Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
"Ask Nerull if he'd settle for two evil deities fighting Pelor." I reach into my material component for some gnome hair than cast Greater Scrying to look for a cleric of Garl Glittergold.
This is horrifying beyond anything Lovecraft ever wrote or Giger ever drew.

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
No, I promised that I would undergo the task. Besides, I've been at ends with Pelor and his clerics for years. They used to attack my village, you know, when I was a boy, claiming to be purging the world of those who would abandon the light of the sun. My mother was killed in such a "crusade." They claim to be servants of the good, but truthfully, they are no better than you or I. I would be thrilled to destroy their god.
I'm going to set to work on crafting some spells for the task.Originally Posted by inuyashaOriginally Posted by Jormengand

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
For one, I'm sure she's dead by this point anyway. And the mirrors seem a bit too potentially disastrous for my taste. If you wish, you may remain here. Pelor wouldn't dare to bind or destroy my soul, and so you could simply resurrect me if things go wrong. If not, I'm sure Raalzak or Celeste could. Oh, and that reminds me....
Hallok summons Raalzak and Celeste to him, and then casts his Mindrape spell on each of them, ordering them not to resist it (as he still controlla them magically).
He changes Raalzak's memory so that he believes that Hallok raised him from an egg- though most of his life was the same, his early years were with Hallok, and his foster father had appeared whenever he had been in need. Hallok had offered him a permanent job now, and the great dragon had accepted. He loves Hallok dearly and would never think of betraying him.
He changes Celeste's memory so that she is Hallok's daughter, a half-drow who takes on most of her mother's appearance. Though still similar to as she was before Hallok dominated her will (and he removes everything regarding her servitude), she would never think to harm her father, and obeys his every command. She is Lawful Neutral now, and worships Hextor.
He then removes his domination spells from them.Last edited by Fates; 2012-04-16 at 07:12 PM.

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
How long will killing Pelor last? Because I mean ending all of good might be bad for the world. I'm all for eliminating a threat but not to the extent of ending all of good. Plus without the sun I can't tan anymore." I say to Hallok since Megan can't hear us. "Also if you want a ressurection provide me with three cubic feet of your flesh."

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
Well, someone has to fill the void of a god, especially a powerful god such as Pelor. If one were to, say, defeat him, they could actually take over the position. Which, if Megan defeats Nerul and announces it, we wouldn't have to worry about killing Pelor. We would then have to deal with the newest god of death.

"Yes that's a bit of a liability. I'm planning on consulting Garl with assisting us, he has a way of getting around things which I believe we need. Let's all split up with our plans we'll meet back and blow this ancient chick out of the water." I walk into the other room and yell "Megan's so old she protested the first act of prostitution." than walk back in with a snicker. "Alright we can drop the zone of silence everyone split up and meet back at our campsite in two hours. If you need more time message. "

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
As I haven't heard back from Nerull, I wouldn't be surprised if Megan destroys him. If that's so, it's practically necessary. Besides, it's hardly as if Pelor is the only "good" deity out there.
I must leave now, to prepare. I will be in a state of deep personal inflection and concentration, so do not contact me unless it's completely necessary. Hallok then teleports to his mother's grave. He begins to channel his thoughts and emotions into power, working tirelessly within himself to wreak his revenge.Originally Posted by inuyashaOriginally Posted by Jormengand

As I said Magic, if we were to kill Pelor, we would simply take his place. The alignment domains would change to match whoever and the other domains would stay the same.
(Eric, I need you to look at something in the OoC thread.)

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
First off I cast miracle praying that my god heals Jules to full life as he's at Enrull's door. I tap Megan on the shoulder. "Aurora shall need a few hours of rest but when she awakens she'll be feeling refreshed and happy. We'll be taking our leave now." I kiss Megan upon her hand "It has truly been a pleasure meeting someone as fine as thee."
Than I grab a pie from my stuff than teleport to that cleric slamming it in his face "Hail fellow oddball. I come seeking your aid in contacting Garl for a magnificent prank."This is horrifying beyond anything Lovecraft ever wrote or Giger ever drew.

Re: [d&d 3.5] Anyone want to crash a party? (IC)
In the morning, Hallok finishes his trancelike state, the power flowing from his as he finalizes his channeling, forming spells that are ready at his disposal. The greatest spells he had ever created- however, he would need assistance in casting them. It is nice, he thinks, to be in the underdark once more. It had been at least 50 years since he had last been here, and he had forgotten how much he loved it. To wake up without the sun glaring in his eyes, to feel the cool, moist air of the subterranean world fill his lungs, made him feel at home. For that one moment, he was once again with his family, happily living a life away from the strangeness and the harshness of the land of the sun. As the moment passed, the Drow's mood grew darker, and suddenly, he was filled with purpose. He takes one last look at his mother's gravestone, and a single tear flows down his cheek. Soon, he will have his revenge. He fades away in a flash of emerald light.
Hallok teleports back to the Mage's college in the morning. Please look to the OoC thread in a few minutes to see the spells I created.Originally Posted by inuyashaOriginally Posted by Jormengand

A dwarf is there. "M'lord has sent me here with a hankerchief saying he'd never wish to see his friends shed a tear."

Hallok looks annoyed, but, figuring that it wasn't the dwarf's fault, takes the handkerchief.

Hallok attempts to contact Nerull once more, using another Contact Other Plane.
He also makes a knowledge (history) check, trying to remember the most powerful Drow spellcasters and warriors he can think of, and where they would have been buried.
Also, is there some way I could speed up the creation of a magic item?Originally Posted by inuyashaOriginally Posted by Jormengand

You taste grease... it's not very tasty.
The spells are ok.
Nerull responds... What did you send for me to kill? That woman... she's a lot more powerful ethnic you let on. it sounds like he is both out of breath and is whispering.
That sounds like it would be quite the feat... Let's try it! says Garlic.Spoiler

Well, did you destroy her? I had realized that she was powerful, which is exactly why I entrusted the bloody god of death to do the deed- did you really think I would agree to kill a god so that you could destroy just anyone? I am keeping my end of the deal, and I expect you to do the same.
