Don Panchurro, the greatest boxer
Ok I know my threads have been off the wall but I honestly have zero player skills at dnd. Now what I want to create is a melee character that is focus on unarmed combat, more specifically boxing punches but I am open to kicks as well. The name is stupid I know but this is supposed to be a fun character, also he is 5 feet tall and must be a human. My inspiration was Little Mac. So any suggestions for where to begin?

Whirlipounce Barbarian 2/Pugilist (Fighter) 2 into Fist of the Forest, maybe Frostrager after if you can work with your DM about the unarmed damage progression.

What sources are available? Only 3.5? PF? Tome of Battle?

Tome of Battle. Using a Swordsage or a Warblade with Setting Sun and Tiger Claw may help a bit.
What Greenish said is cool as well. Up to you.But the strong man is stronger when alone.
