Which I just spent time exploring

-Click on the Present to download the Party Pack which has the images in there under wallpapers along with some print outs for cut-out pony party hats, a memory game and a game of pin the bouquet on the pony... guess which one.

-Clicking on AJ takes you to some poll about what cake is being made, you already knew AJ was making it right. Yeah that seems to be it, even in mini games AJ get cobb and not the corn.

-Clicking on Twilight bring up an updated card creator, maybe somepony will pull a wedding Derpy out of it who knows.

-Clicking on Dashie will bring up Rainbow Dash's Rainboom Game. Yep its a flash game, dodge objects to pick up speed and until you make a Sonic Rainboom. Simple but nicely done (flying Tank!) and your "prize" is another pdf for an iron on tshirt design of dash. If anypony has the right paper for that sort of thing (I don't even have a printer these days)

-Finally clicking on Rarity brings up a rather slick Pony Creator. Also very nicely done if a touch simple, its probably a little slicker then pony creator but without as many options. Still some very nice stuff there. Tragically it only wants to Print so if you want to save your creation I guess you have to Print Screen it and clip out you pony with shop. Or extract it with a background from Microsoft's Document Writer program (.xps files) if that's possible.

-Oh almost forgot Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie have a "Coming Soon" on them

I'm not sure I'd call this place particularly safe, really, between the threats to the cosmos, marauding armies of the dead, kidnapping, compulsive lies and bondage.

Though there is at least a noticeable and entirely welcome lack of selfconciously gritty badfics and so on, so there is that.

Also, just to say that whoever it was who linked to The Way Through World of Discord is awesome, because that is a weirdly and hypnotically awesome piece of animation (and the track is great too).

Oh, absolutely. I think it's clear by now that Scootaloo is a little behind on her flying, just that Poundcake isn't a reason for her to worry or any kind of indication. It's like her cutie mark, a little late, but nothing that apparently worries anypony. In fact everypony's urging them to not worry about it.

I like to think she's a bit like Fluttershy, more at home on the ground than in the air and unlikely to ever become a great flier. Fleur-de-les?

Is never seen again after Fancy Pants first bumps into Rarity (or rather vice-versa). Even at the Canterlot Garden Party, where it would make the most sense for Fancy Pants' wife/very-special-somepony to be with him. She honestly seemed like a sentient prop to establish Fancy Pants as being a high-society pony that's similar to Jet Set and Upper Crust and, by association with Fleur, a bit of a snob when he's not so Rarity would be afraid to reveal her roots to him.

I always figured Fleur-De-Lis was arm-candy, a yes-pony, or just a friend honestly. If only because Fancy Pants is so much more like the Prince Charming that Rarity thought Blueblood was and shares a color scheme with Rarity herself (which makes them a more pleasing ((to the eye)) match) which...you know...makes them a good match for one another.

Nope! It's a common fan assumption that they are but there's no actual canon beyond them apparently moving in the same social circles of Canterlot.

If you want to respond to a bunch of different posts at the same time you can use the "multiquote" button in the bottom right corner of each one you want to add, then when you click reply they'll all be lined up for you and correctly formatted. It's the button that looks like a big quotation mark next to the word "quote" (which automatically creates a reply to just that one post)

It took me an embarrassingly long time to discover this myself. I would quote posts individually and copy-paste them all into one response from multiple tabs. I also believed that Sius wielded nefarious gypsy magic over the forum.

iTunes has the entire series available, in HD, and is the primary source of watermark free pony. Two warnings the first season has a reputation for washed out color in 720p (1080p which was only available later supposedly fixes this) and you might drag up a fix somewhere. Also its the location of the Derpygate editing fiasco you really don't want to get me going on. Just be sure you track down the original version of the Last Roundup and skip Se2Ep14 in your purchase.

Something that piques my curiosity is whether or not, in the long run, this kind of thing will make the "fixed" version of The Last Roundup harder to find in less scrupulous manners, just because the demand for the original episode will be too high and few people want to have two copies of the same episode and distribute the lesser-received one. I mean, I know where you stand on the matter and how you'd feel if that would be the case, but it's something I just can't quite research but want to research.

Though she's great on a scooter, she's been developing the wrong muscles for proper flight.

Seems unlikely. I suspect that most bronies who haven't failed basic will just buy the whole season ($50) rather than 25 individual episodes ($3 x 25). Those who want to can just run down an unmodified version of Last Roundup and have both.

Ehh a lot of the promo stuff tends to be made more cheaply... but yes that's the other end of the Gambit. By lowering my expectations I'm either insulated when proven right, or delighted when they universe proves me wrong.

Well unless someone did some amateur editing to restore it 1080p should be the edited version so if you have 1080p no watermark video for that episode its the edit. Other then that particular variation I haven't checked either but suspect you are probably right.

Makes sense too. Generally I just think flying comes more naturally to some pegasi and so Scoots probably isn't all that late compared to the norm, just later than those whose talents involve flight.

While I admit the use of multi-quote isn't that bad, you're quite right that SiuS wields nefarious gypsy magic over the forum. I still don't know how he gets the length that he does, as I'm pretty sure that multi-quote is supposed to cap out at a certain length.

This is pretty interesting. Flapping her wings quickly would still build up the muscles. So, if this theory is right, Scootaloo's issue that she doesn't have the reflexes or learned responses necessary to keep herself airborne. In which case, if Rainbow Dash ever did get around to helping her, flight might end up coming very easy to her. She'd probably get her cutie mark in the process too.

True. It'd be more accurate to say she's building up the technique wrong, even though the wingpower is there. I remember reading a fic once about Rainbow Dash teaching Scootaloo to fly, and she flew just fine once she wrapped her mind around the technique.

It's been sitting in the back of my head for a while now. Mainly, I wanted to see a world in which Scootaloo isn't homeless or orphaned, as many folks are wont to do. Mind you, those explanations can work, but it just seems like the easy way out. Once I finish this monster of a fic I'm working on/school lets me work on this fic for more than a few minutes a day, it may very well be my next writing piece.
