North for the Summer: James VS Lox

The crescent moon hangs behind a veil of dark clouds.
A lonely esso station in downtown calgary, devoid of any traffic at 5 AM save a single car, pulling up down the street.
Lox waits at the station, with his new friend Janet.
Both of them are oblivious to Caveman and James, advancing upon them like hungry jackals, staying just out of sight.

Lox and Janet arrived first, but did not make the Perc+Alert to see James sneaking up on them. James has the initiative this round. It will go James, Lox, Caveman, Janet. Next round, we will roll initiative.

Who was the Kindred standing beside the wolf? James frowned; the Kindred on her side had the vibe of a Malkavian, and who knows, maybe it was one of Eric's friends, getting close to her without alerting her as a dare or one of their 'pranks'.

No matter; disabling the wolf comes first. Summoning his eldritch energies, the Janitor glared at Janet with all his might, and his eyes flashed with necromancy.

Janet's muscles seize up, her body betraying her to the Janitor's necromantic prowess. As her muscles lock, she stumbles, looking to Lox for aid.

Of all the damnable luck! Lox shot an aggravated glare at James attempting to convey by glance alone that he was ruining the joke before throwing out his arm, producing a secondary 'wall' between the storefront and the Necromancer as he shoulders the wolfgirl in throguh the gas station's door.

Lox shoves Janet into the gas station-Aren't you glad she's Homid and not Crinos?
Opening the door, shoving her in, and positioning yourself between Janet and the Janitor, something strikes you as a little odd. (Include a Perc+Alert in your next action.)

James' eyes widened as he saw the Malkavian actually assisting the wolf, unable to believe what he was seeing. Why, this was nothing less than treason against the Kindred! Crazy the Lunatics might be, but were they this lacking in self-preservation?

Even if the Malkavian survived the night, all James had to do was acquire the CCTV reels from the station tonight to show to the Prince, and every Malkavian in the city would have had to answer for his complicity in defending a Lupine. What was he thinking?!

Snarling, James summoned his inner resources again, and his eyes flashed with eldritch power once more.

The Werewolf BOUNDS out of the storefront, TEARING into james, dealing FOUR points of aggrivated damage! (Your actions this round are unaffected, but those taken next round are taken at a serious penalty.)

James' necromantic sorcery takes hold of Janet, and, with James still caught in her jaws, she succumbs once more to Rigor Mortis.

There is an illusory wall that only Lox can see through between James/Janet and Lox/Caveman.

Caveman seems to be a little confused. Janet is pissed but frozen, and James is severely wounded.

James cursed at the horrific mauling the werewolf gave him, but he couldn't help but smirk when she ground to a halt again. Though his mangled arm was still caught in her jaws, this disadvantageous turn of events also presented an opportunity, in its own way.

"Couldn't get enough of my taste, can you babe? Very well, have your fill!"

With that, James twisted his arm even further, snagging a vein on a jagged tooth. His blood flowed down into the maw of the lycanthrope, a thick crimson river.

That done, he struggled to tear himself free from the werewolf's maw, finally dropping to the ground in a heap.

Action: Automatic escape from werewolf's clutches

Groaning in agony, the Janitor nevertheless managed to pick himself up, smirked again, and leaned close to her, whispering in her ear once more.

"I'll see you at the Sandman tomorrow night, 8 pm.

He purred. Then, turning to the gas station, he hollered out.

"Caveman! Take the Lunatic down!"

Completely disregarding the notion of giving the chair-man a chance to respond, Lox grabbed the handles of the man's wheelchair, Let's get you a better seat, Mr Chair-man! He proclaimed, puttnig the wheelchair right up against the storefront window for a better 'view' (Yknow, if Lox could remember that other people sometimes cant' see through his walls) and unintentionally pinning the man's legs as he watched the Dog and Necromancer fight.

Caveman vanishes from Lox's perception. Which is weird, since you've still got him pinned against the wall.

"Caveman! Take the Lunatic down!"

From nowhere, and somehow close by at the same time:
"Man, **** you. You paid me to come help you take down a werewolf, not commit suicide. I ain't attackin' no lunatic. But I'm keeping the knife!"

Janet's actions for the next 3 rounds don't matter, she's effectively out.
Caveman's action:

-If Caveman escapes, he's going to be invisible and doing things to neither of you. Both NPCs are effectively out of the fight.

Well, Caveman got pissed. Shaking his head, James simply staggered away to the rental, ignoring both the Nosferatu and the traitor Malkavian. He may have to visit the station again tomorrow night, get all the CCTV records to implicate the Malkavian who had ruined his perfectly laid plans...

The man suddenly vanishing, Lox stood for a moment holding nothing, then shrugged, More magicians... He muttered, dropped a lit match onto the wheelchair then walked out of the store, the wall dispelling as he walked through it and hollered at the man walking away, That's a really neat trick! Even handy in a Dog Fight He chuckled and leaned against the window of the man's car. Hey, we need a good magician for the Tea Party on Wednesday. Would you happen to be available?

Reaching his rental car, James slowly opened the driver's side door, and settled himself into the driver's seat, ignoring the Malkavian for the moment. He started the engine, and only then did the Janitor roll down the windows, leaning out of it to address the Malkavian who had been working against him earlier.

"Turn up some place where your buddies can gang on me, Lunatic? I don't think so."

That said, he turned to the still-frozen form of the werewolf, and hollered.

"Hey, babe! Changed my mind, I'll see you there at 9 pm instead!"

He smiled pleasantly as he pushed the bottle past the man's shoulder into his lap,

The Malkavian's peace offering of a bottle of liquor raised James' eyebrows. Seriously? If they were still kine, that would have been an appropriate gesture, but they were both Kindred... seriously? Typical Malkavian nonsense.

Nevertheless, forcing a smile between his lips, the Janitor nodded at the passenger seat, beckoning the Lunatic to hop on.

"Get on, before the mutt wakes up and goes nuts. Let's have a talk."

The Janitor said, exuding confidence as if he had nothing to fear from the Malkavian being seated just beside him. And perhaps, given his display of necromancy, that was probably the case.

Lox grinned, Okay! He replied cheerfully and bounced across the trunk, only to slid through the passenger window, hand extended in shake Lox, by the way...

Painfully, James gripped the Lunatic's hand with his own still blood-soaked one.

"James. You may have heard some of your folk referring to a 'Janitor'; I am he."

Wasting no time, though he was still struggling through the agony of a werewolf mauling, James gunned the engine, and drove away from the scene of the altercation.

"So the thing I'm wondering about, is this. One of your fellow Lunatic was an acquaintance of mine and wheelchair guy back there, and he said he'll be here to watch, but not join in. Did he send you down to 'prank' us, or something?"
