Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Bugsy looks up at Melk, his beady black eyes curious. So, what's the story behind this Atlus, anyway? I've dealt with elementals before- most of 'em don't know their ass from their toes, in a manner of speaking. It's also the strongest one I've seen. How the blazes did you lot get him on your side?

"Joint effort with Vitis and I. Atlus used to be an Earth Elemental, but now he's more of an Omni-Elemental... That's a word, Right?
Anyways, I guess we'll head towards The Stone's location for now. I do hope this job isn't too difficult..."Avatar by Savannah

I for one hope its difficult in the way of having lots of bashing to do. But lead the way, the faster we get there, the faster we get going.

Waiting back at the warehouse is the Stone and his Companion Nazelia. The stone seems to be in the form of a Bald Headed human, while smoking a Cigar and Nazelia in the form of an Elf maiden. As always, you can quickly tell it is him by his mannerisms.

I killed my first opponent. Then I ran into this little rule breaker and he beat me, albeit unfairly. Now hes with us to work off his debt in that regard.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
"Hmm, isn't the green Gebroni alittle short to be your man slave?" He says with a Grin. Puffing his cigar, he looks over the little guy some.
"See that elf over there? If you betray us, The stone will have her eat you whole. I doubt she would enjoy the taste, so don't make the Stone have to do that."
"Sorry the stone missed your match. You were being followed by that Gebroni woman who ordered us into the warehouse. I tried following her, but she teleported away. Keep an eye out for the wench."
"Now then, on to business. At dawn we are to meet a few humans and topple this current... acting monarch... Yes, the Stone thinks that is the right term. The pay will be supposedly good, and the Stone figured we all could use some action. Does that sound agreeable to everyone?"My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Bugsy grins. Killing a tyrant? Sounds like a blast.
He holds out his hand and shake's The Stone's. Please, what's a big bloke like you got ta fear from me? Relax, I may be a lying, cheating little bastard, but I don't go back on promises, at least not those made to other giants. Drow are another thing, but you've gotta do that to survive around them, you know? Lying, cheating little bastards. Can't stand them.
Bugsy continues to grumble on about his distaste for Drow.
Well, anyway, seems if I'm going to be working with you lot, we should get to know each other better.
The repulsive little troll does an overly dramatic bow.
My given name is Bürgios Grelk, and the name I took among the Drow was Keq'arin Dreiddic; but most folks call me Bugsy- a gnome friend of mine picked that name for me. If you're wondering about this whole "child" business, don't worry, it's a curse. Anyway, I was born in a troll village, spent some time on the run, learned to fight, joined a monastery, joined some crusaders, met a gnome, learned my special skills from the gnome, killed the gnome, honed my skills, disguised as a drow, became an assassin, got kicked out, went adventuring, got cursed, took up espionage, took up brawling, cheated my way into becoming a champion, got my cover blown by a kobold, for gods' sake, got beat up by his pet elemental, tricked him into letting me join him and his companions, teleported them away, and struck up a conversation to pass the time until they fell asleep, at which point I'd stab them all in their enormous, self-righteous noggins. Thanks to TinyMushroom for the Avatar

Okay, go ahead, Stab me in the head. See what good it'll do you. Best we dispel your ideas of killing us now. Responds Vitis, deactivating his defensive spells and lowing his head for Bugsy to stab.
SpoilerGo ahead, Count Vitis Flat-footed and helpless. Do some massive damage coup de grace.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
The stone listens to Bugsy rattle on about his past, and doesn't interrupt. When done, his cigar is nearly gone. He taps it with his fingers and some ashes fall at Bugsy's feet.
"Listen... Don't take this personally, but the Stone didn't ask you for your life story. The Stone doesn't care. If you're useful and here to help kill things, fine. Good. But we don't ask questions around here. Just don't betray us Gebroni, and we won't have a problem. It's not much to ask."
"And don't attack the Giant Miniature Kobold, he's just showing off. " He says before walking off. "Sunrise Giants. Don't forget."My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Bugsy looks a bit winded. Sorry, I get a bit carried away.
Apparently, you haven't got much of a sense a humor, mister kobold. You may be smart, but you shoulda grasped that that was a joke.
And really, do you think I'm gonna stab a powerful mage who puts down his head and tells me to stab him? I may be...all those things I said, but I sure as hell ain't stupid. I've dealt with smug blokes like you before, always wanting to show off this trick or that. I've got magic too, you know, and I doubt I'd be easy to impress.
Bugsy shakes his head, before grasping Melk's finger with his little hand as if he was his own father, and looks up at him. So then, where are we to go if we're going to kill this fellow? I can take us there, if need be.Thanks to TinyMushroom for the Avatar

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
After receiving the rather sound crack on the head, Vitis seems battered, but without any real loss of ability. However, it is short lived, as whatever damage was dealt heals away after about a minute and a half.
"You could have hit harder than that. You didn't need to hold back."

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
"The Stone doesn't understand your question Melk. If you need to rest, here should be fine. When dawn comes, we're all flying to the Mage Tower to meet my associate Hanz. If you're lucky, he'll have Jon's old home slice there. She has no hold over the Stone, his mind is too strong. However perhaps some of you non-married fellows will enjoy her more."
"And Vitris, if you really wish to die to show off, the Stone will oblige. Just promise you will come back."
Once the kobold does this, he draws his Vorpal Bastard sword, and cuts the kobold's head clean off. "There can only be one... Or something."My OWoDhouse rule reference page.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Actually, decapitation is a weak point until I improve the system. And the next upgrade in that regard is expensive. Really Expensive. That said, that upgrade should probably be our next goal. Responds Vitis, who seems to be prioritizing which subsystems and upgrades are most important to get. It's easily to tell by how he is muttering and him shifting one hand above or below the other based on priority.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Bugsy yawns, and then slips behind a tree (if there are none available, he slips behind Melk, as he is a fellow troll, and friendly) and changes into a set of very comfortable-looking pajamas, a miniature bedrobe, and a sleeping cap. He looks about as adorable as a troll possibly can.
He then casts minor creation, then fabricate, to create a tiny bed and a blanket for himself. He hops onto it, lies down, and immediately falls asleep- he would be even more adorable, but it is marred by the fact that his snoring is loud and raspy, like that of an old man who smoked his whole life.

Re: Giants a 3.5 experience (IC)
Suddenly, something snaps within Bugsy. Raving like a lunatic, he leaps from his bed and, still clad all in PJs, runs as fast as he can away from the giants.
He then leaps into the air, and disappears. (running. Walk speed is 70 feet, so I move at 280 feet per round. Running for 11 rounds (my con mod) and then casting Plane Shift to shift to St. Cuthbert's palace in Celestia. Thanks to TinyMushroom for the Avatar

"See, this is why the Stone doesn't trust anyone under 7 feet tall. They're wrapped together alittle too tight... And yes, the Stone does see the irony of saying that while sitting in a form only 5 feet 4. The Stone's a grower, not a show-er!"
