"Oh hai Icy" Lone Star murmured, waving. "Did the clinic move or something? I wanna see if I can make that pink nurse burst into tears from coming in so of'en"

"Lone Star, the clinic is three blocks from the way you came from..." Icy narrowed her eyes. "Why do you need to go to the clinic anyway? Did you get hurt again?" She trotted over, ready to steady him in case he fell down or something.

Gee, that just makes it all better...



Sandy sniffed back the tears. "Thank the fates...at least...at least somethin' good came out of this..."





Sandy shook his head, trying not to think about all the ways they could've been killed on his account. Or what Snow and Copper could've been thinking, doing all this. Or who else his vile, cursed luck would destroy next. He sat there overwhelmed, held by his Captain and surrounded by his friends, his real friends. For how long, he wasn't quite sure. Soon enough, he wrapped his own little forelegs around Gear and hugged her tight. "Th-thank you. Thank you everypony, I...I don't rightly know...what all happened yet...or why...b-but thank you." He let go, and dried his eyes a final time. "And...a little breakfast don't sound too bad..."

Sliverpine would busy himself in the kitchen. By the time the crew moseyed over to the galley, there would be a few stacks of pancake ready for them, with all the necessary condiments already laid out.

"You know what I meant when I said 'normal', and this crapsack world isn't what I mean."

"Anyways, think of it as having lunch with your boss, I like to have good relations with my employees ya know." Perhaps sometimes much too much good relations with his employees. Not that he was going to hit on Mystic.

Spending two days in bed, combined with intense magical shock, had taken its toll. His legs shook as he got to his hooves. "Just...just a lil' cramp...I'm good..."

She would notice that his cloak was extremely matted and dirty - he'd been stumbling for a long, long walk. Both of his wings were poking into the fabric but his left was strangely jagged.

Suddenly he shook his head and whinnied. "No, stay focused... Don't! stop me now!" He'd switched back to singing Queen Princess.

"Done," He said simply as he walked to the door of his office, though before he did that he walked back to his desk and put his documents away.

Blades either didn't notice or didn't mind the nature of the measurements. Probably the former. Of course, trying anything with her could possibly result in a rapid decapitation or something to the same effect, but that was the broad definition of "trying anything".

As they walked down the hall, Mystic would see a variety of portraits of himself, the majority of them of him looking silly, as if though he was posing for a Chippenhayle calender, hammy and cheesy. There was one normal painting, of him and a younger colt bearing his color palette, must of been a portrait from over fifteen years ago.

Anyhoof, as they walked towards the dining room, which was downstairs left of the grand foyer, fillyish laughter could be heard and the noise of gossip happening. Yes, gossip has a distinctive noise now. His fillyfriends were busy doing whatever it is they do in the lounge with a stocked bar. Past that was the dining room and then the kitchen and other rooms with different purposes.

"Alright, you can tell the girls they can come in, before they drink my stock of alcohol in the bar," He smirked and sipped his wine.

"Right away sir," And Feather Duster was off.

Lone Star's bones were poking out of the wing, which had puffed up and turned sickly purple. Something oozey and yellow dripped out of cuts and bruises all over the wing, and it had swelled up badly.

"... It's uh... less painful than it looks."

The Nurse looked like she was about to hurl as she hit the intercom for a 'Doctor Schadenfreude'.

"Cuz I'm havin' a good time/Havin' a good time!!" He continued to sing as she dragged him to the clinic.

I was tortured, ok?! I went to some base a friend of mine heard was doing some research into split personalities, I was caught and tortured for information... I guess my wing got infected on the trip back or something...

Oh come on, seriously?!

Well it's not like I planned this, b****! It's not like I woke up and said, 'hey, you know what I haven't done in a while? Get mutilated, that sounds like a great way to spend a day!'
