind. His thoughts wete ripped away as red hot anger replaced them. He was in another bout of madness. Though this was not as severe as others. He tried to fight it with the little strength he could muster, if only he was left alone. If she hadn't approached him...he was furious at them all...all those who would exploit him. All those who had. He fought his urges to grab the woman by the neck...to kill her...But he fought it and soon regained his composure.

The cook is now noticeably sweating. He tries to move out of Vidalia's arm's but hurts his foot. The odd foot he had. Marty starts explaining in pain, W-wait! I'm f-f-fine! H-help m-me...

[Reinholdt]

{Beach}

No. I don't have anyone chasing after me. Or... so I thought. I was recently told that someone close to me loves me.

{Beach}

"That was future tense." Reinholdt explains. Speaking of tense, Reinholdt tenses up right about now. "Who told you that?"

[Halae]

[Rowan Cabin]

The coffee table will be as good a place as any to place the basket of bread. Eric will immediately reach for a bagel if there is one, and eat it plain; he's always enjoyed the taste of plain bread, and bagels are delicious, "Julie is doing well. She had someone to visit, so left Keo, Sophie, and I here with the girls."

It then occurs to Eric that he is veritably surrounded by women. Not that that really means much, but it's an interesting observation.

Keo stops suddenly. She examines her dice... and deems it square enough to be a good dice! She marks it with Xs and Os in the right way, and puts it down.

"One done! I just need to do five more by the beginning of spring!"

She looks around a bit.

Jamie, hearing a shout for help, rushes over to assist!
"What's going on?!"

Now, As I recall Thenadier gave Tobias a communication device that Tobias could watch over Reynard with. Well, If Tobias has the device in his backpack or on his wrist then he should hear it beeping. It seems Thenadier is trying to communicate.

As it just so happens, Toby doesn't have such a communicator and won't for over fifteen years! The Toby that stays in GLoG is a younger version of the one in HALO, on account of Temporal Shenanigans.

This Toby, blue eyed and young, notices Reinholdt and Melody down at the beach. Time to start walking in the opposite direction like he doesn't notice them! The commotion near his infirmary catches his attention, so he starts meandering that way.

"Oh, is that one of the babies?" Pansy asks, looking at Scylla. "She's certainly unusual. I never saw non-halfling children before coming here. Oh Keo, dear, have you had anything to eat?"

I don't know. I was escorting him to the infirmary, when he suddenly collapsed. Maybe it's his bad foot?

Huh? Oh, right. she shrugs. But now we are talking the present. I'm just wondering what I should do about it. This guy's kinda cute, but he's got a girlfriend. I think I'd feel icky be the one to break them up.

Marty tries to struggle out Vidalia's grasp weakly. He stutters out, I-I'm f-fine....h-headache.....I do not h-h-have a b-bad f-foot! Marty is obviously rather uncomfortable about anyone talking about his foot. He once again tries to struggle away pathetically. Please? I-I'm f-fine. V-vidalia....

[Reinholdt]

"Oh. Yeah, that is tricky." Reinholdt says, rolling back onto his back with a frown.

"I've never been real great at relationships though, so I doubt I have any good advice for you."
He's totally jealous of that guy though.

Rowan Cabin

"Hmm."

Keo gathers up her stuff and her flint knife and puts it in the box fort.

"I'm going to go take a nap,m. Bye Eric'r! Take good care of the kits,r!"

She will then head out the door. A moment later, there will be some scrabbling as Keo climbs onto the roof, apparently having chosen that as her napping spot.

"Oh. Yeah, that is tricky." Reinholdt says, rolling back onto his back with a frown.

"I've never been real great at relationships though, so I doubt I have any good advice for you."
He's totally jealous of that guy though.

Of course, if he was to break it off with her first.... Well, I might consider asking him out. He seams kinda shy.

Which is strange, since he otherwise seems to be outgoing. I wonder if it's just an act. Melody rolls over onto her side, looking at Reinholdt. So, how's Ermine?

"Oh, dear. We'd better get him to see my mom!" the young redheaded Magical Girl says, hurrying forwards to the Infirmary to alert Quinn!

Reinholdt is quiet for a bit.
"Maybe it's the outgoing that's an act?"

His nose twitches a little.
"I haven't seen her in a while. It's... strange. I guess I'm so used to adventuring that I never thought I'd have to deal with it from someone else. But we meet, we drink rum, we kiss, sometimes go ro... treasure hunting and then we disappear from each other for weeks."

Marty is squeezed rather tightly now and quits struggling. He realizes that resisting will only cause her to squeeze tighter...which would be bad. Marty merely turns red at all the attention. I-I I'm f-fine...Going t-to infirmary now...Stop sq-squeezing m-md! St...stop....p-please..

"Meant for each other? Hmm... don't know if I believe in that concept anymore. I do know I enjoy having her around when she's around. I don't know. I mean I know I still do my own share of adventuring."

It's almost as if things are complicated!
Which doesn't seem any fun.

This guy's claiming he's alright, but I know his foot needs to be looked at. And I suspect that's the least of it.

When Vidalia realizes he's not struggling any more, she loosens her hold. It'll be alright.... whatever your name is. They're good people here.

I-I'm f-fine...I d-don't need h-help....m-my f-f-foot is f-fine....Take me th-there then...just d-don't hurt m-me... Marty shrinks away from Vidalia and once again stands perfectly balanced on his damaged "foot". It seems Marty has had the wound for a while and can't really feel it anymore.

Reinholdt sits up. "Yeah. If you are. Do I need one of those silly floating things again?" He looked so ridiculous in them last time!

I'm not trying to hurt you. Vidalia frowns. If you'd stop struggling....

It depends. How well can you swim? Melody stands up and begiins wiping the sand off her backside. Darn. How'd I get sand on my blanket?

Marty sighs and starts walking away to the infirmary. He'll follow Vidalia. He looks rather glum.

Toby watches this little drama wordlessly. He listens to what Vidalia says, but just nods and follows them into the Infirmary. Judgment will have to be reserved until he gets a look at the alleged injury.

Reinholdt looks at the towel.
"I dunno."

This may be just to try to avoid looking at Melody's backside.

"Well as for swimming, like I said, I haven't practiced hardly any since last you tried to teach me. So... about that good at it?" He peers at the water. Annoying water.
