Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
RL means I won't be able to post for the next 36 hours, sorry. Just keep RPing it so that hopefully we will have a cohesive group soon. See how far you can all get in that time, and I'll catch up when I return.
Apologies again.

@QB
Well I am an exception to the rule of the two rivers, seeing as how I left and all. :P And for me, a busy trade day is probably the smallest fraction of a trade day in Illian, but ignorance is bliss. :)

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
So guys, are people still interested in playing? We have the ogier and the last member of the party arriving at the Blue Lily, and some of the characters are getting to know each other.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Luran is continuing his interaction with the Ogier (who's player is having internet issues, I think). Feel free to fast forward us to the Blue Lily for dinner - that can introduce more opportunities for RP ...

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
I've been waiting for our third channeller to post ;) guess I'll work on something in reply to Neo's char :) Not quite sure where to take things from here, though... it wouldn't make sense for my character to recruit everyone - she's a lowly Accepted and would likely get punished for showing up with even one extra person in tow!

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Well to be clear, there is also a huge Ogier finding a seat, so plenty of opportunities to engage with other folks if you're lokking!

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Well i had a few reasons that you would take the others, but I'm going to make them clearer in IC posts- Firstly there's the whole other channelers 'wow be my friends'/I must take you to the tower! Then the fact that Almoth plain has become quite dangerous will require guards, and then I was going to have a Tel'aran'rhiod hook, but since the second of two dreamers is gone, and the other dreamer is already heading to Falme then that's kind of unnecessary.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
How far away from us is the second flyer at this point? If it's within Medium range (130ft for me) I'll try and web it as well.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Just clarifying that I'm still 100% with this. College hasn't left me with much free time the last week or so, so I haven't taken the initiative to insert myself into the proceedings very much, but I won't hesitate to when appropriate.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
I guess I'll add that if the ladies start magically floating bodies down, my ridiculous attempts at climbing will cease immediately.
Okay, as a side note, I'm not a WoT zealot or expert ... hell, I never even finished the series (GASP! Blasphemy!). But from what I remember, most folks held the one power in awe and assumed that anyone who used it was Tower affliated, right? I just want to make sure Luran is reacting appropriately given the setting.Life is ... life. As always bot/cut as necessary.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
On the main contenant, you're quite correct.
Man using the power is stuff of vicious nightmares who will probably steal your soul and eat it for breakfast
Woman using the power is an Aes Sedai who twists words, makes nations dance like puppets and is completely untrustable (and something most people only know about in legends, unless you're from Tar Valon or a nearby area). "Aes Sedai can't lie, but the truth they tell may not be the truth you hear"
Some people are aware that not every channeler is an Aes Sedai, and I guess if most people thought about it they'd come to the conclusion that not all channelers can be part of the one organisation, there must be renegades etc, but it's something most people avoid thinking about, like the Dark One.Super cute Catgirl Avatar by Kymme

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
Tylerb: ok, thanks for telling me
Quick question- is there anyone still playing who is inside the inn? Ardent/Berin/Bili/Vayl? Something was going to happen inside, but if you've all left then I'll have it outside.
And Neo_Leviathan's right with the summing up of the channellers, men=crazy, women=Aes Sedai=dangerous and not to be trusted. But yeah if people started channelling you would expect they were Aes Sedai.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
I don't know, I think Ardent would go have a look at what's happening outside, but generally will stay out of the way for everyone else.

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
At the moment Leilanna is pretty well stuck holding the critter. I believe Anyanna has plans to use Healing on the wounded guy, and we'll need to figure out a way to restrain the critter 'normally', since Leilanna can't tie off weaves (yet)

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
I'm not sure whether people are just busy or have lost interest in this, but having so many characters that don't respond to the others has unfortunately slowed this down to the point of death.
Therefore I'm going to declare Anyanna, Bili, Shyne and Vayl NPCs.
This leaves: Ossipye, Leilanna, Luran, Berin, Ardent and Lukas.
If any of you are interested please post shortly and the game will recommence (with as few people who want to, I'd be happy running a solo or duo if that was all the people who were necessary).
Furthermore, as an ongoing rule starting now, I'd like to state that even if your character has nothing to say specifically, that you just post anyway (either OOC or IC) stating as such (it could be an opportunity for character examination or introspection if you want) just so others know that things are still moving, and I know I'm not waiting on anyone.
So yeah, I've enjoyed this so far and want to run it, so please come back...

Re: The Wheel Weaves... [OOC]
I'm still here, watching my subscriptions for update several times per day. Ardent doesn't really have much to contribute before the situation develops further.
