I like how this episode relates to todays media nosing in on peoples private lives and how what they are doing is wrong.

that and this episode is very well put together, everything presented is used.

and I liked the Apple sibling switch with Applejack not speaking, but Big Mac talking normally, t'was funny.

So much fun continuity. Cakes! Trixie! Big Mac/Smarty Pants! Loved that pic of Celestia, too. Mayor actually having a pink mane was unexpected. Rarity was at her most hamtastic in this episode ("I'LL DESTROY HER!", "ET TU, GABBY GUMS?!"), and her sister is super-adorable as always. Big Mac sure had a lot to say as well. And Featherweight was definitely the evil mastermind behind it all, and possibly fey. I didn't expect this episode to be that good, so I was pleasantly surprised. Was a fun episode. Best CMC episode (not counting Chronicles, where they were just the framing device).

Been saving the best stuff for the end, haven't they? That was a great episode. It did what I like best, it used huge amounts of the entire diverse cast. It had lots of really funny moments. It felt really long this time, they didn't waste a second.

It was a refreshing take on the whole school paper story (which is a fairly standard stock story), with the CMC realising quite early that they were in the wrong, which was a nice touch.

So many little moments!

The major has pink hair? Why in Equestria would she die it, then?! I mean it's not like pink had gravitas or anything, in Equestria, because Princess Celestia doesn't have pink hair or anything - oh wait. There must be a story in that somewhere...

Celestia gorges on cakes (or something)... Somehow I totally see that fitting (though I'd love to know what the circumstances were that let 3-4 foals get a picture of her! Is she in Canterlot? Does she make secret excursions top Sugar Cube Corner to make Pinkie-like cake-devouring-sprees?)

Speaking of Pinkie, it's okay, duck; the first step is to admit you have a problem...

Rarity was hilarious, I was counting down the moments until she blew! Also nice that not only does she take Spike to the spar, but that he has less of a problem with it than Rainbow! Clearly a dragon in touch with his feminine side (which I thought was actually, in all seriousness, a nicely progressive touch.)
