I am planning on having a large wolf animal companion refluffed as jackal. You know the drill: Anubis, Egypt, Jackal, that general area of fluff. I know jackals are - if I were to go by natural behaviour - foxlike creatures that hunt various small prey and they would never grow as big as dire wolves do, but being large is integral to me.

Are animals forbidden here or did just no one come up with anything? I know it's hard, I looked for pics almost an hour on deviantart and google. Help would be appreciated.

I think the main problem with the thread is that it's on its fifth iteration, and chances are that most people have already exhausted their supply of pictures. Without a steady stream of people posting pictures, the thread turns into either requests for specific pictures, or discussion about something.

The internet is a vast, vast place, but there's only so much good art to post. While in theory there would be new pictures to find to last very long, it's just not going to happen practically.


That said, I do have a request: For an antagonist for my next game, I'd be looking for some sort of dark and brooding king. A civilized (ie not barbarian) king/warlord who took the crown by a mix of force and coercion, but sits upon the throne uneasily. Not too young but not too old either, and in good physical shape. Doesn't have to feature a throne, but one would be appreciated.

Was getting random pictures off deviant art of roleplaying characters looking for examples of peoples and races for my campaign. Lots of good ones. However, a fair percentage of Humans hail from the desert area within 1 to 3 generations ago, as well as my halflings being based off Gypsy and Indian traders.

And a serious lack of tanned/olive/brown skinned roleplaying character portraits out there. found a few. And even one picture of a brown skinned heavily stereotyped gypsy will even work. I'm writing this before doing a mass google search on a few key words i think might help.

Might be too mechanical, but the Convergence of Cyriss' Clockwork Angels from Warmachine might match. Good luck finding full-size artwork, though, this was the best I could manage. Closest option that came to mind; I know the colours don't quite fit.

Still, TES elemental resistance is not measured in constant subtraction but 50% resistance :)

Perhaps I'm mistaken, but I'm pretty sure Nords have 100% resistance to frost. It's lightning that they only resist 50%. I'm going off of Morrowind here, so forgive me if they've changed it in Skyrim.
