Caroline shrugs, frowning. I don't know. I forgot her name. Maybe... Andy will know? she doesn't look happy to have to ask Andy.

Jamie giggles at Oddball as she pops the cake in the oven.
Then shakes her head at the drone!
"We'll get you a file update as soon as we can! Things are, um, different than when they were when you were last fully operational."

She then looks to Reelshka. "I don't assume I'm better suited to helping peoples' problems then they are!" she protests. "Just that I can help them - and if I don't help them, and something happens that could have been avoided if I did, how could I live with myself?"



Infirmary

A Solar and an Abyssal walk into a medlab...

"Couldn't you just line them up so we can pick out which one it is?" Vincent suggests.

Marley raises an eyebrow.

"Ask them to line up? It would be quicker just to go around and try and find who you want."

Marley thinks for a moment.

"Why don't you go inside the main cabin, I'm pretty sure that someone in there might know who are looking for."

Okay. Caroline tries to look past Marley. Which one's the main cabin?

{Outside}

"Not if you use fade screen technique." Vincent explains to Marley. Then it's a whole lot faster.

But he'll go along with this other plan for now.

"The big one behind me."

Marley turns and points at the main cabin.

"What's a fade screen technique?"

You really don't want to know. And Caroline tries to drag Vincent along to the Main Cabin.

"Bye!" Vincent says as he's dragged off to the Main Cabin, wondering why he can't explain time skip to the man.

Yeah. Brinika sits down on the ground and her ears twitch a little and move around as she thinks. Miss Renetta, you know Waterstrider and Pathfinder, yes?

Renetta nods. She certainly does know them. "I do. Why do you ask?" She asks curiously.

If they want to talk to Andy they could find him here as well. Making a break from the translation and doing some of the paper work.

The Old GloG Drone hovers around Jamie, studying the oddish.

When they get to the Main Cabin, Caroline knocks on the front door.

You don't think so yet. But power tends to go to one's head, especially at such a young, impressionable age. I agree that you should use whatever you've got when it becomes necessary, but how do you know when it is? Power means little without good enough judgement to use it.

Renetta nods. She certainly does know them. "I do. Why do you ask?" She asks curiously.

Because Aunt Reelshka went to a party with Pathfinder. In a really nice new dress. What does that mean? The little girl is confused. Renetta also has an occasion to find out that goblins gossip, and little girl goblins even more so.

Front door knocking! It happens.
It'd probably be easier just to walk right on in. It's not like the door was locked before. Once a door is unlocked, it will never be locked again.

But Caroline is too polite to not at least knock first. But since no one has answered, Caroline will slowly open the door. Hello? Is there someone in here?

"Oh." Renetta doesn't exactly know a whole lot about dating, but she certainly knows more than Brinika. She kind of wishes she didn't. =x

"Well sometimes when a man and a woman like each other they'll go out together to do something fun and get to know each other better." At least, that's what sounds like is happening. Renetta never even knew about Pathfinder's apparent interest in Reelshka.

Brinika's eyes go wide. Of course, they're pretty big in the first place. So Aunt Reelshka went on a... on a date? Woooow, she says with amazement.

Andy wonders why people are knocking on the Door of the Main Room. To be true he never heared that such things happen. He goes over to open the door.

"Yes?"

Main Cabin- Kitchen

Oddball is a perfectly normal Oddish. He's purplish blue, with five blades of grass growing from his head. He has a mouth and eyes, but no other facial features, and he gets around on a pair of stubby pseudopod-like root-feet. He's still excited and doing a silly dance and releasing a Sweet Scent, as he thinks (mistakenly) that Jamie is baking a poffin for him.

Renetta giggles at Brinika's reaction. "Yeah, I guess they did." Renetta's a bit curious about the result of said date herself.

Brinika is still in awe. That's so weeeeird... Aunt Reelshka had a boyfriend once but she left him. But I was really little at that time. I wonder how it went. She didn't tell me anything. Also, techically speaking, it's not over yet.

Oh dear, Brinika is quite the little gossip. "You'll have to ask her about it then. I never knew anything about it either."

Mhmm. Brinika nods. And Pathfinder is really nice so I'm glad Aunt Reelshka likes him too, she declares.

Renetta nods her agreement. "He really is." Almost as nice as Waterstrider! Of course, she has a bit of a bias. "We'll have to find out if they're going on another date." Renetta says mischievously, and a bit jokingly.

"Don't worry, I won't get hooked. I know what a float looks for, and I'll avoid the area around them." Assuming they're float-fishing, anyway, rather than any other method.

They are for the moment, yup.
Unlike his ancestor Orion, Taurus has no interest in fly fishing.

Annabelle brings a claw to her lips, considering this.

"WELL, OKAY, BUT BE CAREFUL!"

She doesn't really think Myrim will snag herself if she knows what to look out for, but it still might happen and she doesn't want to be responsible to accidentally pulling someone through the water. She's already nearly snagged herself today, and her poor skirt took another hit earlier when she was learning to cast.

"If you think it'll help, I'll stay away from this part of the lake. My burrow's on the other side, anyway." Rather than sleeping in a hut, Myrim chose to dig a burrow under the waterline of the lake. There's not much furniture, but she has access to as much food as she can eat and there's people on her doorstep to talk to should she desire company.

Doom! Impending, inexorable doom approaches! They just stepped through the doorway! Run, Bethany! Run!

Two exalts! Two! Holy overkill, Batman! Dial the army on that phone before you hang it up!

Bethany waves silently and wearily at Shrike and Zel as they enter. She then whips her head around to face Krystal.

"It looks like you have other patients to attend to. I'll just leave you to it, then."

"And thanks again for everything."

Bethany swings her legs up and over whatever piece of furniture she was seated upon and makes for the door, attempting to give Demon Queen a quick hug as she goes about her merry way.

She's not very talkative. She prefers to let her actions speak for her.

Oddball will need to find some way to let Jamie know what a poffin is.
As it is, the Magical Girl smiles and giggles at the excited Oddish!

"It's necessary when just using, well, mundane means doesn't get the job done," Jamie says matter-of-factly, with an expression that might well remind Reelshka of Tobias.

Reelshka's eyes narrow. See? This is exactly the sort of attitude overusing magic leads to. Besides, how do you figure when mundane means are not enough?
