Aubrey shrugs, "It was never entirely clear to me either. I think we're supposed to work that out amongst ourselves," Aubrey, unfortunately, doesn't always listen when people are talking.

Doesn't sound half bad actually, Wenomir comments. Mind you, I've never actually seen a mime performance before. We haven't invented them yet back home. I wonder if it's a blessing or a curse.

"Sounds about right to me. It's probably just any time." Nadia says. Oh well, maybe this won't be so bad. Aubrey seems nice enough after all.

"I bet you would, but I wouldn't want to give anyone the wrong idea." Making out with another man can give people all kinds of wrong ideas.

"Mm... I guess we can ask afterwards." Irena suggests as she looks up at the stage, at least Nadia seemed to have made a miraculous recovery from her drunkenness earlier. "Anyway, once this is over you can go with us to riverside okay?"

"What? Just tell them if you're so afraid of getting the attention of homosexuals. I would find such attention charming really. You guys are more afraid of these things then you need to be really. Would it be so dangerous to kiss one guy? I kissed plenty of women and I'm still straight." Dena tells Kirk with a shrug.

Aubrey nods, grinning. He goes to sit down nearby. A good distance away so that Nadia doesn't feel uncomfortable, but close enough to talk.

Mime/Butler Auction

"And the auction's over! Moff, come on up for your prizes." Tualth says with a sad smile before looking back at the pair. "Sorry about that. I'd have loved to bid on you two myself, but you know how it is." She tells them before attempting to give each of them a peck on the cheek.

After that, she heads back to the podium and pulling a name out of the hat. "Dionysius! Come on up."

I wouldn't call Nadia sober right now. She just hasn't said or done anything that makes it too clear she's drunk for a little bit.

"It's gonna be kind of late after this, don't you think. Maybe she should come over tomorrow or something?"

Kirk shakes his head. Silly Dena. "I'm not afraid of anything. It's just that if I'm going to do something I'd really rather not, there's has to be a certain amount of incentive." Apparently seeing Dena make out with a woman is not incentive enough.

In the interest of having more people to bid on the guys, Kevin Sciano finds himself walking in to take a seat at the auction area with 2,000 gold (or a more portable equivalent in precious gems) in his pocket. He's wearing a custom tailored brown suit that looks like this.

"Excuse my milady, I believe that's my que." Dio rises from his table and pleasant conversation to surmount the stage, straightening his suitjacket and smoothing back his hair as he walks. His grace and poise is almost supernatural as he glides across the room and into the cage, allowing himself to be locked in.

"Ladies, gentlemen, and beings of indeterminate gender, good evening to you all. I assure you that, should you place your money in the hands of these fine people in exchange for placing me in your fine hands, there is no act too depraved, insane, or scandalous for me to perform. For the next two days, I shall be yours to control." And with that, and a nod to Tualth, the bidding can officially begin.

Moff fist pumps, and runs up to the stage to give Tualth his money, and then give Butler a big ole hug.

Mime opens his arms wide to accept the hug that Moff is clearly coming to give to him.

He deflates just a little when Moff hugs Butler.

Hugs! Butler gives Moff a hug back!
And though no motion is necessary, Butler motions for Mime join in on the group hug!

Hooray! Mime will launch himself at Moff and Butler, trapping Moff between them while hugging them as fiercely as he can.

This might make it difficult to get off the stage.

Ok, that's probably enough. Butler lets go to get off the stage so others can get on. It's not fair to hog it.

Mime will try and pick up Moff and cart him off stage while hugging him.

He might be able to lift him. Lifting Butler as well would be a steep ask, but just Moff? Who knows.

"600 gp!" Moff bids. He has visions in his mind of an amazing party, with Dio, Kirk, Kal, Butler, and Mime. Maybe he could even get Taul to attend!

Ilpholin scowls at her archnemesis, integrity.

And frowns at this random person Integrity.

"Eight hundred!" chirps a preternaturally cheery voice, the tiny redhead who happens to be the owner of said voice waving her hand in the air with a grin.

"Yeah, suuure you aren't." Dena replies before raising her hand casually, "900."

"One thousand!" Integrity calls.

"1100 gold pieces." Says Lanthil, looking slightly amused at all the attention Dio seems to be getting. At this rate, it seems she will not be spending the rest of the night with her new companion after all.

KR shrugs.

"I've never seen one either."

Moff drops out of the bidding. Got to save his monies for Kal. And maybe Kirk. He pets Butler's ears while he waits.

Man, that must be a scene. Mime holding up Moff so he can better pet Butler's ears.

Ilpholin stops bidding herself. She has another person in mind.

Wenomir shrugs as well, then smiles. Well, I guess since you haven't managed to win the best kisser in the Nexus, you'll have to settle for me.

Dena decides to to go any higher either, instead she leans on to Kirk, "Out of curiosity, what would it take for you to make out with another man?"
