{Nexus} GLoG LXXX: The Continuation of a New Era!

Jamie smiles as well. "She's neat. And I make sure that there's no onions in the garden! Well, aside from yours, but none in the to-eat garden," she adds.

I know. I already moved all the onions plants from the regular garden to mine. They are safe now.

Vidalia waits patiently for news on Marty. though, she still doesn't know his name.

Reinholdt sees Melody stop and starts to fly after her, but then she turns and flies away again, so he stops. Was she angry at him or maybe testing him or... Rein doesn't know.

He does sink back to the ground though.

Darn! If only Melody had watched a second longer. Maybe she would have noticed. As it is, she flies home to talk to someone who's always given her good sound advice.

She'll neglect to mention who the boy is. She knows Momma wouldn't approve.

Main Cabin

The smell of cooking has attracted the attention of one person who doesn't usually appear at mealtimes. She has dark green skin, blue eyes, light green hair, rather large ears and a pair of feathered gills in her neck. She's rather short, about half the height of the average human, and looks to be in her mid teens, and she's wearing a simple dress made of water weed; her feet are bare, with splayed toes connected by a web of skin. "Hello, is there anything I can do to help? I brought fish." Myrim the Marsh Goblin holds up a pike as long as she is tall with fingers as webbed as her toes. "I could go get more, if people want."

"Well, I'm not the expert, but I can make something with that."

Marley walks over to get the pike from Myrim.

"I should have killed that bastard when I had a chance."

Aww... look at the cute murderous kid!

"You misunderstand me. I mean the aging could cause that effect. I just took the doctor in here since you know yourself what happened there."

Caroline looks shocked and a little upset. You had a chance to kill him!? When was this? *pout* Why wasn't I invited?

Some time later, Kate rushes up to Rowan Cabin. Kids... and Eric is back? She's embarrassed that she missed it! She knocks on the door. She is nervous, that odd nervous that you have for no reason and therefore can't really logic yourself out of.

Eric will get the door for Kate at this point. She'll see he pretty well looks like a tiefling rather than a starspawn, so I wonder what she'll make of that. "Oh, hey Kate. You look different."

Indeed, what will she make of that?

"Hi. Is Julie in? Have we met?"

Okay. That's straightforward.

Infirmary Treatment

Well, the wound is very bad and should have been treated years ago. The wound will probably never heal. It will just continue causing Marty great pain and trouble with walking. It's definitely better to amputate. However I doubt Marty would ever let anyone do it. At least not of his own free will. Out of fear caused by his insanity and his ever-constant fear of blood. And pain.

Quinn sighs, shaking her head...

And goes to give Marty a stimulant, very mild, just enough to wake him up!

He'll probably come around looking at a very, very unhappy pregnant paladin.

[Hattish Thing]

Martly looks up weakly, Wh-where a-am I? Dr. Q-quinn? What h-h-happened to me?

"Your leg is gravely injured - as I'm sure you know. If you fail to have it properly...dealt with, though, then it will kill you," Quinn says matter-of-factly.

[Hattish Thing]

His leg? Oh...Dr. Quinn...that woman. Now he remembered. He looked down at the mangled and scarred thing that is his foot. The wound goes from his foot to his knee. A rather long area indeed. He mutters out worriedly. ...D-d-death?! But...I...you don't understand...I c-can't heal it...I don't want to...I will not be a cripple! Not another broken toy....m-m-more broke... Marty looks worried. His eyes are so wonderful. But now they're full of fear. He didn't like doctors. They would hurt him. I....I'll d-die?

[The Bushranger]

"Even if the leg doesn't give out at an inopportune moment, it could become infected and lead to gangrene. However," Quinn quickly adds, "It can be...repaired. Restored, to its original, whole state."

[Hattish Thing]

The wound was horrible. It would take a lot to heal it...considering magic didn't work on Marty.I...c-can't be fixed...

[The Bushranger]

Quinn doesn't know that yet.

"Actually, it can. In one of two ways," Quinn says, matter-of-factly. "Either way, it will need to be amputated. Then, one, I can use Regenerate to regrow the leg to its original state; or, two, a cybernetic prothesis indistinguishable from the real thing can be used."

Marty speaks up a little. Er. .m-magic...it doesn't w-work right around me...Regenerate...it won't work...s-s-sorry Dr. Quinn...

"Oh. That still leaves option two, though," Quinn points out with a soft smile.

Marty whimpers, I don't wanna be a cripple... He's rather pathetic really.

"You won't be," Quinn says, shaking her head. "In fact, you'll be less of one than you are now."

Marty lays there for a second before nodding ever so slightly. A silent yes to her plan.

"I'll have to arrange for a replacement limb to be ready. It should only take a day or two; you're more than welcome to stay until then," Quinn says with a bright smile.

[Reinholdt]

Caroline looks shocked and a little upset. You had a chance to kill him!? When was this? *pout* Why wasn't I invited?

[Andy's Room 2]

"A long while ago now. Found him here. HE stopped me though."

Vincent motions to Andy. Oh no Andy! You're losing your audience. D=

Reinholdt stands and heads to his room.

Andy looks unimpressed at Vincent. He knew that he is going to come up with that even if he thought he may start with that so the talking never happens.

"I don't deny that. After all I don't think that vigilantism is the right way to solve a problem. Also I didn't knew anything about him at that moment. From my point of view you where going to kill an innocient man in a wheelchair."

Andy seems to be relaxing, but in his mind he is working like hell. How high is there temper? Would Carolin try to kill him right now. is Vincent going to start bersserk mode? What kind of defense should I go for. Would they be able to follow me through a wall...

Sophie swallows and nods, feeling a little uncomfortable all of a sudden. I wish I'd had the opportunity, myself, she says, as nothing else comes to her mind right now.

Pansy gives a glance at the door. She's seen Kate around, but doesn't know her well, so she turns her attention back to Scylla. She's got that sort of itchy 'want to hold the baby' instinct warring with 'but that baby looks WRONG!', and settles for just reaching up to Scylla's hand and letting her grasp her finger. (Scylla does have hands, right? If not, strike that last sentence. Pansy's not quite ready for tentacle touching.)

Marty gently rubs and massages that war black cloak. It's odd...Marty was very attached to it. Who knows why...Marty get's out of the cot after piecing his boot and bandages. He tells Dr. Quinn, I.....I'll b-b-e back s-s-soon.... Marty walks out of the infirmary to the point where he can see Vidalia, He tells her quietly, There....I'm f-fine....I have t-t-to go back in about a d-day.....

"Yes that's right. A laptop was named laptop, because there main ability is beeing a PC you could place on TOP of your LAP."

Special sound, to point out things. Andy still goes on working up things they got. He is very sleepy as well.Only the mechanic part keeps him awake.

Lucy's eyes widen as she realises how tired Andy is, the black veins of her skin enhancing the effect greatly.

"By Bal, I am terribly sorry to be keeping you awake. Please do take time to rest before you become sick."

She says, smikling politely as she lowers her voice to avoid awakening the sleeping Deathclaw.

"Julie's out at the moment, but I think she should be back soon. And it's Eric, by the way, since you apparently didn't recognize me," He smiles, amused as he looks towards pansy, Sophie, and Scylla.

Despite being asleep, Scylla's hand (Which she does have, yes )) will close around her finger in the way baby hands do. For a fuller description: Scylla's upper body is mostly human. she has entirely black skin and a third eye on her forehead. He lower body has tentacles instead of legs, and she has tufts of black hair already coming out of her head. Despite he obvious weirdness, she's very cute.

"Oh! Look at you. It's good to know you're alright. Nexus madness, eh? Can... can I see the babies? How old are they now?" Kate tries to peek around Eric. There are babies in there! She wants to see them!

Main Cabin- Kitchen

Myrim will let Marley take her pike, though she's a bit confused by what he means when he says 'make something with it'. She'll also follow him to see what he does with it.

Main Cabin - Kitchen

Marley goes and puts the pike in a pot of cooking oil to start the cooking. After letting it soak, he gets it out and cuts it up, then puts the pieces into a frying pan.

(I don't really know a recipe for this, so I'm making something up.)

Sophie reaches down with the baby a little so Pansy can reach it more easily.
